“I did not receive what I ordered. I ordered 4 x 250ml shampoos as this order was for several individuals. I received 1 bottle of 1ltr of shampoo with cello tape keeping the lid on!”

“I ordered an item on 6th December and still haven’t received it. I chased them and similar to other stories on here , they said there are delivery problems but I’d get it in the next few days . It’s not arrived and I can’t get them to reply to me - I’m now going to see if I can get my money back via my credit card company I’d suggest you stay away, don’t be fooled by their cheaper prices, go for a reputable company that will actually deliver your product.”

“A scam shop. Do not use! I placed an order which never arrived but the company took my money. It took over 9 weeks, many emails and attempted phone calls to get a refund. Many times I was promised someone would look into it but would never get a response. This looks like a common problem with gooseberry looking at other review sites. This site (reviews.co.uk) is a paid for review site which requires a company to send review requests to all customers who place an order, obviously gooseberry are just picking and choosing who to send them to to create biased reviews, so I had to request one. I have reported them to trading standards and suggest you do too if you're reading this as you've been scammed too. The worst online shopping experience I've ever had.”

“Gooseberry shop DO NOT USE THEM I have never ever left a negative review BUT I don't have choice this time around as I do not want anyone else to have to order anything from such a company! Gooseberry shop takes money for good that they never send out and just mess around with you! I never thought a company that have UK address can be so dodgy! I ordered some good from Gooseberry’s website on 4 October. According to the information on their website I was supposed to receive the goods I ordered within 8 working days HOWEVER instead or received the goods I paid for, I received an email saying that there were some delays and my order will be with me in a few days. So I waited a few days and NOTHING … since the first email I sent on 15 Oct we have exchanged over 30 email! Gooseberry shop had promised number of times that they will send my order and I will receive my goods by the end of the week … 6 weeks later NOTHING. The address on the website is Nottingham NG3 5QR and this is the only reason I ordered from them! I finally had to cancel my order last Friday on 15 Nov. Now almost a week later they have not refunded my money. Since 4 October I tried to phone them but they never answer the phone. I am truly baffled by all the stellar reviews on their page! These must be friends, paid reviewers or simple people who lucked out with Gooseberry. If they don't send you an email and you wish to leave a review please contact support@reviews.co.uk. Also they have really bad rating on https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.gooseberrysalon.com Please do not make the same mistake and do not ever use them! This company is obviously not fit to operate in the UK!!!”

“I wish I had read the reviews before making an order I've been waiting since 6th Dec 2019. Was promised a refund in January, nothing to date this "company" is nothing short of fraudsters. I'll be informing Trading Standards and the rest!”

“If I could give zero stars I would ordered product over 2 weeks ago never arrived contacted them several times fobbed off repeatedly no straight answers and no product and no refund now contacting PayPal for refund worst customer service I’ve experienced in years”

“Please dont order anything from them!!! I ordered some products on the 25th of December. Obviously they didn't sent me anything and on the 15th of January I emailed them. They said that they will send me the products within one week! They didn't so I decided to ask for a refund. They said that they will refund me in 3- 10 working days but obviously I'm still waiting for my money.”

“I placed an order on 31st December, it’s now 23rd Feb and still no product. In January contacted several times, told the order was delayed due to the delivery company, the. told it was dispatched but no dispatch no and they’d check and come back to me, then I asked for owners email address, ignored. A week later I asked where the order is again and was given the exact same message that it was a problem with the delivery tracker no. Then told again it was problems with courier. Still no order and now I’m just being ignored. Avoid this company at all costs!!!”

“I placed my order on 5 January 2020. On 20 January 2020 I was told the order would be within me "within a week". When I still hadn't received them "within a week", I was told on 6 February 2020 that they'd be sent out to me "tomorrow". On 7 February 2020 they said they would send me a confirmation when the order was on its way (having said the previous day that they'd be sent on the 7th). On 10 February 2020 I received a text saying that my order has been shipped. On 19 February 2020 I sent a message asking when I could expect to receive the delivery. I have heard nothing since. I await your response. It makes me question if your 'reviews' are bona fide.”

“Worst possible customer service I have ever experienced. No one returns calls; no follow up with fake Hermes delivery advice. Do not use this company. All good reviews are false. I am reporting then to the Trading Standards Authority.”

“It’s a CON. They take your money and you will never receive your goods. Call your bank if you have fallen prey to them a launch a dispute for a refund.”
