It used to be good but now the customer services has gone drastically downhill. For me trying to return an item for a refund was a nightmare. Goodbye and good riddens! 👎☹️👎

Great service from Jolly at GAK yesterday. Looking to get a new guitar once I've sold my car - told Jolly I was only in to test a few and was a proper gent about it. Ended up trying 5 or 6, and got my eye on one! Jolly was always about to help and nothing was too much to ask. Thanks again mate!

GAK is Goated, I ordered an Audio Interface which then arrived the next day, the quality is absurd and the content was first class! I loved it and the staff is welcoming and they assisted me in the few trials I went through. Amma go and buy from em again.

I ordered an audio interface from them as they offered delivery on Wednesday 10th April, I had plans to use it that evening. It did not arrive and at time of writing on Thursday 11 April there are not even any tracking details available. I contacted customer service who blamed parcel force. As compensation I was sent a £5 discount voucher to be used against my next purchase. How insulting. I will never buy from them again, and I am sure they will know where to stick the voucher.

Two out of Two. In the past 10 days I have taken delivery of a Fantastic new Bass Head (Peavey Mini Mega) and a stunning new Bass (Fender FSR Precision). The quality of service, and communication could not be better. the Bass was even in tune! after travelling half way across the world and then up the UK. Excellent on price as well for both items. The next thing I need I will be back. Thank you Guys!!

Not good Dissipated When I refused a item cost me over one thousand pound with quality control issue fault I retrned same day That manager didn't like it

I received my guitar-case the day after I ordered it from Brighton, in spite of me being based in the north of England. Incredible First Class service. 10/10 and thankyou.

I bought a couple of little things from GAK in the past and it was fine. But I recently sold a guitar and amp to them using “sell your gear” and had a terrible experience. I negotiated a fair price for a Fender Strat, Fender amp, and gig bag (£350). I bought a cardboard box and some bubble wrap from GAK to package everything up in, and had it collected via courier as arranged by GAK. Once my gear had been delivered to GAK, I was told that the guitar was faulty so they would be sending it back to me. Apparently, the pickups don’t work, the neck is twisted, and the tone dials don’t respond as they’re supposed to. I know for a fact that there were none of these faults with the guitar when I sent it off, because I played it one last time before packaging it up. I got in touch with a second-hand buyer at GAK to tell them that the guitar was absolutely not faulty when I sent it off, but they insisted that it hadn’t been damaged either in transit or after it had been received by them. They have promised to refund me the money I spent on the cardboard box and bubble wrap which I’m grateful for, but I’m absolutely gutted that my guitar is now broken and I have nothing to show for it. I’m not sure if this kind of thing happens a lot or if it’s an isolated incident, but I will certainly not be selling anything to GAK in the future.

Purchased a set of pickups at the price of £169 and a week after payment was taken and me waiting for my pick ups they cancelled my order because in between payment and delivery the price went up and they had ti cheek ti ask me ti repurchase at the increased price instead. Just no. Unbelievably unacceptable, items bought at an advertised priced must be honoured! Will never shop there again.

Ordered a guitar supposed to be delivered as my choice today. Not so no tracking email odd thinks I. Check with my bank funds still uncleared. Why because they haven't claimed thier money. Emailed them automated response to my email. Give them 24 hours then will cancel my order if not satisfied.

Terrible company! i should have gone with my gut and not price...Buy from Andertons people....youll make a mistake with GAK...its a major gamble. Brought a brand new guitar with so many cosmetic issues...it beggars belief! and little care given to my predicament... Totally sending it back for a full refund and will NEVER buy from GAK again!.....hardly burning a bridge there, considering how bad they are.

I decided to give GAK another go, mainly because I need the item next day. I ordered a guitar and again dhl didnt deliver the item next day, I asked if it could be left in a safe place and it couldn't, which is fair enough. They then tell me they can deliver it to a dhl parcel shop, I told them the importance on getting the items that day as it was a present. I check the tracking and it had been delivered to the dhl pick up point and I should receive a pick up code shortly. After 2 hours and no code I rang dhl, they told me the items is definitely located at the pick up point they just haven't scanned it in. They told me to go there ask the shop assistant to scan it in and my code should be instant. Once I get to the shop where the pick up point was I was greeted with a sign saying closed for refurbishment until saturday (3 days away) I rang gak and explained and the said sorry they will call the item back and issue me a refund as I needed to go to guitar shop to buy one ready for the present. At the moment I dont blame gak other than using a cheap courier. However it has been over a week now and gak are saying they wont refund me until the items is back with them and they are struggling getting the item back. So there courier didn't get items to me or them and I'm paying for it. It's been over a week without the money and I need to pay my rent so rang them today asking for an update. They said they will chase dhl and get back to me which they haven't. I have had to result to getting legal advice as they are holding my money as hostage due to the inabilities of dhl. Just go to your local shop, shipping items that expensive cheaply is a recipe for disaster.
