AVOID . AVOID . due to a booking error, I received an email from them telling me to make a new booking , and to email them with the old reference for a refund. I followed their instruction and now they are refusing to refund me , which means I have paid twice for 1 transfer . They have no contact number, so you can only email and they refuse to escalate to a manger .

We used your company on the outward and inward legs of our journey. The outward journey was fantastic we were met by a greeter in the airport who then escorted us to the waiting cars. I was glad to see the cars where what I had booked 2 X SUVs with enough room for us and all of our luggage as arranged. However, our return journey was not so good. A car arrived with barely enough space for passengers let alone luggage, we managed at a squeeze to get passengers and luggage on board and we were advised another such car would be along shortly. A few minutes later a car arrived to take the remaining four passengers to the airport. It was a very small car and not at all what I had booked. He had space for only one large piece of luggage and 2 small pieces of luggage and only 2 passengers. We were advised they would send another car within 10 minutes and all would be well. I was left behind with my 13-year-old to await this coming vehicle. After 10 minutes I received a phone call saying no car was coming, we exceeded the luggage limit and we were to fend for ourselves to ‘get a taxi or something’. I am certain (and have the booking documents to prove it) I booked 2 x SUVs with enough space for 4 passengers as well as 8 large cases AND 8 small cases PER VEHICLE. I was distraught to learn I had been abandoned in New York City alone with a child and your company showed no remorse for this. I was then forced to pay for a taxi even though I had prepaid your company to escort all of our party to and from the airport. I contacted your company who responded once where lies where told and no follow up since despite numerous emails

Awful company. We booked two taxis, one to collect us from Barcelona Airport and on to collect us from the hotel at the end of our holiday. Neither turned up. Customer service are a fight to get hold of and get any kind of response. They eventually agreed a refund of £97 minus a cancellation fee we paid ( we did not cancel ) hoppa just did not fulfil their obligations. They have now only paid a refund of £10. They will not answer my messages and emails. We will NEVER use hoppa again !

So I booked a return journey to my hotel in Barcelona from the airport, even though I had confirmation the night before my driver DIDNT turn up, no warning no call no nothing, , I had to arrange with the help of the hotel for a taxi at extra cost. I raised a complaint, heard nothing. Hoppa is by far one of the worst service’s I’ve ever used in my life, my advice use them at your peril. I will never use them again and if I could give them a minus score I would, sadly I can’t, shame on you Hoppa you’ve lost a valuables customer forever.

(Booking Ref P1363057) Booked an airport transfer with Hoppa in Ismir. The collection on our arrival went perfectly. Great service. On the other hand, our return trip and subsequent customer service were shocking and non-existent. We received a text message from the local transfer company the day before our return trip to confirm the pickup time and location. (08:00 on Fri 15/12/23) Actual Text Received - (Tomorrow we will pick you up at 08:30. Please wait at the reception) At the time and location of the arranged pick-up, we sent this message to the local transfer company - (We are ready outside for you. Thanks.) We received this back - (Dear it is possible for you to take a taxi. The car have some problems. We will refund the money for taxi) So we got a taxi to the airport and provided a receipt of the cost to the local transfer company, they have yet to reply. 15/12/23 - We contacted Hoppa later that day, giving all details, screenshots of the message from and to the local provider and a copy of the taxi receipt. 20/12/23 - Hoppa replied stating they would refund 50% of the cost we paid them originally, which we were happy with. 28/12/23 - We contact Hoppa to chase the refund. 29/12/23 - Advised it would be 7 - 11 working days for the refund to be processed and show in our account. 12/01/24 - We contacted Hoppa again asking when the refund would be processed…… No reply. Please don’t use this company unless you are happy with no customer service if anything goes wrong.

Worst transfer company I have ever used, will never use again. A minor flight delay and huge queues at passport control meant I was going to be late for the arranged pick up. Per Hoppa instructions I tried to phone the local vendor who did not answer, I also tried to use the Hoppa Whatsapp and Online Chat systems but they were completely automated and would not work as they couldn't find my booking. Finally I managed to phone Hoppa who automatically routed me to the local vendor who told me he wasn't picking me up and to contact Hoppa again. I submitted a complaint to Hoppa who clearly use an international support desk that have proven to be absolutely useless in reading and understanding the complaint.

BEWARE!!! Paid for private transfer to and from airport for our family holiday in Hurghada. On entry the transfer left us due to passport control delays which meant we spent 500 egp to get to our hotel on our return we where hopeful but unfortunately our transfer meant for 5 people and 5 suit cases turned up 30 minutes late as a single car assuring us a local was 5 minutes away which was a lie it was yet another 15/20 minutes. Which meant we missed our flight and had to pay £1350 for other flight plus hotel to stay another night , food , another 1200egp transport to & from that hotel! Booked through love holidays you would expect bette, unfortunately not!

On arrival at Egypt-Hurghada Airport we were advised to call a number, we couldn't get through to anyone. After asking around nobody could help and this resulted in having to get a taxi. Not what we needed, but had no choice. VERY DISAPPOINTED. So please be aware of this if using Hopper for your transfer at Hurghada Airport.

I would give them a 0 if i could. Absolute fraud, no transfer came & they had all the evidence from me too but yet only offering 50% refund. Pls avoid. This was in Tunisia. They can offer me 50% as per their refund 'matrix' whatever that means. I have been going back and forth for weeks now & the customer service is awful. Ruined our trip completely.

We booked and paid for a transfer from our hotel in Antalya to the airport but the bus never arrived. We were waiting for our scheduled bus (we booked it for 11:45) since 11 am. Once, it reached 11:45 am we started worrying but thought that it could be a bit late. Then we waited a bit more and after that started trying to get in touch via the ways listed on the ticket. None of them worked. All the contact details are useless, you only get to chat with a bot. We were in contact with Hoppa on WhatsApp. One of their employees finally answered in 33 mins, before there there was a fight with the bot leading nowhere. The agent tried to contact the driver and there was no answer as well. As a result, we were being terribly late for the flight and had to take a hotel taxi not to miss it. Even with that we almost missed the flight, we had to do an urgent check in through a help desk . I placed a complaint asking to refund the money paid for the bus and the unplanned spend on the taxi with which I was “nicely” rejected. The bus has never arrived but they sent me a picture of the hotel’s reception as a proof that the driver was there lol. We were waiting at the hotel for aged and could see every vehicle coming in and leaving. There was no Hoppa bus. As a result we spent around £100 on this stressful journey. I’ve been getting in touch with them for over a month now trying to get some reasonable solution. But what I got was nothing but quite indifferent attitude. The stuff is extremely rude and told me to shut. DO NOT USE HOPPA if you don’t want to have similar experience… As they say buy nice or buy twice… I hope it helps someone

Shocking Experience with Hoppa - Unacceptable Driver Behaviour and non existent customer service 🚫 Dear Fellow Travelers, I feel compelled to share my recent disturbing encounter with Hoppa, and I urge you to exercise caution when considering their services. My experience was marred by completely unacceptable driver behavior. My family and friends and I booked a taxi service through Hoppa from Heraklion Airport to our accommodation. What should have been a straightforward journey turned into a nightmare. The assigned driver not only failed to meet basic standards of professionalism but displayed behavior that should never be tolerated: - Aggressive Conduct: From the moment we entered the vehicle, the driver was intimidating and aggressive. His demeanor created an atmosphere of fear and discomfort. - Mobile Phone Use While Driving: Shockingly, the driver recklessly used his mobile phone while driving, putting our safety at risk. This behavior is both dangerous and illegal. - Unexplained Stops in Unknown Locations: At one point during the journey, the driver pulled over in a deserted area, late at night, with no valid explanation. His actions left us feeling threatened and vulnerable. - Demanding more money - demanded more money and in the end had to pay more. I tried to seek resolution through Hoppa, but their response favored the driver without a proper investigation, they bias is completely with the drivers and do not believe a word anyone else says, they are passive aggressive and just throw their points back of what the driver has said. Their complete disregard for my concerns is simply unacceptable. I'm writing this to caution travelers against using Hoppa. Their service, in my experience, failed to prioritise safety and customer satisfaction. I would never consider using their services again, and I strongly advise others to do the same. Avoid like the plague!

If I could give zero stars I would! Do not touch this company. Website is a nightmare - they asked us to cancel and re-book twice due to lack of drop/off information - they said this was the only way to do it (no option to edit). Each time we cancelled it flashed up to say we’d be entitled to a full refund. Try getting a refund out of them! They just want to issue Hoppa credits, which I would never use as I wouldn’t touch them again with a barge pole! Complete fiasco!

do not use this service we booked a holiday to fuereventura they picked us up ok when we arrived but going back was a nightmare we were ready to be picked up our driver did not arrive we were there half an hour early we phoned them they told us the driver was on his way we waited but he didn't arrive the hotel receptionist at corralejo beach phoned hoppa they denied all knowledge that we phoned them even though the receptionist told them we had as she was there then they tried to say we were not there waiting when he arrived the receptionist told them we were there was road works around the hotel so i think the driver just didn't bother in the end the very rude man from hoppa said we had to get a taxi we then had to run 20 minutes up hill to get one which cost us 59 euros by the time we got to airport we had to run again as they were boarding our aeroplane in half an hour we are in our 70's and really didnt need this we were panicking and worried we were going to miss our flight the taxi driver was brilliant getting us there we will never use hoppa again when we got home we tried to phone them to get a refund they put the phone down on us disgusting company reg and sharyn skinner from southampton

Do not use Hoppa. Booked a one way transfer and received email confirmation. 1 hour later I received a cancellation email. I did not cancel the booking and they will not refund my money. I am not the only person this has happened to. Be warned

Do not use this service!!! We rent 2 private minibus for 10 people to do the transfer from the airport Orly, Paris to the hotel, after confirming the day before no one showed up at the airport, we tried everything to talk to the company to understand what was happening with no success... we had to call a cab to do the service. At the return the same thing happened... horrible customer service

I booked the hoppa for a recent trip to Portugal - the transfer from airport was fine but then came the drama with this company. Our flight got cancelled which obviously happens less than 24hours before you fly - couldn't get hold of anyone to talk too - tried the whatsapp it was useless, sent an email which says they will contact you within 24hours. Absolute joke. I have sent them emails asking for help and all i have received is them not taking any responsibility for not being able to contact them. The driver also turned up at the hotel - clearly the company did not contact him - why do we bother giving this company flight details if they don't bother following the flights. I then receive an email telling me i didn't turn up for the journey back to the airport and if i don't respond within 72 hours i cannot make any complaints going forward. This company is an absolute JOKE! DO NOT book with them at all, especially if you would like to speak to someone in case flight cancellations etc happen. Your money disappears, they don't care and then you get threatening emails.

I booked a transfer from Rome airport to the centre of Rome. The Aer Lingus plane was delayed. There was no Hoppa driver in arrivals hall and no one answered my telephone calls. Had to book another taxi. I will never use Hoppa again.
