“I've been much enjoying experimenting with my two new sourdough starters. Both have settled in happily, and are flourishing. I have cancelled my regular bread order, and am loving being able to make bread exactly as I like it. “The delivery time was appalling (I had cultures delivered from Bulgaria in less than half the time) and £4.00 for a single sachet; I assumed it was for a box of 5 or 10 (the listing gave no idea of the quantity).”

“We recieved the Gluten Free Sourdough starter ok. No problems dealing with the Company. However, despite our best efforts we could not get the starter working well. Our numerous attempts to make GF sourdough bread have all failed and we have sadly given up. This is 2 months down the line from receiving the starter. I have made beautiful 'normal' sourdough from starter friends have given us, but we have come to the conclusion that Gluten free sourdough bread is impossible.”

“Excellent company, with good competitive prices. I’ve bought both the milk kefir and water kefir grains and had no trouble fermenting them, following the instructions on the website. My milk kefir grains multiplied so well, I’ve frozen some for future use. The water kefir grains look healthy and and clear. I’d have no hesitation buying from Freshly Fermented again, although I don’t think I’ll be needing grains any time soon!”

“I ordered the culture for creamy yoghurt and I can vouch for just how lovely and creamy it is. Also it was very easy to make with UHT as per the instructions that came with the culture.”

“Sourdough effective and tasty, no fuss. Fetir more unpredictable, but the instructions do warn of this. Now seems to be settling down, though it tastes sharper than the shop-bought stuff. Some sourdough bread-making instructions would help, e.g. flour to water ratios, salt, sugar etc.”
