“If you run low on data/mins etc, they automatically do a top up charge so your service doesnt get turned off. To turn off automatic top up, you have to pay $7 a month. I think in the past you still had to pay a one time fee to stop top ups. What type of BS is this? I get the idea to prevent a stop in service but this is not the way to do it. For people who are struggling to pay bills and needs a cheap plan, this is the worst thing. I've been a long time customer of Freedompop and this is why I never recommend it to others. Its free but you have to be very careful.”
“It is an automatic refill function which is difficult to understand. So I am not aware of it. Then they charged me for USD 20 without refund. and if I want to deactivate the automatic refill I have to pay USD 6.99 per month for a reminder.
