I ordered 5 impact hurricane windows for my condo that I just bought in July 2023. I waited 6 months for them. finally got an install date of jan 9 2024. They sent 2 guys that didn't speak English to install. First problem was they brought 4 correct windows and 1 incorrect window. They spent the best part of the day installing, when done, none of the screens fit the windows, and none of the screws in any of the windows were installed completely/fully so when you opened and closed the windows they hit the screws causing the balances to break. Several weeks of calling and emailing the Home Depot they sent window manufacture reps out to see my problem. They confirmed the windows were installed incorrectly, and out of square. They took the screens too re-size them to fit properly. This was weeks ago, I have not heard from them since, and the rep at Home Depot does not seem interested in getting my issues fixed as well. With no screens I can't open my windows, and even if I could with broken balances the top sash don't stay open. It's a big MESS...save yourself the trouble and buy windows elsewhere. The only calls I get from them is to try to get me to pay, and why on earth would I pay for this?

Bought a washer and dryer and made the terribly poor choice to order a delivery. It was scheduled for a Friday, for which we were given a 3pm-7pm time bloc, even got updates starting at 5pm of how many stops before our delivery. But, we went to sleep at mid-night without a delivery or a call canceling/updating delivery status. Saturday, we saw in the tracking that it was now schedule for Monday. Called the 1800 number, and were told that it had to be Monday because the trucks are loaded the night before, and our appliances were not moved to a Saturday truck. To call back on Sunday for time block info for Monday’s delivery. Called Sunday, and were told the warehouse was closed so they couldn’t get delivery info or confirmation it will actually be delivered on Monday. Called Monday, and were told the warehouse had just received the appliances ??? So, either they had a ghost washer and a ghost dryer in a truck on Friday or they flat-out lied the whole time (I don’t believe in ghost appliances). Had to cancel the order with that update, specially after being told it will take 1 week for the warehouse to coordinate loading the trucks and schedule a delivery, but Home Depot could not guarantee that a third day taking off from work wouldn’t be wasted, as they couldn’t guarantee that the third scheduled date would be for sure a delivery.

We'll I guess after receiving most of my online orders from Home Depot on time. I guess it was time to have a extra week delay. I got half my order so if it was 6-Stars I could do 3-star for half delivery on a two part order... So 2⭐⭐ until the other part finds it's way???

I had a horrible experience with Gussy tonight, at the Flowery Branch Home Depot. This is the second time I have dealt with this woman and this is my second complaint about her. I don't know why she even got involved but she started looking up why my Home Depot store credit didn't work. She was claiming that the card was old, even though the car was issued to me 18 days ago. She started giving me excuse after excuse hoping that I would except it. When I got upset, she was telling me to calm down, even though she was raining her voice to me - THE CUSTOMER! At no time did her or Bryce, the store manager give me a credible answer. This store is horrible.I will use my remaining store credit, if she doesn't steal it and then move on to buy from LOWES. I am tired of dealing with the problems from this store and nothing being done about it. Those employees disrespect customers and are applauded.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Don't EVER purchase appliances and have them delivered by Home Depot. Bought a washer & dryer, paid for delivery and installation. They delivered them, would not balance the washer and never hooked up the drain hose to the tub. They said they couldn't do it and there was no fix to the problem. I returned the appliances for refund. Received a call the day after delivery men picked up the appliances and it was a manager telling me he was processing my refund as we spoke. 9 days later, no refund. Called again and now have to wait an additional 5 days for the refund. They don't care about customer satisfaction and they make it impossible to give them feedback or get a manager on the phone to address problems. BUYER BEWARE!

This is Home Depot online..If I could do 0 stars I would...NEVER buy a gas dryer from Home Depot! After moving furniture & not drying for a week! So horrible that installers COULD NOT INSTALL GAS DRYER...blaming how the existing dryer (from a major appliance store) prevented it. CLEARLY Home Depot hires installers who have difficulty with certain installations...I'm warning buyers BEWARE of buying major appliances from Home Depot

I purchased vinyl plank flooring and carpet for my entire house from Home Depot. Purchasing was easy and pleasant. The install was through AIS and they ruined the whole experience. AIS canceled appoints and no showed for other appointments. It took almost 3 months to get everything installed and their installers left me with a bare wood subfloor and staples to walk on after the tear out and came back a week to do the install. Then another 3 months to tear out and reinstall a warranty claim when the vinyl flooring was buckling and breaking in 1 room from poor installation. I will never use home depot for any installation again.

A friend of mine, who is a Veteran, always received the 10% veterans discount. Today he went to Home Depot and was told he had to put an app on his phone in order to get the discount. He does not have a smart phone, internet, etc., as I am hearing lots of other Veterans do not either, which means these people who served our country can NO LONGER get this discount. This is not fair to them and not right that you advertise Veterans Discount and have now excluded many of them!! He and many of his friends in this area will no longer be shopping in your store. They will be taking there business to Lowes where they do honor the Veterans by just showing there proof.

I ordered a crib for my great niece and was sent an email that it was ordered and I haven’t received anything! I was told that I had to dispute this issue with my bank, which is insane. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to shop here!

I have regularly purchased from Home Depot and for the first time had an issue with a desk ($350) that was delivered in a damaged box of which I took pictures. Not able to open the box right away because the person it was a gift for was having home renovations, when opened the parts package was gone and 2 main parts were badly damaged. The box was huge and heavy and had a ton of pieces so I could not open it and take everything out until it was abIe to actually be put together. I called the manufacturer who could do nothing because the desk was discontinued. They transferred me to Home Depot. Bottom line, they would do NOTHING! All I was looking for was a credit to buy another desk which I could now promptly open. Unwilling to do ANYTHING I found to be completely unacceptable customer care. I know people who pick stuff from the dumps and return it without a problem, and I was being completely honest with my situation and got NOWHERE! The representative disconnected my call when I asked to speak with a manager. I will NEVER purchase from here ever again!

Delivery person deliberately dropped our freezer onto driveway. We refused delivery. He blasted his horn down our driveway and down our road. Wasn’t even fired for his extreme rudeness. The next replacement delivery was left us a freezer a quarter mile from our house with instructions to do so. It was seriously dented. Littleton Home Depot refused to answer or respond to us. They were disgraceful. We’ll never go back to these horrible people.

I am a small business customer of Home Depot and spend over $50k a year at their physical stores. However, their online shopping systems are terrible. I would like to give Home Depot my online business over Amazon, but they constantly let me down. The delivery dates are frequently missed, and the customer service representatives remind me that it's only an "estimate" as stated in their policy. Many times, their inventory management system shows available items, but they cancel my order because they have no stock. Sometimes, the system charges me twice, putting a hold and later releasing the money when the item ships, but I will have the money removed for 3-5 days because of the two charges for the same item. When I call to highlight the issues and ask if there is a way to provide feedback to the online system group, they say no. Home Depot needs to improve their online system because it is not efficient enough for doers like me who want to get more done.

I tried to shop at Home Depot several times over the past few years after moving to the Daytona area. They never seemed to have what I went in to purchase. So they decided to cut my credit limit in half due to 'inactivity'. Then decided to close my account that I've had for 27 yrs due to inactivity! Absurd way to treat customers

Absolute incompetence. First attempt they knocked on the door and left after a minute. It was a three story townhouse and they didn't ring the bell. The operator actually asked me if I would like to leave instructions for the next drivers to ring the bell. She was serious. Second attempt the guy called me and could barely read. I'm not kidding, I don't think he was ever taught how. I texted him the address again and then without reading them he said he'll call me back. Hung up, blocked my number and left. I was given roughly a minute total. I begged the rep before the first delivery to leave the damn package and waive the signature but she wouldn't. Been on hold for 25 minutes as I write this.

IRATE and DISGUSTED by Home Depot and their HORRIBLE service. I ordered a dryer on 11/23/23, with a delivery date of 11/28/23, for a morning delivery. The ENTIRE morning passes, NO delivery, NO phone call. Finally , WE call HD (more of our time), and are rescheduled for a delivery of 12/4/23. Great news, right. Meanwhile, we have NO way to fully wash our clothes, hence another expense at a laundromat. Well, 12/4/23 arrives, and guess what?? STILL NO DRYER. Hours after "supposed delivery", we receive a phone call. We were frustrated and angry, and CANCELLED our entire order. While reviewing our credit card statement on 12/20/23, we noticed there was no refund from Home Depot. The refund amount is $552.54. So, I called your "customer service" number and spent 1.5 hours on the phone, another WASTE OF MY TIME. At this point , it's been TWO DAYS OF MISSED WORK and no refund. Customer service was very polite, and was told my refund was issued. Fast forward to TODAY, 1/15/24, and I realize that my money was STILL NOT REFUNDED. I first spoke to Mary, who was polite, and told me I would have to go to a love HD store for my refund. MY refund of $552.54. Not pocket change. I was transferred to a supervisor, JASON, who was rude and extremely unprofessional. He also directed me to a local store for a refund. Many questions arise from this stressful and expensive Home Depot experience. One is NEVER to spend my hard earned money there again. Another is that your customer service is DREADFUL. Many operators are polite, but they gave us false information and did not resolve our problem. Another lesson is that Home Depot cares NOTHING for their customers, as this is a financially difficult time for many American families. If they have decided to spend their money at your store, you should have the respect and decency to refund them in a timely manner. FYI, the issue was resolved by JASON, supervisor in customer service, rudely transferring me to a local store, Stroudsburg, PA. The employee there helped us immediately, in a pleasant and efficient manner. I have never had such a discouraging and expensive customer transaction as I have had with Home Depot. Fortunately, we were able to find a small appliance business nearby and had a quick, perfect delivery. And their price was better than Home Depot. Jason, the supervisor, refused to admit wrongdoing in Home Depot's part. I thought the Golden Rule applied to business, but apparently not to Home Depot. As an owner of a very old home(1890), and an ardent DIYer, I will NEVER frequent Home Depot again.

Delivery was slow that did not come when they said they would, Did not call to let me know, When they did deliver it I did not open it and it was not installed for 3 more months, When the contractor opened it it was crushed on both sides of the glass And found out later it needed 7 new parts, Called home depot said there's nothing they could do about, it to me they didn't even try, After a long process I finally got GE to fix it, After 1 year of using it The top sprayer does not work, it's a piece of junk, I think it was dropped by a shipper or an employee

Complete delivery never showed on kitchen cabinets. Seven calls to HD customer service over 5 days. Run around and outright miss information from all seven HD customer service people with the final person I talked to more interested in lecturing me vs solving my problem. Infuriating. No return calls as promised and still no cabinets. A completely horrible experience and I’m done with HD. Oh and I’m not a homeowner customer, I have a pro account and but a great deal from them throughout the year.

we had a delivery schedule for a washer dryer and moved all our furniture to make way for the delivery. The driver calls us and says that he will be here in ten minutes and after one hour we call him and he is on voice mail. We then call Home depot and the representative insists on rescheduling! We ask her to put us through to the manager and we are put in hold for a thirty minutes and no response! The worst custoner service and full of lies in corporate business

HD lost my confidence on a recent dual appliance purchase. Delivery came up short-they didn't level the appliance, and they threw stuff in my trash that I paid to have taken away. A revisit to check machine was frustrating. They said it was level without checking it-it was not-they checked when I questioned how they knew if they didn't. The machine is disappointingly very noisy & they weren't sure if it was normal or a problem. They insisted they had to either take it or order a replacement and were not good at explaining why I couldn't just use my 48 hrs. to decide without an order. They then told me I had to call and be sure the order was in, and tell them I would take the 48 hr. window to decide. When I did this I was told to text, I was put on hold and they never came back on text. I called and was put on hold and disconnected. I had told them I would call the next day. When I called the next day I found it was cancelled already. I had not said to cancel it at that point. 2 guys came on revisit-1 did everything and the other one was bored I guess and wandered around my laundry room looking at things. That was disconcerting. The entire ordeal was frustrating, confusing. and lacked in good customer service.
