“Very disappointed. The best parts were SOME of the one-on-one coaching sessions, but very few are available/included and the cost. The videos are just you reading along (a poorly created PowerPoint presentation if pages of words) with what the presenter is saying. Virtually no graphics (there are very few in the last portion of the course), typos, etc. Very unprofessional presentation. They have even "updated" some of the voice over, without changing the typed version of the information that you're reading along with. Information you can get about any place with your own research. You're expected to practice work with other students instead of someone that is qualified to be a teacher or even someone to monitor your practice with other students and guide you. They really do not accentuate the definition of scope of practice either. I saw on private Facebook pages for students people that are still students or who had just completed the course trying to guide people through very obvious medical situations. These student "coaches" were/are totally out of their scope of practice with this course only as a guide. Also, there's a very hard leaning to New Age beliefs and practices. Another frustration was that it's virtually impossible to get to a human for any help with technical issues, course questions, etc. And except for a very limited number of one-on-one coaching sessions for yourself about the coursework, you really only have your student body to rely on for help, information, etc. For someone looking to make this their life's work, I would not recommend HCI.”

“I am so pleased with the support I received not only while doing my health and life coaching courses but after. The community really helps you to stay motivated once your quailfied. I still feel I can ask questions and I’m constantly learning. Highly recommend for quality course information that was life changing to me and other people who I coach. I still have continuous access to a community and Hci coaches who have the same vision and mission. We help each other. Well worth investing!”

“Health Coaching - I must say that this "survey" is a bit confusing. What is the aim? Having finished the BHC and Mastery portions, I can say that I love the skills being offered. The rigor of the program is good as well. I am also pleased about the addition of Bill Baren's presence regarding the business aspects. My frustrations with HCI center around the difficulties with the dashboard and not being able to find certain things. It is hard to ask for what is not appearing when one does not know that they are missing it until a classmate tells us about it.”

“Resources are wonderful. Marketing/website & business should be presented sooner. Glitches and typos were surprising and lowered the quality. Releasing sessions sooner than weekly would be helpful for those who want to learn and implement as a business, it’s hard to have a good flow in a week gap.”

“I enrolled in the BHC and BLC program in March, 2018. When I look at how my life, and my family life, have changed it’s absolutely mind blowing. We are all happier, healthier, and more balanced. My husband and I have both lost weight and gained energy, patience, and passion for our beautiful life. I am so thankful we found HCI!!”

“I loved every moment of the BHC program. I would eagerly await for the lesson of the week to arrive on my dashboard and then dig in until I was complete. I've learned SO MUCH! It has been transformational. I've changed and now my relationships and other areas of my life have also improved. The paradigm "how you do one thing is how you do everything" has so much truth to it. Changes we make in ourselves has a cool ripple effect that affects all other areas of our lives!”

“I am a RN and work for a large insurance company. I completed the health coach certification in November and really enjoyed the program and format. I haven’t complete the life coaching portion yet because I work a 60 hour work week and my current employer is requiring me to complete a Case Managemwnt Certification which I will complete this coming April. It is my intention to complete the life coaching component at that time and then start the mastery program. I have found what I learned in your program to be very helpful in my current job and would highly recommend it. A side bonus was that you make learning fun!!! thanks for all you do and keep up the great work!!!”

“My review is for the Health Coaching program only. This was a fantastic program that provides a foundation to start health coaching. Over the six months, you are given an introduction to many different facets of coaching, including a 90 day program to deliver to clients. Everything is done for you, and you finish with a basic understanding and ability to coach. The amount you get out of the program is what you put into it. The more practice you get, the more competent you will feel while coaching. They teach a framework, but it's up to the students to apply it in their practice and to refine it.”
