Geeks on Wheels are a mobile computer support and repair task force. We travel to your home or office to fix troublesome computers and help solve your computer problems. We have staff based in Auckland, Hamilton, Cambridge, Tauranga, New Plymouth, Kapiti Coast, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.

Here at Geeks on Wheels, we have have spent more than a decade assisting New Zealanders with their IT needs – we take the stress and frustration out of computer repair and malware removal, so you can enjoy your laptop or computer as you are meant to.

“Despite the Covid-19 lockdown - which I expect has increased demand - the service response was quick, the advice was good (fixed the problem), as was the assurance that further help was available should the fix not work. Well done, Geeks on Wheels”

“Had a problem due to downloading Catalina on Mac. Aarmon helped me with the decision on os platform and sorted out sound and printer issues. After that aswe had time left on the hour he did a health check and optimised the computer. Really great service would not go anywhere else now”

“Vaughn did a great job on working out quickly what the problems were .. he was very thorough and knowledgeable. He not only fixed the problems, but did a full diagnostic check on the whole computer and did updates and clean ups which has given my lap top a "new lease on life"!!”

We do our best to keep our prices at a fair and reasonable level, devices purchased through us include a free 2-year warranty, antivirus cover for the first year, 3 months free access to our Geek Helpline Remote support desk and a clean install of Windows to remove all manufacturer bloatware - all at no additional charge. “This was somewhat frustrating for both of us. The check up of the Adata Time Machine just went on and on and after quite a bit of time it stalled The solution took a while to sort. I think Tim did his best to do this. I had suggested early that the amount of space in my computer’s hd might be the problem. Tim deleted some apps and files to increase the capacity. He deleted the files in the Time Machine. Finally it worked. It was a bit frustrating and time consuming to work out how to fix the issue. But I appreciated his perseverance.”

“Justin did the job for me very efficiently(instalation of new and more powerful extenders) Nice to sit back and watch it all happen for me. The cost was well worth the piece of mind for someone like me who freaks out where technology is concerned. Justin was very welcome. Thank you Justin.”

“I have used Geeks on Wheels several times now and have continued to use them because I know they have built up a bank of notes about our home system, requirements etc and because I know that 1 hour is more than sufficient to set up my laptop. Unfortunately, the guy I had last time has left (he was fabulous). The person today was pleasant but incredibly slow and I had to remind him several times to refer back to the notes that the previous person had made. The same set-up of laptop service that I have used 3 or 4 times now that has always taken under 1 hour, today took 1 hour 40 minutes. I expressed my unhappiness with paying the extra and (after the service person consulted with his manager) this was reduced to 1 hour 15 minutes. Unfortunately, I will not be using your service again.”
