“One out 2 pairs of shoes AI had ordered arrived. Customer service atrocious when I queried where the other pair were 3 weeks later. Never received shoes.”
“This is my second bad experience with the Geox online shop after about four or five years. I want to return an order item. This turns out to be a complicated, cumbersome process: the instructions are extensive and complicated, the link to initiate the return process can only be found at 3rd glance. And then comes the hammer: I first have to create a "MyGeox account" and enter personal data there that goes far beyond the information needed to process the return. All I need to do is print out or send a postage-free return label. All the online senders I know already enclose such a return label with their delivery. Here, however, you have to submit a "return request" after you have left additional personal data free of charge.
Because I'm not prepared to do that, I'm not going to get a refund via the phone. Hotline.
Geox -- the worst online sender I know of. Improvements in customer orientation are not visible to me after five years.”
“wore the boots on an evening out as as soon as I left the house the zips at the back just fell down. I would pull them up and as I walked they would come down again. The zips are quite big so I’m assuming it’s a design fault.
I bought the boots back and explained to the manager in the store they were faulty. She said “sorry we can’t give you a refund” i challenged her response and she rudely said that’s just the way it is and if I don’t like it I should call customer services. I asked for the number and she said it’s on the website. No help, so unfriendly. I then called the number and a recorded message said I would be charged for the call by the minute. I then came off my mobile and asked the manager if she would call as I would be charged. She laughed and said “ we are not going to pay you for you contacting us “ I was shocked.
I understood that if goods are faulty I am by law covered by the consumer act. I explained this and said it’s not something she can help with. I demanded that she help so then finally called the number. She came off the phone and said sorry they are closed - it’s an Italian holiday.
I asked for a refund again and was told sorry we don’t give refunds. I left the store and immediately called my bank.”
