About Hamseys:

Hamseys has worked hard to become one of the most trusted suppliers of beds, mattresses and furniture in the South East of England.
We are proud to say we have more than 50 years of experience, and have used that time to better understand the needs of our customers and how to meet them. As a result, we have served generations of customers. Quite a few have never slept on anything but a Hamseys mattress, and we hope they never have to!
Though we’ve expanded our product range to include hundreds of beds, mattresses and other types of furniture and boast 4 store locations throughout the South East, we haven’t forgotten our roots. We still operate out of our Crawley warehouse complex, and offer the same high quality and award-winning customer service which made us what we are today. We also have branches in Wallington, Beckenham and Leatherhead.
One of the things which sets us apart in this industry is that Hamseys owns and operates our own fleet of efficient, reliable delivery vehicles. This allows us to give you better service, and to guarantee reliable, professional, and convenient delivery for all of the products we sell, in-store and now online!

Great service from hamseys, start to finish. My mattress that was estimated at 1-2 weeks Was ready for delivery within 3 days. (Very happy) dreams quoted 6-8 weeks and was almost double the price for the same style mattress. I look forward to getting into bed every night.. it’s so cosy. Zzzz Super helpful and fast delivery on there mattresses. I’ll never shop anywhere else when I need a bed. Thanks hamseys

Recently visited the crawley branch , good selection of mattresses to choose from and some great clearance frames , I managed to get both my new mattress and frame from the same place and delivered next day . Great service and reasonably priced .

I visited the Leatherhead Hamseys last week with my husband…. We were greeted by Mike, he’s was so helpful and knowledgeable about all the mattresses etc, he really made sure we got the best mattress for us. We have bought a lovely superking mattress and the deal we got was amazing. Thank you Mike 🙂 happy customers!

Popped into the Wallington store looking for a new mattress. Great selection and very helpful staff. Found a good valued mattress which was delivered the next day.

After being recommended to you ,we visited your store for the first time and ended up buying a super king size Matress ,2 luxury pillows , a double bed base/head board and a double Matress . To say we’re thrilled with our beds ( and their prices ) would be an understatement ! Very happy with the friendly service we received .

I ordered a divan, headboard and mattress. Was told by salesman called Andy it would be ready in four weeks. I am still waiting for a call from Hamseys for delivery date it has been six weeks and no communication even after leaving messages. They are happy to take your money. Next plan of action will be watchdog and trading standards.

Sell damaged beds, bad quality and mattresses poor quality. They refuse refunds or returns under the consumer rights act I will be taking to court and reporting to trading standards

I bought a bed back in May and received a few weeks ago, the bed head and base had slight damage. I know these things happen, but after multiple phone calls, voicemails, and emails not one person has the courtesy of getting in contact with me in regards to this. Not ideal customer service I would expect.

The worst bedroom furniture I have ever purchased. I ordered the Birlea Urban range in an 8 drawer chest and 3 door wardrobe. The fronts fell off the drawers within 2 months, obviously past the refund or exchange stage. It's like they know their products won't last that long! Nothing lines up, the holes or marks aren't where they should be. Stay away, badly made, shoddy products.

I ordered a divan and mattress from them online , I was told it would be a 7 to 10 day wait for delivery due to Covid 19 , ok no problem thats fine HOWEVER 21 days later I'm still waiting ! I was told on Tuesday my bed would be delivered today so I took a day off as a frontline Care worker this took some jiggling only to receive an e mail this morning gone 9am telling me they had made a mistake ! I got up at 7am to dismantle my old bed so now i need to reassemble it again to avoid having to sleep on the floor !! I am now waiting for a new delivery date as I'm not off work again for a couple of days , in way of a good will gesture they offered me a free pillow !! My advice would be spend your money elsewhere...go to Bensons or Dreams avoid dealing with Hamseys POOR POOR service , Covid 19 or not !

Hamseys how can you get it so wrong, having bought all of our beds from you over the years this will be the last. Ordered an ottoman storage bed and on delivery the two sides of the bed did not match.Another day off and the replacement is to to be delivered but this time they haven't even managed to get to sides of the same bed in the delivery van where is your quality check we were already unhappy customers and you can't even put the problem right.

Went in to look for a bed and the salesman really pushed the sale by offering both £100 off the mattress if we bought the bed frame and matress together, free assembly and they offered to hold it for us free of charge until we needed it. It was delivered today and the bed frame was split. Initially the delivery men were not even aware that they also had to fit it. We phoned the store and went into the store and all they could say is that there isn't much they could do other than order a new one and hope that it is delivered on Tuesday. I asked for a partial refund for the inconvenience they had caused us and the manager said that they do not have to offer a refund for this type of error. Absolutely disgusted by the poor service and their ability to fix the issue immediately with definite certainty of when we will actually receive the new bed.
