“Easy to use website with lots of good activities. We used for tickets to the szechenyi thermal baths in Budapest. We also had to cancel another activity we had booked and the refund was in our account the next day. Would definitely use again.”
“Unfortunately incompetence is rife these days, and GetYourGuide is definitely a place where it festers. Do your research, and carefully check what you request or pay for. We are talking borderline scam here, and you do not want to be dealing with this when on your holiday… entry gate, boarding a train, or worse etc.

“Horrific experience with Get Your Guide, GoGoDay travel and C trip, Japan. We booked a Get Your Guide day trip from Osaka on our recent trip to Japan. April 10 2023. Get Your Guide assigned us to their supplier GoGoDay travel who assigned us to a third party called C trip.
The day started with wet seats in the bus on a cold day and our tour guide had no briefing for the tour of the day.
When asked after almost an hour that what are we doing for the day, can you explain us more on the history of the places we are visiting today - the guide was unable to even pronounce those names correctly.
We paid extra for a guided tour in English and turns out 'Peter' our guide was not well versed in either English or Japanese. He was struggling to communicate with us and had no idea about any information on the places we were going to visit.
He constantly kept checking with the driver what, when, where types of information. After wasting half of our day, he took us to a train station in Arashiyama where the tickets were sold out for the day. He got another group with him, excluding us, who already had booked tickets in advance for the same. We were not told about it in the morning when we started otherwise we would have booked online or figured out an alternative.
Then the driver, the useless guide and rest of their group leaves us at the train station to use our time at our own efforts. We were so done with them after wasting most of the time of our day that we just walked out and managed last few hours on our own.
When complained on the whole episode to Get Your Guide, they refunded just a petty amount of the huge chunk of the money we paid for 3 people.
It was a huge disappointment to rely on Get Your Guide on a foreign land, it wasted our 1 whole day, we had to manage without a guide, excursions and second half transport with a child. The least we expected from Get Your Guide was a full refund.
I will never book any tours from them, neither will suggest anyone to use their services. They are hot reliable. GoGoDay and C trip Japan sucks with foreign travellers other than their own nationals.”

“I purchased the River walk boat ride ahead of time,when it came to the day to.use my pre-paid vouchers, I wad told by staff they were not any good & I needed to purchase new vouchers, and to contact GetYourGuide to receive a refund, which I did do,they replied saying no refunds, long story, At the end of the day I'm out $82.

“Family trip planned to Mr.Fuji. Morning of trip (5:30am) I texted company to ensure we would still be traveling, response sent back was ‘Yes, arrive at 7:50am meeting spot’.
Okay arrived in DOWN POUR and WIND GUSTS….SOAKING WET. Traveled in an air- conditioned atmosphere for an hour to find out our trip to Mt.Fuji was cancelled. Then other parts of the trip was cancelled because of fog and wind. Those are the kinds of pictures I have from this trip FOG! Why would you, as a company continue a planned trip if you KNOW in advance that it’s not possible to be able to see the main attraction? That’s my biggest beef….I was proactive in my approach with them. GREED, SCAM, Don’t waste your money!

Today I was supposed to be picked up by 4:30pm by Tallys Tours in Las Vegas for red rock cayon tour and received an email at 4:34pm saying it’s been cancelled. Send notice in advance so people don’t waste their precious time while traveling! The company needs to come up with the better policies to protect the customers…..”

“Absolutely shocking customer service. We booked a meditate with horses experience through get your guide, we drove 45 minutes to be there and the provider did not show up. I tried to call, facebook message and contact the provider via the chat on their website...nothing, everything was off. I had to chase get your guide for 5 days to get my refund. I asked them very specific questions which they completed avoided, they said it is the providers fault but can give no evidence or actual explanation. I'm pretty convinced the provider didn't even know they had a booking or they've allowed a scammed to set up a profile on their platform. They've offered nothing to compensate my time lost and all the stress the situation caused. I seriously question their vetting procedures and will never ever use get your guide again.”
“A total SCAM. My party of four booked tickets for the Alhambra Palace in Granada and traveled from the UK to see it. Hen we arrived we were told that our tickets had been cancelled by GetYourGuide. GetYourGuide have not informed us. Apparently the tickets were cancelled the day before because of overbooking by the company. We were not the only people let down the venue told us they had had people arriving all morning just to be told their tickets had been cancelled. further more we have NOT received a refund. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BOOK WITH A RELIABLE COMPANY or direct with the Alhambra.”

“Arnaque, get your guide ne m’a pas envoyé les tickets, il y avait écrit sur l appli “wait, your tickets will appear here” , finalement lorsque j ai signalé le problème et demandé à obtenir les tickets, ils ont simplement annulé ma réservation. Comme j avais effectué cette réservation un mois a l’avance, je n’ai pas pu retrouver d autre places pour le Vatican. Get your guide vends les billets 80 euro en last minute… contre 30 euros en avance. Ils n ont fait aucun geste commercial et ne m ont pas remplacé les places alors qu’ils en avaient sur le site . Bref à fuir , arnaque et pas de service client . Je n’ai pas pu voir La Chapelle sixtine lors de mon voyage à Rome à cause de ce tour opérateur”
