“I was happy overall but initially a bit worried that it wouldn't arrive in time to send it in to a friend for Christmas as I want told what day it would arrive for a few days. But I would come back to the website again.”
“The package contained what I ordered. DPD dumped the package at a gate 100 meters from my house. I have complained to EVERGREEN and DPD over the last two years to no avail. Both EVERGREEN and DPD are in breach of contract. I am going to complain to COMREG.”
“Took over a week for the order to arrive. Got an automated email to say they had delays if I wanted to cancel and get a refund. I was in the process of ordering with another company and then the order arrived the next day. On a positive note, well packaged and all items received.”
“Delivery quite slow and a loose bottle-top caused a leak of shampoo onto the contents of the box. That should have been checked before dispatch. Please take better care in future.”
“I am very happy with evergreen overall, one problem is that packages have started to be delivered damaged since the covid 19 pandemic began (including this one) I would suggest that evergreen staff liase with couriers to see if there is something that can be done reduce the number of damaged goods during transit”
“On receipt of my order the box was burst and dripping liquid . The lavender cleaning spray I had ordered had leaked all over the contents of my package . Everything smelt of lavender! As I had ordered some over night oats I was worried that it would be contaminated but thankfully it was only the outer packaging that smelt of lavender , even though my son now won’t eat them because of the smell . I never had a problem with evergreen up until now but was disappointed with this order as ultimately I not only lost half my cleaning spray but the food was also affected.”
“The product was ready for collection very fast (click & collect) which was great and the girl was very friendly on collection. However, I had an issue adding the points to my account. Online, the system wanted me to set up an account but when I would try to do so, it said I already had one but yet there didn't seem to be an easy spot to add loyalty card points. I queried it on collection, the girl looked up my card number and could see that the points weren't added. She didn't truly seem to understand the system and said she would get someone from the IT team to contact me, they never did.”
“No order confirmation received until order was dispatched. Also very lengthy dispatch and delivery took few days after it. Overall too long for a national delivery so next time may shop else where.”
“Too much packaging for online order I really like the products and am delighted to see palm oil free shampoo available. I was very disappointed to see the amount of packaging used to wrap the plastic bottles. I could understand if they were glass bottles but the excessive packaging was in my view completely over the top and wasteful.”
“Evergreen have a huge selection of stock so great choice but if you are ordering online be prepared for your order not arriving for a week, that is my only critisism”
“Not much communication after placing the order. There was no information as to when it will be shipped. When I sent a message to ask there was no reply. Only a week after placing the order it wa sent out and I think it’s way too long.”
“The website was easy to use. I choose click and collect as thought it would be quick and even the next day kind of thing. 3 days later I had heard nothing so sent an email to customer services, got a text the following day to say the order was ready for collection. Had I known it was gona take 5 days to do a click and collect I wouldn't have bothered. It was a pointless exercise for me to do the click and collect as it took so long, I ended up going to a different shop anyways to buy what I needed before the evergreen order was ready. I remember doing delivery before and it took a long time which is why I went click and collect this time. Won't be doing either again.”
“I was happy with the products and packaging however, my reason for a lower star review is that I had to pay for postage as I couldn't meet the €55 minimum to get free delivery this time. I think that is a bit high. Also, if I had known the delivery would take over a week to arrive, I would probably have held off as I was going into Galway a couple of days after that anyway. I don't know why the delivery took so long when it is only travelling within the county.”
