The experience was OK got a bit complicated being as its my first time looking for insurance and having to seal with a broker then trying to find my insurance certificate I was looking on the brokers sight so was panicking weath I was insured or not then realised I was not dealing with hedgehog so went on that sight and very easy and straight forward there

This would have been rated as very good but unfortunately I am still waiting for the policy documents to arrive in the post as I requested!!!

Apart from Jack who helped resolve issues, I have been struggling with hedgehog. Emails asking for things, replying to them and then they claimed I never replied even with proof I had. I then went on online chat (because they don't have a number to call) and tried to sort it. Gave all the details, then they asked for some of the same information again. So had to go to online chat again to sort it out. Happy with jacks help, just wish they could make the whole process a bit easier.

I find it’s always better to have a chat with employees at company’s that you purchasing a service from as I had an issue with buying online earlier and tried to find a contact number to resolve it but there were no numbers available. That was quite frustrating.

My Hedgehog experience was OK, even though the price quoted to me via Compare the Market was slightly more expensive when I opened the link to view their quote on their website for no apparent reason... I just hope that if something happens concerning my car they will be fast and reliable to respond and sort out any issues I face.

As we are a fully online based insurer, we don't have an inbound call centre - this way we can keep our prices lower for you, our customer 😁 We definitely get sometimes you just need to talk to someone, even just to double-check something small! 🀳 This is why we have our customer service team available on chat Monday - Friday: 9 am - 5:30 pm. Service would be better if you could actually speak to a person rather than use the online chat. As it is incredibley time consuming and frustrating having to text or type when you have a query and I cannot always get online access. As a result I will not be using their service again. However, the premium was reasonable and as I never made a claim I cannot comment.

Don't like the automated out of hours service. The responses work in a way that made me very frustrated and irritable.
