roof sheets can contain sprayed asbestos, and your quiz says it doesn't. Also, you need to train you employees to work with ACM's aswell as complete a risk assessment, the question doesn't say which do you do first it says what should you do before starting work!!

Hi Harry, thank you for taking the time to leave your review and feedback! I just wanted to clear up any confusion on the questions! In regards to sprayed asbestos, the question was “'Sprayed asbestos was used for….? “ Roofing sheets are made of one type of asbestos and can then be coated in sprayed asbestos. We put this as an incorrect answer option because what we are asking is what is made out of sprayed asbestos, rather than what is then covered in sprayed asbestos. However, I understand why this may have caused confusion so our Content Department will remove 'roofing sheets' as an option and replace it with 'textiles and upholstery'. In regards to the second question you raised, it is true that all staff will need to be appropriately trained to ensure they understand how to work to avoid asbestos and what to do if they accidently disturb asbestos. However, it is not true that all staff members will need to be trained in 'working with' asbestos. This is an awareness level training course, and people who only take this course should not be 'working with' asbestos or carrying our any work that will disturb ACMs - as this requires further, more advanced training. Therefore, the correct answer to this question is undertaking a risk assessment, this is to ensure that they are aware of the risks and can put measures in place to manage the risks of exposure and ensure that any asbestos is not disturbed. It was fine until I logged out for a couple of days and when I returned I had to start the course from the beginning wasting several hours of my time.

Hi John, thank you for your review and feedback! All the course progress is recorded and saved in real time so that if you ever log out or you lose connection, you will always be taken back to where you last left off and this way, progress will never be lost. I had a look into this for you and can see that you had purchased 2 courses. It looks like you logged into one account and then when you logged out, you logged back into a completely different account where the course hadn’t been started which will explain why you started from the beginning. A. Umber of slides do not reference the updated 5th EU directive from Jan 2020 but reference the older 4th directive so are out of date

The voice over was incomplete, missing out the first part of words. It was extremely off-putting. The voice in general sounded very automated and hard to listen to. As someone who has English as a second language, I found it unhelpful and some of the videos slightly confusing. The video on moving a box telling you not to twist your body, but with some of the sound cut out while the woman was twisting her body is an example.

Unhappy about this one. There was no audio nor video clips. Not an interactive course, simply a few pages of written instructions to read with a test at the end. The content itself was also limited. Not worth £30. Hope this time to get my certificate into a hardback envelope.

I can see that the card details were entered incorrectly upon purchase which will have been why the system rejected the details. I really loathe text doled out bit by bit. The fast setting was frustratingly slower than my reading speed. Put me in a very unreceptive mood.

"High Speed" is a misnomer. I don't read fast, but the update of the content on the slides was slower than my reading speed, even at the fastest setting. This made reading and comprehending the content more difficult. Not a platform I would recommend.

A question in the final test was "what extinguisher can be used to put out an electrical fire" I answered powder and this was incorrect?

Hi David. Sorry to hear that you didn't think our Fire Safety Awareness course was up to the expected standard. On the question you have mentioned, Carbon dioxide extinguishers are considered more suitable than powder extinguishers for dealing with electrical fires, as only multi-purpose powder extinguishers can deal with electrical fires and even then, they run the risk of damaging the electrical equipment. I have forwarded this on to the relevant team to take a look at the wording of the question to make sure it is clear to others who take the course.
