I love shopping at hobby lobby. However, bring back the 40% off coupon because if something is not on sale then I have to wait to get it but with the coupon I could go ahead and get it.

I love the merchandise, however after shopping for many years, I find the managers are very unfriendly, the one presently in Janesville is VERY unfriendly and cold. Unfortunate, this is suppose to be a Christian based store, and now things are getting greedy, they no longer offer the 40 percent coupon... and not even a senior discount, a multi million dollar industry and they are taking away more. Michael’s, the other craft store is the only one to offer to seniors, which I will be going to a LOT more. Give your people customer service classes and if your managers keep up their demeanor, get rid of them and replace with helpful, friendly people

Beautiful items, however the Janesville store has the most rudest manager , middle age man, unfriendly, avoids customers, never says hello, and should NEVER have that job in a so called Christian store, he is awful and you need to get rid of him and put him in a kitchen cooking burgers

Employees seemed overworked. A little short tempered. Also...I have seen gas station restrooms cleaner. Floor behind toilets was caked with dirt. (Kalispell Montana)..

Online refunds do not cover shipping!!!! If you return to store you only get store credit!! Dont buy from here!!! Walmart is more customer friendly!!!

I recently ordered 4 furniture pieces from Hobby Lobby. Set up pick up truck to carry 3 one was on order. 1 piece missing when i got there so had to wait. When it came it was damaged so had to reorder. Yet another trip for pickup for missing piece. Went to pick up piece that was damaged that they reordered. Went back the wrong piece was ordered. So here im waiting again. In the meantime manager offered me 10% extra on last 3 pieces ordered. Picked up 2 because now last piece was out of stock. Yet another trip. Called Round Lake Beach & they had the last piece but would not honor 10%. This whole process was really disappointing & stressful. The staff themselves were polite enough but what a mess with this whole order. Very upset customer!!

First of all, I love many, many of the products in the Hobby Lobby stores! I’m a regular customer! However, the website SUCKS! I need something like a 4x6 gold color picture frame or a green candle-I cannot type in either into the search box and quickly find the correct size or color. The searches are way too specific and I end up ordering from another business. The online site for Hobby Lobby is one of the MOST user-unfriendly on the internet-it really needs to be fixed!!!

Good selection, good store ... BUT, now a pandemic. Was in the parking lot collecting to go food and watched the HobbyLobby. People coming & going without a care on Sat 3/21 when other stores are closed. There's nothing in hobby lobby we can't live without for a few weeks and with a 4billion a year revenue, HobbyLobby can afford to show more concern at this time for customers and employees. The appearance is the almighty dollar is th Almighy to hobby lobby. Losing respect. Do the right thing.

During regular circumstances, great store. Pandemic situation - what is wrong with you!! Was at the parking lot for take out food and watched folks wandering in & out of HobbyLobby. Not much concern for your employees or customers. Your revenue is like 4Billion or more a year. There is nothing in your stores we can't live without for a few weeks. You can afford to close for a reasonable time period - apparently the almighty dollar is actually the Almighty for you. Your company is a disappointment and sets a bad example.

Great stores. Great selections. But, it seems you offer next to nothing made in America. Support THIS country, not Malaysia, India, etc.

I usually like hobby lobby, I love their crafting products I really like all of the cute items that they have in their store. I have bought a lot of material in there and I bought some this week to upholster a set of dining chairs and the material turned out to be faded in a lot of places and I covered a couple of chairs in the light material and you can totally see the difference. I checked cushions back in to show them the difference and the whole matter of it is even if it was on clearance they should warn people that there is no guarantee that the material is good. She pointed out that the material was on clearance and that was probably the reason that it had been marked down. I think that if they are going to sell below standard material they should warn people I had of time so that they know they’re taking chances. I had nine chairs to cover And one stuck out like a sore thumb so I took the cover off and looked through the material to see if I could find something better. Clearance or no clearance, I think that they should stand by the quality of their materials., Everyone likes a good bargain but it’s not much fun if you have to go fixing up the screw ups that you can get for using bargain stuff And I am just wanting to say be careful when you buy material that is on clearance at Hobby Lobby. There is no guarantee. There was no refund and I don’t think the customer service was very good in this case either.

The hobby lobby store is absolutely wonderful in Chula Vista, California. I’ve also ran into the workers there and they have been extremely helpful and cheery except for one. Her name tag said “Annie” and she is deaf. Myself and my friends have visited the store at separate times by ourselves. It just happened that we were all having a conversation and we all started talking about your employee, Annie. We all have been very disappointed with her being extremely unfriendly and had an obvious attitude of “why are you bothering me?” With a roll of eyes. One of my co workers has recently learned sign language and was excited to be able to communicate but Annie was not impressed. Please understand that I am deaf myself and I work with customers on a daily basis at my job. I would never give attitudes towards customers since that will make them leave the store not in a positive vibe. I just wanted you to be aware and possibly re train your employees or a one on one with Annie about giving customers some kind of satisfaction and would enjoy coming back. After all that’s how good business works. I understand everyone has bad days but this was an encounter on multiple different occasions and she is now known as a disgruntled employee that shoppers wants to avoid. She may be very knowledgeable and have some strong points in doing her job but working with customers is something she needs to work on. It’s just terrible and she leaves customers feeling bad. Thank you and hope you take this into consideration and fix it. It’s a wonderful store and you need employees to serve with excellence.

While I like the products and prices, I have a complaint about a particular employee at the store located in the Landmark Plaza in Alexandria VA. Deborah is a cashier and on several occasions I've seen her be rude and unhelpful to costumers. I recently noticed acts this way to non-Americans or those that speak another language other than English. If there were a convenient store, I would stop shopping at Hobby Lobby

Disappointed in customer service and the manager during recent visit to purchase yarn on sale for 30% off ALL yarn. I asked a very sweet lady in that dept if a box set of yarn was included she said yes. The cashier called her and got confirmation, and said sorry, it was her mistake, but to let me have it because she had told me it was. but the cashier told her front end supervisor who yelled NO! It's not, then called the store director and told her, and was told NO its not. I walked out after telling the two up front to keep my basket full of stuff. I'll go to Michael's. I only gave more than 1 star for the sweet lady who works back in that department, who sadly will probably get the blame. I'd give zeros to the two girls up front and the manager who allowed this kind of customer service. I worked in public 40 years old school ways...keep customer happy so they will come back again. The signs hanging up says ALL YARN 30% off. No mention of any exclusions. My daughter was so angry about it, she almost took her $51 yarn purchase back for a refund. Guess Hobby Lobby Abilene can afford to lose customers. Very disappointing shopping trip after driving 25 miles to shop with granddaughter who loves to crochet. I called corporate and got an apology. That's all.

I bought a small glass cube and didn't notice that one corner was badly chipped. I was in a hurry to make a gift for a friend and quickly etched it only to notice the chip. I understand since it was etched H.L. may not accept the return but the manager (I'm assuming she was the manager) in the Attleboro, MA store said they couldn't accept it because it was etched but didn't answer me when I asked, would you re-sell it if I just returned it damaged? If the store is returning to the manufacture because of the damage, would the etching really be an issue? Anyway, I rarely shop at H.L. I prefer Michael's and really miss AC Moore.

I visited the Hawthorne, Ca store and I feel this store has serious racist undertones, which seems out of character since it is a store that actually represents Christ, with gospel music always playing! The people are aerogant and unfriendly, they seem as if you're distrubing them when you ask for help, they are rude and just plan old cold, totally opposite of what Christ represents. I hope someone else opens a store with a similar idea but better atmosphere, somewhere that I feel good spending my money in. These people do not represent God in any way except all the merchandise they have.

people at the 800 # for customer service are useless. I was having an issue placing an online order on their site as it kept saying there is a problem please check back later. Two hours later same thing and no help from them. I purchased elsewhere

I ordered 4 yards of fabric to make curtains…I received one piece that was just over 3 yards, and a second piece that was just over 1 yard. I sent and email to customer service and got “sorry, we understand the importance of getting one continuous piece. Here’s a return label if you want to return it.” Poorest customer service…apparently retuning it to a store not an option? Making it right not an option? To mail it back is a hassle…buy something to ship it in, pack it, drive to PO…hardly worth it for a $20.00 purchase….

High prices except when on sale. Website ordering is a joke,, they advertise free shipping in their banner,, then later in small print it tells you it is actually free only with $59 purchase. Website is hard to navigate. I used to stop by every week,, but since stopping their 40% coupons, I rarely go there, instead use Michael's or other online stores.
