“The worst company ever. Please avoid at all cost this company it’s a typical robbers. They con their customers. The company it’s called easy rent but nothing with them is easy. I arrived 3 am in Sofia. The guy told me where the car was and told me to inspect it myself and gave me the keys. I’ve done full 360 video. On return he immediately spotted a unexisting scratch. They charged me 800€ the charge was not present but it was almost underneath it’s difficult for any customer to inspect. They know where to hit you. They didn’t offer me a transfer to the airport terminal like other companies. The car they gave me was a complete old junk and very bad car.
Stuff are extremely unprofessional and lazy. They are grumpy and make you feel unwelcomed. Please avoid this company at all cost they are bad very bad

Before taking the car make photos of EVERY single scratch, regardless how small it is!!! Don't give them the chance to cheat on you!

This company will take you for a ride to return your deposit making false claims of cameras and parking charges. Being a Bulgarian national I know how the system works. They just retain your deposit and make you beg for it to be returned. There is no truth in what they tell you. As a matter of fact I’ve been renting cars in all continents other then Australia.. never ever have I encountered such a disloyal company. Its the worst. DON'T RENT FROM THIS COMPANY .. IT'S A SCAM and they are real Scamers.”

-I received the car an hour after the agreed time.
-the same car lacked any equipment such as: first aid kit fire extinguisher, triangle,which led to many road problems with traffic police officers.(thank them for their understanding)
-the deposit was not returned to me because,......
-after inspecting the car which I personally did not attend he had suspicions of smoking in the car......(there are no smokers in my family)
-and the second is that someone had used the spare wheel and they told me it was me.

Supposed damage was and has been made up by the guy who checked in the car along with doing it to other car rental returns as i discussed it with other customers, this is 100% a SCAM He checked the car all over a was happy then started to walk away but returned and walk round the far side of the car to an exact spot obviously knowing where a point out a pin dot on a bottom corner of the rear door, i tried to discuss this but he would not listen and turned nasty and then he all of a sudden could not speak much English, this all speaks for its self 100% a SCAM

At beginning of March I rented a car in Sofia airport after booking through Ryanair website... i also got an insurance trough tmRyanairbinsuranxe ... when I picked up the car i was requested to provide a deposit with my credit card of 3000 BGN ( this is normal as the full insurance i bought was 3rd party). After I returned the car, they claim theat there were damages below the car (invisible at sight ) and fir this reason I got charged other 3000 BGN ... after more than 45 days they still did still did not returned the initial deposirlt (serious company return it after max 5 days ) plus they refuse to prpvide my 3rd party insurance the full documentation to allow them to finalize the practice.. result: after 1 month and a half they still owe me 6000 BGN...I'm proceeding with legal actions i hope all the people scammed in this way but those criminals will do the same”

They gave me car with leaking fuel tank! I supposed to bring it my self to another city to get replacement one, even I rang that I'm coming, they didn't even tried to make car ready by the time I would come for replacement. Only when I came, worked first finished his lunch, after he washed the car, filled air in tires, both cars had punctures in tires, the lights came on on same day of car collection. One of the car was in bits... Terrible smell inside, dirty burned with cigarettes seats, both cars had damages all around, and mainly, lady said it's ok that fuel is leaking, that it's happen in these cars, it was just overfilled by petrol station worker... Terrible communication, terrible service, terrible condition cars... And not return deposit!! Will spread all this story in whole internet!”

Rented one of their expensive cars on Nov 8, 23 from Sofia Airport. Paid double so i can get full insurance coverage. Started driving towards Plovdiv and some kind of animal (a dog i think) jumped in front of the vehicle. They told me to call 112 and have the officers write a protocol. 2 officers from Pazardjik came and refused to give me a protocol (after taking an alcohol test and pictures of my documents) because apparently they couldn't see the animal (it apparently survived and ran off the road). Company told me not to worry and sent me a tow truck to take the car back to the airport. There they made me pay 9000 BGN because the officers didn't give me a document (protocol) and assured me MULTIPLE TIMES that the money will be returned within 10 business days. After more than 15 business days i call back looking for my money and they said they will not be returning it because i didn't give them a document from the officers (protocol) and that their insurance won't pay for the damages without that document. I asked what their insurance provider is and they told me "Lev Ins", then proceeded to hang up the phone and block my number. I, then, called "Lev Ins" and asked them about their procedures and had a long conversation with a nice lady that assured me they DO NOT require such a document, but merely a call to 112, which they can obtain records for themselves. My mistake was that i blindly put trust in this company. After being away from Bulgaria for 10+ years i can see that nothing has changed and the same type of scumbags are still the majority in there. Even in their "Terms and Conditions" on their website under section 5 you can see point 1.1 where they say that if a Protocol is not provided from the Authorities - you are responsible for the damages. Screw the customer, right? All that matters is that we steal some money. Well, karma is will eventually get them i'm sure, but in the meantime i'll be hiring lawyers, because that's what civilized people do.”

I would definitely not book with them for the future and would not recommend them to anyone. First of all they made us book another car through them, as our flight was delayed by saying that rentalcars.com cancelled our initial reservation on their behalf, taking advantage of the fact we were at the airport 9hrs later than scheduled, and we were very tired. Even though I called as soon we knew we will be late for the booking and they said there is nothing to worry about and our car will be waiting for us at the airport, despite the delay. After calling the website (rentalcars) a few days later, we got to know that we could have actually proceeded with the original booking if only we got in touch with them directly, and not through easyrent. Conveniently enough (for the latter) they did not tell us that. After the car was returned, the man who took the keys from me, confirming no damage was done, said I will be receiving my 400lv deposit soon. After 5 days, I called them and they said it takes around 20 days. After 20 more days I called them and they said that there was a speeding ticket on my name which was why I got delayed. On top of that fee, they came up with the another 59 bgn for some admin fee or whatever. Obviously, I am not disputing the speeding ticket, 50lv, which was my fault, but:
1. As a provider, aren't you supposed to give your customers a call and inform them about stuff like that? Or at least a message?
2. I can bet that if I never called that deposit would have been gone forever. BTW, I still haven't received any of it.
3. When I asked if I can get a receipt for that 59lv fee they mentioned, I got no answer. I only was given a blurry photo of our contract, barely readable.
4. When I checked the TollPass website it said nothing about tickets or fines for that vehicle. Dunno, might have been paid already, but then again, as a customer, am I not supposed to receive a receipt for things like that? Isn't that my money in the end?
5. Not to mention my phone bill.
I am definitely using another provider for my next trip.
P.S: The man who took the keys back, had the insolence to ask me to leave them a positive response as well. Well, I believe 1 star is more than enough, as it is sadly not possible to leave 0.
P.s 2. I wonder how many of the positive responses here are real, and how many were done by their friends and families. After reading the negative comments..well, up to you to decide really. I just hope to receive at least some of my money back.

אז זהו, שגבו את הפקדון במלואו, ואמרו שזה עלה יותר .
מסכום הפקדון. ביקשתי קבלה על התיקון ועוד לא קיבלתי.
והביטוח לא מכסה נזקים פנימיים בתוך הרכב.

“Do not rent car from this company, they will charge you a huge car deposit - mine was 1000 leva / 550$ and will not return the deposit , here chatting on line with representative with no results-it’s simply Bulgarian scam ! Once you return the car and fly out of the country forget about your deposit,that’s probably their “ game” as they know a lot of people will never return to Bulgaria.
