I have several old pairs of Ecco and my size is the same. I ordered a pair in my Ecco size but it arrived huge, fell off my feet. I had to pay for the return for which the company provided a ups label that cost me $28. I approached the company to say that when a certain style runs much bigger than usual it should be noted online. Furthermore, where one clicks on the size tablet it says not to worry about discrepancies because the pair can be returns at full refund. It does not mention the customer has to pay for shipping. I snapshot this misleading message and sent to customer service. The customer service was not helpful. I’m no longer interested in pursuing the shipping cost, it’s secondary to the fact that there is an issue w a certain style, info is misleading, and the company does not care to learn from this, or address the issue. The customer service dodged my points and I am not even sure it was a real person behind the emails. This left such a bad impression that I’m writing a review which is very rare for me. Customers, please know the sizes at Ecco vary dramatically - do not shop online! You will end up paying for a company online error - with no accountability on their end. You will waste time and money. Please only shop at a store to prevent this.

The heels of my Ecco loafers literally disintegrated as I was walking into a job interview this week. I hardly wear these shoes. They look new….I store them in my closet when not wearing them, along with my other dress shoes. Will never buy these shoes or any Ecco products ever again. If do get their dress shoes, be prepared for this to happen.

The sizing of these shoes is so far off it's laughable. What they sold as a 9/9.5 fits my friend's size 11 foot. ECCO would not allow for an exchange. Have to return them and order the right size now that the price has been jacked up 100%.

Ecco Canada has a lot to learn about customer service. First of all, they will not issue a return shipping label, so not only will they charge you to ship the product (depending on the amount of your purchase), you have to pay to return the items. This is not clear on the website. I live 10 minutes from the return depot. I asked if I could drop off the return, rather than incurring shipping costs. Nope - no way - that would be way to easy for the customer. While someone does respond via email, they are little robots that simply write back and tell you f**k off in a nice, passive way. No real effort to assist the customer. I returned the shoes because the price did not reflect the quality of the materials and construction. No value here. Buy your shoes elsewhere.

Ecco shoe soles will disintegrate if left in your closet for an extended time. I recently went to a funeral & left rubber & rubber dust all over the church floor! No help from Ecco except for 20% off next purchase! No thanks! Looked online at this problem & plenty others reporting same issue!

Terrible shoes. Deceptive merchandising. Shoes too wide. No support. Changed their sizing without notice. Will not accept shoes returned. Terrible company. Don't Buy Ecco.

I owned two pair of Helsinki mens dress shoes, brown and black, and wore them for their comfort and styling, however after the rubber shoes disintegrated and separated from the uppers I cannot recommend them. The leather uppers remain in great condition but it is completely disappointing and embarrassing when one's shoes fall apart while wearing them.

I purchased a shoe from ECCO USA around 9 weeks ago. They charged my credit card and after a few days, I received a UPS tracking number. It indicates that a label was created, and a delivery date be provided ASAP. After waiting more than 2 months, I never received the item. I contacted the ECOO USA customer service. They are not helpful at all. It seems that customers not receiving their packages is pretty normal for their company. And more interestingly they told me that according to their policy, they cannot send the item for me because more than 30 days have passed!!! Do NOT purchase any item from ECOO USA. Here is the reference number of my correspondence with their customer service: [ ref:!00D1r0tNNo.!500QA0CmDsC:ref ]

I'm glad I had tried blundstones and uggs before I tried the similarily styled ecco pullon, ankle boot or whatever it's called. Because now I will only shop for ecco. The insole was supportive and they were easy to pull on. The leather is soft enough for my foot bones but thick enough that it's not going to be easily destroyed. Great for walking. And my foot feels supported but not claustrophobic....Not sure why they say left and right on each boot, but maybe that is helpful for some people.

Awful, awful customer service. They have misleading information on their website and cannot return what I bought to the store they have listed on their own website? this store should be banned. Stay away, people! not worth your money or time. Now I have to pay shipping for 2 pair of shoes that did not fit and need to return by mail. Zero stars if I could.

ECCO WOMEN'S SOFT 7 SNEAKER Definitely not comfortable and definitely not soft. I returned them in perfect condition over 4 weeks ago and I am still waiting for my credit. I will never shop here again.

I've been very impressed with ECCO's customer service and policies. Even when a return went sideways, ECCO did the right thing and issued my return. I'm also very happy with my ECCO shoes, which last a very long time and are more comfortable than any others.

Purchased a pair white runners on the recommendation of your staff sale assistant, paid $259.95. The shoe on my right foot gave me a large blister which started to bleed. The other shoe on my left foot was perfect. The shoes purchased in February last year. I had spinal surgery in late March and thought the white sand shoes would help me when walking, for light exercise. I needed to rest (no walking) for eight weeks. I persevered thinking the leather in the heel of the shoe would soften and everything would be fine. It hasn’t and in the meantime I travelled overseas. Took the shoes to the store I purchased them Sydney City spoke to the Manager. Explained my situation showed the shoes informed her I did not want a refund or exchange I would like the heel of the shoe to be repaired as she could see the shoes have not been worn that much and many band aids on the heel of the shoe to prevent further injury. Prof of purchased was on my store history unfortunately because I had worn the shoes she could do nothing for me as the shoes are not faulty my feet are the problem. I have as well as my family have purchased many Ecco shoes both female and male shoes. I have never had a problem before. The manager told me to sent a email to your customer service don’t ring as you will be waiting for a long time. Went home very disappointed as she repeatedly said my feet are the problem and of course I have worn the shoes that is why I have a problem with them. Rang your customer service and again she informed that there is nothing your company can do for me. I feel that is unacceptable $259.95 for a pair of your shoes that I can not wear because they are causing me injury and pain. Most disappointed by your store manager, she was not interested in what I was telling her and insisting my feet are the problem not the shoes. I informed her I would ring customer service as I was not a happy existing customer. Ecco shoes was recommended by my podiatrist many years ago I will inform her about my experience and how unhelpful the staff in store and customer service are.

Ecco had been my mother’s go-to shoe… Ecco had been my mother’s go-to shoe for many years until her latest experience with poor quality and non-existent customer service. The latest pair (sandals) had been worn one season and stored over the winter in the original box with the silica gel packets included when purchased. With a purchase price at Nordstrom’s of $169.99, she reasonably expected to wear them again this past summer (2023). To our surprise, the soles were cracked and chunks of sole fallen off in the box. We emailed Ecco in mid-October, 2023, for help with no response. We emailed Ecco again on November 30, 2023, requesting a response but none has come to date (February 11, 2024). There is no customer service number to call and Ecco’s chat feature says it is unavailable. After researching this issue, I have found there are literally hundreds of similar complaints from consumers regarding defective soles and no customer service options. We would NEVER recommend Ecco shoes after this awful experience. Shame on you Ecco for terrible customer service and deteriorating quality!

My shoes arrived. They were too small, too narrow ugly and when I went to send them back they had no return policy no return label I had to send them back. It cost me $50 to send them back. I would never order from this company ever again worst customer service in the entire world.

I had to return a pair of boots that were too big. After contacting Ecco twice, I finally received a refund after 2 months. Never again!

Shoe quality is ok on most offerings. Customer service has declined, exchanges are no longer available and agents seems all to happy to quote unhelpful policies and obscure delays in refunds or shipping. They are not alone in the space of declining on-line service but it's disappointing because they used to be pretty good. Brick and mortar are returning to my shopping wheelhouse.

Warning prospective ECCO purchasers: i got a pair of black dress boots and wore them less than 50 times. Then the heels and soles (which were not leather but some kind of artificial material) started to disintegrate. I left a trail of black particles when I walked. Since this issue occurred after the one year warranty period, I'm out of luck. Premium brand, ha!
