To be honest, I decided to book my car with Easi Rent because it was the best value for money. I didn’t read any reviews …I am glad that I didn’t. I booked it through rentalcars.com I visit my parents in Scotland often and I need a car to get me there because of the location where they live. I called easirent when my flight landed at Glasgow airport. I was told to go across the road to the car park and find Zone B and wait to be collected. Most of the car hire companies are next to the terminal building. A lovely guy picked me up along with another guy. Kerb appeal at the rental office is not the best. Massive pot holes at the entrance and dotted around the parking area. GO SLOW! I had decided to take out all the insurances (just in case!). The guy in the office (portacabin) greeted me and the location/potholes did not seem to be an issue anymore, they were incredibly friendly and very welcoming….and he was hot AF! Anyway…… He gave me an upgrade to a brand new Nissan Qashqai, it was a month old! I was absolutely delighted! It was so lovely to drive, I also got told when I dropped it off, again, greeted with a warm friendly smile, that the company had been sold and bought by the company that own Fiat and Vauxhall and that they were investing in newer fleet! I can honestly say that I would happily use them again! Don’t be put off by location etc…. Thanks Easirent!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Booked a reservation for a car with this company. Our flight was delayed 3 times. We finally made it to our destination and got on the van to go get the car. We arrive, the guy at counter asking us where we were from, how was the weather. How was our flight. Told us the computer was slow and then says your reservation was cancelled. You did not get here on time. He says you did not reach out to us so it got cancelled!! I said your kidding me I had verified the booking and it was fine. He got up said I am going to talk to my manager see if I can reinstate it. He ran out the front door ran in the parking lot and was yelling to get the van that brought us there to come back. He left us outside the front door and we had to go back to the airport and rent from another company . He never talked to a manager and had no plans on talking to one. We were there for maybe 10 minutes, if that! The driver told us that they could have have 70 cars and 80 people need them!! So we cancel the reservation! No email or call to say it was cancelled. I went through Rentalcars.com. We called them on the way back to the airport. They wanted us to go back to the counter of the rental car agency so they could talk to him!! Lesson learned…so learn from this review!! Stay away!! Do not rent from Easirent or book through Rentalcars.com. I give a zero review!!

I returned the car two days earlier than the return date. Obviously I did not get a return. The plot twist was that they sent me an email one week after I returned it that it has been reported as stolen. It is the worst car hire company and avoid using them at all costs. I have attached below an extract of their email. ''Please find below the details of your reservation. This car was scheduled to be returned 4 days ago now, there is no insurance on the vehicle and we have reported this now as stolen as we have not heard from you please call us asap to avoid further charges.''

Just awful. Left me waiting for over an hour and then cancelled the booking, but no refund after over a month. Rudest call centre staff I've ever spoken to. Run away!

previously left 3 * as we were offered a partial refund for a 1/2 day late hire (at their fault) but company has back tracked on this, and didn't even feel they should contact me to tell me this. you have to chase them at every step of booking and complaint. Worst service every received with a car hire company, its not been worth the stress and amount of time spent on the phone. Wish we had paid more for an experienced company with good customer service. DO NOT HIRE THROUGH EASIRENT. We are out of pocket from a missed boat trip, thank god we weren't using the car to take a flight/something more important other than it ruining a day of our holiday. in particular this is about the Edinburgh branches.

Terrible experience! Arrived at Stansted airport late at night and on my own. I was told that they were busy and the shuttle bus would take 30 minutes to get to me. When it arrived I was told that the computer had crashed and I couldn’t have a car. At this point all other car hire companies are closed, the hotels are booked and I’m stranded! I ended up massively out of pocket having to buy expensive last minute train tickets. Shocking! Never again!

Awful experience with Easirent Car Rental near Edinburgh Airport. They forced us to buy insurance that we already had covered by the credit card company. Hidden fees is how they make money. Do not be lured in by the low cost quoted in your reservation because you'll end up paying more by the time they are done with you. The car had not been washed and had a range of 3 miles in the tank when we got it. Never again.

Worst hire company ever! They cancelled and I'm still waiting for a refund. I had to cancel my holiday because of them. I'd been waiting for an hour to be picked up, and they said "Do you think you're the only person waiting?"

Avoid avoid avoid. Look at the reviews of this company across the web and you should quickly learn that this company is no good. Cheapish rental prices to then charge extortionate admin fees and push heavy on upselling insurances and the like. Just avoid.

WARNING AVOID LIKE COVID!!! WARNING! LIARS AND SCAMMERS! DO NOT USE WARNING!!! SCAMMERS! Somehow CARJET managed to get my post removed for not complying with Trustpilot rules?? Cannot figure out which rules I broke as this is all true! If we cannot give a true review on our experience of a dodgy scamming company then what's the point of these sites??? Here's my booking no Your Rental Voucher - CJT-38923949 just so there's no confusion who the villains are it is both CARJET who have my money and EASIRENT who are the car hire firm CARJET booked the car with. Booked car through CARJET to pick up from Stansted and tried to pick up with Passport, Driving licence, NHS Covid ID with address confirmation but they would not let me take car without utility bill!! I offered to scan a utility bill from home but they would not accept and said it had to be original. Everything i tried they would not accept. The most mono-syllabic unhelpful person I have ever come across. Booked through CARJET who are the ones who took my money and refuse to return it. They say that they tell you you will need proof of ID. On leaving without the car and spending £200 on taxi home to Brighton he said have a nice day GRINNING. If my wife had not been there he would have had a smack in the mouth. Trading standards informed I can only assume that the good comments interspersed with the bad are put on by themselves. You cannot contact Carjet no working tel number or email. THEY CLEARLY KEEP ADDING GOOD REVIEWS ON HERE THEMSELVES AND THEY ASK YOU TO RATE THEM IMMEDIATELY AFTER BOOKING BUT NOT AFTER TRYING TO GET YOUR CAR. BOOKING IS GREAT AND EASY. TRY AND GET YOUR CAR??

I booked with Easirent because of the great price online. The booking process seemed straight forward and with their online check-in, I was expecting a fast smooth service. This was not the case. I arrived at Dubin Airport with my wife and 3 kids (aged 6, 3 & 1). I immediately phoned Easirent to let them know we were here and to get instructions on where to go. The asked me how manyof us were there and I told them. They told me to make our way to Terminal 2 and there would be someone there to pick us all up. We arrived at Terminal 2 and there was a representative from Easirent waiting for us in a Ford Ka. We asked him what was going on, how are we supposed to fit in that car and also if that was the car they were giving us. The representative said he was just a driver and did not know. We asked him to contact the office and find out what the situation was. At this point the driver went on the phone for a few minutes. While he was on the phone I was trying to figure out how we were going to fit me, my wife, 3 kids, 3 car seats, a suitcase and other bags into this car. Next thing the driver got into the car and drove off without speaking to us. I thought they were going to return with a bigger car for us. We waited about 15-20 minutes. I then called their office to find out where the driver was. The person on the phone said they were not sending anyone because we were "abusive" to their driver. I tried to explain to the person on the phone we were not abusive to the driver and explain the situation but the person on the phone kept saying "if you keep speaking to me like that I am going to hang up the phone on you!". I asked if they were sending someone for us and he eventually agreed, but that they would only collect one person, not the family. Feeling like I had no choice I said fine to that as long as we were getting the car we booked. They said they would send someone over in 10 minutes. 20 minutes passes and there was no driver. I called the office again and they said a driver was on their way but they had to pick someone else up first and they would be 10 to 20 minutes. Another half an hour passed and I called them back again. The I tried to explain how long we were waiting and the guy responded with "you are lucky you are been picked up at all the way you abused our driver and count yourself lucky we haven't told the driver picking you up what happened otherwise you would not be picked up at all!" More time passed and there was still no sign of a driver. I called back again and they said the drivers were picking up others and they would be with us soon. At this stage over 2 hours had passed. I called again and when I told the guy on the phone who I was his response was "I guess nobody has picked you up yet?". At this point I said to him this was ridiculous. He then said that he would personally lock up the office and come and collect us. I asked how long that would take and he said "7 to 10 minutes". I went into the terminal to update my wife on the situation. As I as doing this I got another call from Easirent. It was the manager I had been talking to a minute before. He said he was about to come for me but just to let me know "we do not have a car for you" I asked what he meant by that and he said they were waiting for a delivery of cars from Shannon Airport. I asked how long would that take and he responded "a few hours" At this stage I got very annoyed and told him that this was ridiculous and shocking customer service. To which he started to say again "if you continue to be abusive to me I will hang up the phone". I tried to explain that we had waited patiently for nearly 3 hours for someone to collect us and after all this time they are now telling us they never had one for us. I asked what would I be doing if I went to the office if I wasn't picking up a car and he said "waiting with the queue of other people waiting for cars". At this I expressed how I felt about the situation and I really wasn't happy. His response was "if you keep talking over me I am going to end the conversation" and hung up. My wife and I decided to go to the car hire desks in Terminal 2 to see if we could get a car but they were all booked out. I called Easirent back and asked them can they guarantee a car in a few hours if my family and I go for something to eat. They told me yes. So we decided that is what we would do. I then noticed a missed call on my phone. It was Easirent again. The guy said they had cancelled the booking and that they were not going to reinstate it and we should look elsewhere. The bottom line of this is Easirent seem to operate on a policy that the customer does not come first. If you express any kind of displeasure at their customer service they call it "abuse" and use that against you. Do not rent from these people. COWBOYS. Please read other reviews. You will find a lot of reviews similar to mine.

Do not use this company. Having been given what was a rather shoddy looking car, the clutch broke within 48 hours (after less than 4 hours driving), rendering the vehicle undrivable and nearly causing a fatal collision on a very busy A road. After being pushed onto the verge by the Police, I contacted customer service to organise recovery. Rather than empathy or concern, the customer services representative suggested that I was responsible for 'breaking the clutch'. I have nearly 30 years driving experience of manual cars and have never worn out a clutch. After promising recovery within 90 minutes, the breakdown services took more than three hours to arrive. I was told by the "customer service" representative on the phone that if I wanted a working replacement car I would have to be towed to Luton Airport (which is not where I rented the car from) and wait for a full diagnosis of the broken down car. Nine week later this has still not been done - I'd still be waiting in their Luton branch. This 'offer' was not an option for me as I was on my way to pick up my terminally ill mother to take her to Wales for her last family holiday. So I had to ask a friend to drive from Norwich to pick me up and take me to London where, at further expense, I had to hire a car from another provider (SIXT - they are very good. Try them instead.) More than eight weeks later and following dozens of emails, phone calls and online requests, Easirent has still not provided a report on the clutch or a full refund. On July 7th, the area manager David Hoffman promised me a report was forthcoming yet nothing has materialised. I have never ever written about a company on this before but I do not want anyone to give this shambles of a company any money or endure the awful experience that I have, Do not use them and please warn others.

After renting a car and paying the initial "final" fee I was greeted with an additional fee that was 100% of the original cost, that is supposedly payable at the counter. After filling out the online check-in form and navigating back to the page the fee went up to 130% of the original cost. I would be lying if I said I didn't expect anymore additional fees.

It has been a nightmare. The Queensaway location, doesn't have anyone there to talk to and when you call the costumer service number, none answers for 15/20 minutes. One of the people who answered actually swore at the phone, cause I was asking too many information. They requested necessary documents to rent the car 20 minutes before the pick up, which delayed my rental of 1 hour and half, cause I had to go back home to get them. They asked £1.500 of deposit if you have a credit card( never mentioned before). In case you have a debit card they make you pay £35 more for renting the basic car. So they ruined my weekend and they charged me £120 for 20 h rental, because at the end they wanted the car back at the time I was supposed to get it, don't even the flexibility to leave it to me at the exact time I got it, till the next 24h. Moreover the tank was left below half and I had to stop at the petroil station to fill it and the car was disgustingly dirty and we are in the middle of a pandemic.Disgusting scammers, never more in my life!!

My wife arrived at the Easirent portakabin in Stansted to collect her car off a flight from Edinburgh. She had flown to London to take our daughter to her first chemo. The terms of her booking state that arrivals not via the airport must show a paper copy of a utility bill. However my wife arrived via the airport. The booking agent refused to accept this, refused even a photo or email of a utility bill, and refused to release the car to her. My wife was very lucky to find another car at much higher expense. They caused great distress on an already very distressing and worrying day. Not only this, but I have since learned that there was a colleague in the office of the booking agent and when he saw my wife walk in he said to the agent "What are you going to do about this one then?". I have also learned that the agent tried a number of other technicalities to refuse my wife's booking before he resorted to the utility bill ruse. This has led me to believe that there was in fact no car available for my wife and the agent was trying to get rid of her. If this is true, then the agent has stored up for himself a lifetime of bad karma
