Some lovely person keyed my wife's car just before Christmas. I was faced with the decision of paying to get the door resprayed or tackling it myself. I came across Colourchip on another Facebook group and decided to give it a go. The scratch was really deep, and I was dubious about how well the kit would work. It took 4 thick layers of paint to build it back up to the level of the existing paint and the blending solution worked miracles removing the excess. The colour match is excellent and I'm doing to use the rest of the kit to tidy up a few other areas on her car, would definitely recommend!

Tried the product after finding a chip on the hood area of my car. It was most likely from a rock and after i did some searching i realise a paint job will be extremely expensive for what it is. I found this product and initially i was skeptical if it will work or if i would be able to repair the area myself. I thought it worth the try thus i searched for my paint code and order one kit. The instructions were very clear and i after 1h and 8 layers of paint i saw some amazing results. In some cases i saw pictures of people actually removing the dent in their paint but in my case it did a really good job in removing it partially. Its almost invisible. It does depend of how deep is the chip and how many layers you make. Definable would recommend this product. Don’t spend 200-300£ on painting the whole thing.

My car is a lease and due to go back next week. The bonnet was a mess from all the motorway miles I do. The kit cost £50 to sort the chips, the lease company would of easily put a zero on the end of that when I send it back full of chips. Money well saved.

Well, someone recently decided to key my car big time. I ended up 8 inch deep scratch on my car. I don't own a fancy car and I bought my car used but it's unsightly to see a big key mark on the car. I was seeing white so I'm assuming the scratch was down to the primer. Being a poor man that I am, I decided to look for affordable fix for it. I have used Quixx scratch remover which was rated #1 by a leading consumer magazine to remove several key marks and road rashes on my car before. I've achieved decent result from that product. But this time, someone keyed my car really good and Quixx did hardly anything at all. So I decided to try Dr. Colourchip for a change. My car's color code did not come up on Dr. Colorchip's website but I provided them the colour code from the VIN plate in the engine bay. They custom prepped the matching paint and shipped it to me. It only took 2 or 3 days from my order! Wow, talk about fast delivery when its a custom paint.

They responded very quickly and were very helpful when I contacted them regarding a colour match/code issue on my first order. I did send them a picture of the factory touchup pen vs their colour code as indicated by their website. The customer service chap was very knowledgeable and experienced and explained to me while the colour code was correct there were quite a few versions of this "white". They remixed another batch of paint and sent it out 2nd day with no charge. It's a good product and a good group of people behind it.

Used it on on sons Fiat Punto (W Reg). I noticed one of the chips had started to rust so thought I best get the other chips treated before the bonnet is riddled with rust. Does the trick, and quite cheap too. Still got loads of paint left over, so will probably do it again before next winter.

Read about Colourchip on Piston Heads where everyone was raving about it. My old (but loved) Toyota Supra had bad road rash. Bought the road rash kit and it was so easy to apply. Use the wiper to apply, then buff up. Looks the mutts nuts now.

I never even drive on motorways but my car was awash with chips. After watching a YouTube video I went for the Road n Rash Kits as it looked the easiest way to fix. I was right. Took me half an hour and car looks like new again.

Courier left on doorstep, but thats not Dr Colourchips fault. Everything you need in the box, great instructions. Took me about 20 mins to repair some bad rash on my Vauxhall Insigna (red). Highly recommend it to anyone.
