They have excellent reviews but I'm a bit suspicious that they use a credit agency for financing the monthly payments. I also can't view any of the online documents in my account. I'll reserve my judgement until such time that I need to call and talk to them or make a claim - Obviously I hope this won't happen!

Not had a chance to see how they perform yet as just purchased it. Always tricky with no phone numbers to ask questions, took a while to get an answer re something on the quote via online customer service.. Competitive price, hoping all will be fine if I need to claim.

Hi Jane, We don't offer telephone support but you can speak to one of our customer service agents 9am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday. They will respond in seconds, and it is a lot quicker than being on hold we promise. We have a 24x7 claimslines if you were ever in the unfortunate position that you needed to claim. Hope this helps. Great competitive price, but was only given the option to pay in full. When i asked why, I was just told that hedgehog insurance provider would not permit and a reason was not given. Not the greatest. But overall good for the price. đź‘Ť

Hedgehog is a competitive car insurance company, HOWEVER.. when taking out insurance i was asked for proof of address which has never been asked of me from any of my previous insurers whatsoever, felt slightly interrogated but worked out in the end. Best quote on the market so far!

Simply click into all your documents once logged in. If you would like paper documents, please let us know via our live chat system over on our website and we will be more than happy to do that for you. I got my car on Friday but wasn’t able to contact anyone to insure my new car as no one was available I wasn’t aware I could sign in a change myself. Plus I had issues with cars as I was scammed with a Broken car I had to then pay a second fee from you guys to change it to another car.so I payed 3 times with you guys so not happy one bit.

We do apply a fee to make changes as this covers the cost of allowing a person to make changes, update and even cancel their policy fully online. I recieved a credit agreement without Hedgehog mentioned as the company so this was an inconvenience while resolving before signing the agreement.

Good quick cover however after providing valid proof of no claims from my previous insurer I've been pestered for more information that isn't necessary

When l change my number plates a day after. there wanted ÂŁ30 of me. I talk to someone in hedgehog and after a short chat he did not change me. Was not happy.

Would have been a 5 but due to a claim ongoing (non fault) the price went up by ÂŁ200. I have been advised that once the claim is settled I can have the insurance required but it won't be back dated to the water date just the date the claim is settled. (This could be months as I have ongoing injuries)
