Very poor service car was recovered by third party company who Green flag employ and was damaged taking to the dealership. Green flag then create issues with their procedure on accountability no hire car and me left transport while they look into things …joke utter joke

Contacted Green Flag at 2.23 pm regarding my vehicle would not start. I was given a time of between 4.30 to 6.60 pm. !! After 6.30 pm I contacted the garage company assigned to me to ask where they were and was told it would be another half an hour at which point I cancelled as i was not going to be in,and reappointed for the Sunday morning between the hour of 9am to 11am. No update from the garage at this time (8.45) Terrible service so far. And no contact from Green Flag either.Appalling service.

Joined Green Flag a month ago after a big issue with the the AA after 33 years membership ! I had a flat battery and called Green Flag. The call was answered within 20 seconds and was told a mechanic would be with me within 90 minute but arrive 30 minutes later sorted the problem and was friendly. 1/3 the price of the AA and the service was just as good !

I have been trying to cancel my policy for THREE YEARS (I don't have a car anymore) and they keep taking the money out of my account against my permission. Crooks. I ring up, HOURS on hold, no email address to contact they by and then they say they have cancelled the policy then they renew it and take the money again the following year.

This is my review from trustpilot, posted Friday 4th 2021. Friday 4th. Called Green flag to rescue my wife and I from the M25, we called them at 15:35, at a little after 17:00 we got picked up and moved off the motorway, but to my horror we weren't returned home but left at a BP garage down the road, which I was then told another rescue vehicle would take us home, this vehicle was then cancelled without me knowing, after several phone calls I eventually got home at 23:00. Nearly 8 hours, a dozen phone calls and little to no communication. I WILL BE COMPLAINING AND TAKING THIS FURHER. I have family cover for reassurance and peace of mind that we would always get home, this will be cancelled just after I've complained and let the whole world know just how bad I've been treated. NEVER USE GREEN FLAG unless you want to be stranded.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was Left for 6 hours at the side of the road with a disabled member of staff. Repeatedly given false information. Lost £14000 worth of work and had to cover £250 per day of staff wages for the four days that had to be cancelled because I wasn’t recovered. First person arrived after4 hours with no tools, took photos of the car and then left. Made no attempt to identify the problem. They contacted me 2 days later and offered me £50 compensation. That made me even angrier.

Customer service with this company is abysmal. Its been a catalogue of errors and incompetence over the last few week after trying to change my contact details, something that you think would have been simple but not with green flag. I eventually put a complaint in. Received email saying someone would contact me..... nobody did. Chased the complaint up twice to which I was told that the person dealing with it would contact me..... Guess what.... NOBODY HAS. What a complete waste of time of a company. Will not be using them again. I will pay good money to a company that actually knows what they are doing but unfortunately these do not.

So my daughter is named on the policy and she borrowed my wife’s car who is named on the policy . Green Flag refused to offer assistance and I had a complaint upheld but I was advised that I could cancel my policy back dated to the date of incident. Do not trust Green Flag . They refused help to a vulnerable woman and lied as they will not back date fees so they lie, treat customers unfairly and fail to provide assistance . Use at you own risk.

I was 15 miles from home going on a 100 mile journey. My car started to lose power & a whining noise started. Phoned Green Flag, they told me I would have about 1 & a half hour wait. Recovery truck arrived an hour later. Driver very courteous, looked at my engine & thought it might be the water pump. Took me & my daughter & granddaughter back home where we were able to start our journey again in her car. Driver also told me that they would take my car to my chosen garage after the Christmas holidays when garage is open again. Brilliant service.

To change a tire with a rusty bolt took over 5 hrs and, once they had wiggled out of responsibility at 6pm on a Sunday cost my a fortune to get fixed

Waiting 3 hours today for Ri ford to come to jump start my car. It will take them 2 minutes to do that. Tried to ring Richford motors and they cut me off. I strongly do not recommend their services after they sent a text saying they would be here 2 hours ago. Still no sign

Waited 5 hours for a recovery due to tire puncture we kept ringing the but was fobbed of with different messages absolutely disgusting service avoid at all cost we are over 70 years old and left on side of road arrived too late to get to garage in minus 1 conditions

I've given 1 star because that is the lowest I can give.I renewed my policy for another year up to 2024 the letter kept coming back with the wrong date 2023.After many phone calls it was still coming back with the wrong date,another has just arrived...wrong date again.I will never use Greenland again ,i'm going back to RAC

I broke down in York at 2pm after a long struggle we finally got took to a safe location and got a car home 6 hours later. It was a Sunday, so I was expecting a delay. They said they couldn't take my car home that day due to it been a Sunday. It is now Thursday and I've rang 3x to see what is happening with my car. I still don't know when I will get it. I have 3 children who need to be taken to school and a disabled mum who needs to attend appointments this week. I haven't been offered a car to have in the gap or any compensation. I am very stressed and will never go with green flag again! I never thought I would have any problems.

Had to call out Green Flag 2 days ago, recovery vehicle, was constantly delayed ended up waiting 7 hours, phone operators repeatedly promised. times only to change them just before collection was due. Truly awful customer service, would not recommend them to anyone, will go to AA or RAC when contract ends.

Please don’t bother taking out a national coverage breakdown policy with Green Flag. It doesn’t exist. I broke down in Cornwall on my way to Northampton and they said they couldn’t do anything for the next 2 weeks leaving me stranded. What a joke. Now I want my money back. It’s a con and so are Green Flag. The one time you need them is the one time they let you down.

10am 21 Oct 2022. The car would start after being parked on the hospital car park for 45 mins. Rang Green Flag. Someon will with you by 11am. Apprx 10.40am local breakdown service arrived. the car needed transporting to a garage. 11am Driver(name available) said he would arrange it and the garage would ring me 15/20mins before arrival so I could go for a walk. 12.10pm I rang GF. Breakdown firm said I should have rung to arrange pickup. Lies! Pickup would be now 1pm. Pickup arrived approx. 2pm. Terrible service. A similar breakdown on 8 August 2022. Brokedown 12 noon. Much lies and inefficency. Recovered at 6pm. 95 degrees heatwave. At 83yrs I don't need it.

THEY HAVE MADE ME WAIT 10 HOURS BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY ARE SENDING OUT A HIGHLIFT AND THEY HAVE SENT OUT A FLAT BED AFTER 10 HOURS. FALSE AFTER FALSE DO NOT TRUST THEM PAY EXTRA AND BUY AA OR RAC YOU WILL HAVE THAT PIECE OF MIND

Theft from our account Purchased a new car covered by the supplier for breakdown , so cancelled Greenflag - all in order until they decided to take £89. 60 from our account 6 months later , this was from my Credit card clearly they had kept the 3 code security number .Disgraceful theft from my account , it would be usual to ask if I wished to renew , but nothing . Have now sent them 8 e.mails - filled in three forms on their site , wrote to their HO twice , all I received was 3 phone texts with a number on them meaning nothing to us . Tried to phone them but they are so so very very busy , I sat so long waiting for a reply I had to give up, - they have all my details but never bother to contact me , one message asked me to click in a link , up came Facebook , what I was suppose to with that I have no idea . In January they refunded me £66 , I am aware that the balance is not a lot , but this principle is for all to see , that they do what they want and refuse to make contact or deal with this issue in a business like manner . Will never use them again .
