“Avoid Jumia at all costs. I have had several very poor experiences with their delivery service and even worse service from their online/resolution team. A 53 minute delivery time turned into a 1hr 50 min delivery with the food freezing cold and the order incorrect. "The resolution team will call you back" said the online chat agent......I am still waiting. Look for all alternatives to Jumia, you cannot be that hungry!!”
“It's now 2 weeks since I was billed for an order I didn't receive, I have been following up with the company for a refund but they keep taking me round in circles”
“My order was wrong. I ordered a colonel burger lunch box and got delivered 2 pieces of chicken and fries.
It has also taken 2 hours for the review to be responded to.”
“I waited for food for 30 mins before someone called me to tell me my order has been cancelled and if i wanted to continue with the order. I said i would as i was not aware the order had been cancelled by the vendor. They said it would be delivered in 30 mins, 1 hr after the phone call, still no food. I call back and a gentleman says it will be delivered he is confirming in a few minutes. 15 minutes later, no food, no confirmation. I call back annoyed, and a lady tells me, the order is cancelled on the system, Urgh! I wasted 2 hrs.”

“They cancel orders and never refund. Don't agree to pay before your food is delivered otherwise they cancel orders, promise to refund after 48 hours and it never happens.”
“Very very disappointing. Not worth it. Ordered and app showed food was being processed and would be delivered in 40 minutes. After 39 minutes wait Jumia calls to say the food I ordered was not available. Really? After 39 minutes? Shame on you. Best to order directly. Its cheaper and faster. Delivery is also free for most outlets.
Done with you. The worst part is despite making my disappointment known to the caller and on chat there has been no apology or follow up.
