“Unfortunately i cannot write a good review as the customer support provided by electriq is atrocious. I was lied to by the first agent who told me they would contact the sole trader whose name the warranty was in to enable Electriq to deal with me (the home owner for whom the sole trader installed a kitchen) as i have been unable to get a response. After a week I phoned back Electriq who informed me that they would never attempt to make that contact - it was my responsibility and tough luck if I could not contact the warranty holder even though it is registered for my address! Presumably this applies to the other 3 items purchased for installation in my kitchen. For this reason my rating is 0 of 5”
“bought fridge freezer from these in april, 6 months later it broke down, engineer came out and said cant be repaired, as it was under guarantee, said i would get replacement, they sent me text saying GREAT NEWS we have been instructed to provide a replacement, we are in process of choosing the perfect product and will be in touch as soon as we have any further update for you, not heard from them since, looks like claim in county court coming up”
“no replacement parts for a broken door handle. the washing machine is less than three years old and has to go to landfil. it shouldn't be legal for a comany in 2024 to have such poor replacement parts after care and should be fined for contributing to environmental waste - terrible company”
“Very poor performance,takes a long time to ignite and heat, food cooks quicker on one side. I have 2 of these oven and they are both the same. Only 1 tray supplied even though I had photos of 2 on original order but its hard to communicate with company”

Parts dept useless as well. Engineer promised a new inside door tray when he came to repair last August as it just broke in my hand. Still waiting in January to be told it doesn’t exist and was never ordered.”
“Bought a dishwasher. Was delivered without the fitting kit. Then the tablet dispenser broke and finally the element went - all working 7 months of 3 uses a week. Poor quality product with worse quality customer service.”
“So I have an Electriq Cooker Hood and the fan has failed. Just been advised that the replacement part is not available and they have no idea when it will be available.
The solution buy a new Cooker Hood from a different manufacturer/distributor (Electricq are not a manufacturer)”

Bought an aircon unit, the fan stopped working and it’s out of warranty. Was told a repair would be £200 to £300 yet a new unit is around £300. I said that was disgraceful for a repair cost as only the fan isn’t working. I was told to contact a local person to see if they can fix it and nothing they can do. They won’t even sell me any replacement parts so I can’t fix it regardless. Avoid this brand and appliances direct company.”

“Bought an aircon unit sf12000 from appliances direct in April expecting a hot summer wishful thinking on the odd time it has been warm have been unable to use it as it makes a horrendous noise and the oscillating motion does t work Ive been battling for a return and swap to no avail so far

“I live in a Park Home which was connected to Natural Gas in 2018/19. The new gas hob from Electriq in my home was supplied by Happy Energy and installed in March 2019. Yesterday 26 July 2023 I had a Government notice via the Park Home office to let me and other residents know that a number of supplied in 2018/19 hobs had to be recalled; to stop using them immediately because they are deemed to be too dangerous! I noticed two faults the day I began to use it. Not to be recommended.”
“Avoid this oven and Appliances Direct. Now that it just outside of the warranty then they aren't interested. I am assuming that the thermocouple has failed. The gas comes on ok but won't stop on. I have tried various independent parts suppliers but with no luck.”
