My late wife and I were very daunted by the prospect of having to pursue a medical negligence claim. From the initial discussions to its successful conclusion, I have found all the staff involved with her claim have shown nothing but a willingness to provide compassionate help, guidance and assurance that this was the correct thing to do. From the beginning to the end of my case I was informed of every next step, the only downside was that between elements of the case building, there were some long gaps where I felt slightly forgotten. But overall excellent.

Gadsby Wicks and especially my representative Caragh, were so professional and compassionate. I would highly recommend contacting Gadsby Wicks if you are in doubt of whether to pursue a claim. From the very beginning, they made me feel very comfortable and reassured. Going through a claim is difficult enough and Caragh, helped me through every step and I was taken back by how compassionate, yet professional she was throughout my journey. She always sent me an update and was super helpful in advising what next steps should be. I couldn’t recommend this company enough!

My experience of Gadsby Wicks was very positive even though I decided to not pursue my claim through what would have been a very long and difficult journey. The only small criticism that I have is that the way that the clinical negligence claim process works makes it difficult to understand what the costs of persuing the claim might be.

After being let down by a medical negligence law firm, I found Gadsby Wicks. They were absolutely fantastic in dealing with my son's claim. My case was handled by Tony Mitty who was very professional and friendly. His in-depth legal knowledge and experience helped steer the case in the right direction. Gadsby wicks were absolutely outstanding in all areas. My solicitor was Elliot Clarke and he dealt with my case from start to finish. This was particularly useful at the later stages in meetings with experts and barristers etc, because he knew my case so well, If i had trouble trying to get my point across he would jump in and clarify what i was trying to say. My case was not the most straightforward to prove due to missing records and lots of contributing factors. There were times that i thought we were wasting our time. Elliot always believed 100% that my case was strong and we got a positive result in the end. He is also very good at translating overly complicated legal and medical jargon into plain english. The whole process is long and complicated. Its not all plain sailing and there were setbacks along the way. Elliot was always completely honest about these things and how strong my case was overall. As he likes to say "Hit everything with a straight bat." I am glad i chose a clinical negligence specialist because as previously stated, the process is very complicated and their knowledge of the system is particularly useful.

Found Gadsby Wicks very supportive and helpful until an independent expert Professor M Winslet went through my late mum's medical records and said their was no case .But looking through his notes my mum presented herself with the same symptoms of acute abdominal pain on the Saturday 6th of November 2021 as she did on the Friday the 5th of November 2021. Friday she was sent home with an UTI . That's written in black and white.Very contradictive.Even the professor hasn't looked at what happened on them two days Yes my mum did have ongoing history of medical issues but this was nothing to do what happened on that Friday and Saturday.Does this not deserve a second opinion.

I honestly couldn’t say they needed to improve on anything, my solicitor to my personal case Elliot Clarke was outstanding, he really cared and that matters in cases like this, including Gillian, even down to the security’s the whole way through my case they was all so lovely and so helpful and helped me get what I deserved, I couldn’t of asked for better people to support me in such a hard time.
