Ripped all british citizens of. Paid for transport from as alicante to benidorm. Spain government told us not to travel Hoppa refused to refund us only credit 122.00 for 12 months credit this company are thieves and should not be used again.

We cancelled a fully refundable "free cancellation" booking and they are keeping the money, 100 euro offering a credit note instead!! Not good enough!! Shocking breach of contract!

Avoid this company! Booked a transfer in Italy but due to Covid -19 this can’t be fulfilled. It said on website it was not possible to amend and to cancel this and rebook! I cancelled and that and they now say because I cancelled that won’t it be refund or credit!! Done this to several people in a wedding party! Scammers!

I booked the hoppa for a recent trip to Portugal - the transfer from airport was fine but then came the drama with this company. Our flight got cancelled which obviously happens less than 24hours before you fly - couldn't get hold of anyone to talk too - tried the whatsapp it was useless, sent an email which says they will contact you within 24hours. Absolute joke. I have sent them emails asking for help and all i have received is them not taking any responsibility for not being able to contact them. The driver also turned up at the hotel - clearly the company did not contact him - why do we bother giving this company flight details if they don't bother following the flights. I then receive an email telling me i didn't turn up for the journey back to the airport and if i don't respond within 72 hours i cannot make any complaints going forward. This company is an absolute JOKE! DO NOT book with them at all, especially if you would like to speak to someone in case flight cancellations etc happen. Your money disappears, they don't care and then you get threatening emails.

On the 11 September 2022 I paid £111.23 to Hoppa.com for a return transfer from Ciampino Airport to our Hotel in Italy. On 28th September 2022 we were met by a reasonably smart looking driver who drove us from the airport to our hotel on the outskirts of Rome in a smart reasonably new E class Mercedes. Unbelievably the day before we were returning to the UK they gave us a time for pick up to take us to the airport to meet our return flight. HOWEVER, the time was virtually the same time as the flight!!!. I had terrible trouble getting through to Hoppa but I did eventually get to chat with an agent online. They said they would get back to me by email. They did get back with an email from the partner saying they were unable to pick us up any earlier. This was despite them requesting the flight times from us weeks earlier. And as anyone who flies regularly will know transfer companies normally like to take you to the airport up to 3 hours before your flight departure. Hoppa then emailed us and said they couldn’t supply a driver and suggested we make alternative arrangements for our transfer to the airport. I requested a 50% refund extremely fair in the circumstances as we had to arrange alternative transfer back to the airport at our own expense. So far NO refund has been made. This is one expensive transfer company who in my opinion are operating illegally and using “sharp practice” to swindle people out of their hard earned money. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST if they do not have people to con they will cease to operate…..BEWARE Angela and Paul Sale (staying in Rome at the time)

If I could leave zero stars I would ! Absolutely shocking company , website is a disgrace , asking you to cancel your details and claim refund even before you set off !!!Absolutley NO WAY of contacting HOPPA at all ! They make it this way so that you are facing a closed door every time , talk to us.com is a joke , there are no humans behind this platform whatsoever ! When you submit a complaint , it says ticket issued , and you don’t hear anything else ! The car arrived for return airport transfer 4 hours early at 5.30 am ! We were still all in bed ! Had to arrange another transfer with local taxi at €60 , and now no answer to emails applying for refund ! AVOID AT ALL COST !!!! In you want to avoid a stressful time and to be out of pocket ! Disgusting company !

Beware if you are thinking of using this company! If it takes more than 35 minutes to clear covid checks, border security & collect your luggage the taxi will leave & Hoppa will accuse you of not showing up! The Hoppa transfer taxi only waited 35 minutes after our flight had landed before leaving, not giving us enough time to clear Covid pass checks, border security & collect our luggage. Hoppa admitted that the taxi should have waited for 1 hour but refused to accept responsibility as we didn't phone the local agent when we couldn't find their driver. The fact my phones sim would not work in Egypt so I couldn't call the Egyptian agent wasn't taken into consideration. An unreliable company that doesn't care about its customers - avoid & use a company focused on providing it's customers with a good reliable service. Beware if you are thinking of using this company! We booked our airport transportation for 11:15am and normally it takes between 30-45 mins. When we called our driver at 11:09am to check if he was near, he said he would arrive around 11:49am!! I couldn’t believe it. We were to be at the airport to catch our flight by then! I emailed the company and they still charged me. I’ve now open a complaint and will see when they will refund my money. This company is completely unreliable. We had three children and an elderly grandmother with my husband and I with our luggage scrambling to get two Ubers! Thank god Uber exists!!

Cancelled transfer told contrary to the t and c S that 90% was not refundable Seems they have the money and will not refund giving credit valued for 1 year not acceptable Will never use this company again

I booked a Private Car Service (Mercedes) with Hoppa and according to their information on their website if that car is not available then "Your vehicle may not exactly match the image shown, in which case we'll provide you with a vehicle of suitable size and quality, meaning you’ll enjoy the same high standards". The reason why I paid for the Private Car Service was that its more comfortable and my partner has a bad back (Arthritic Back). I got picked up on the day of arrival (28/02/20) by a Volkswagen Mini Van even though i got a email confirmation saying it was going to be an Audi A6 then on my return to the UK I got picked up by the same driver in a Renault Mini Van. If I wanted a Mini Van Service from Hoppa on their website it would cost me around £60 for the cheapest. So I've paid for a Mini Van service for a high premium of £157.60. I did not receive the service i paid for, this is utterly unprofessional. I would never use this shambles of a company again, please avoid this company like the plaque. Their reviews speak for itself, horrible!

ive always used Hoppa and always found them very reliable, ive just had an email to say sorry you had to cancel your booking for 17th April, your £37.57p has been credited to your account for when you next use Hoppa....hello i didnt cancel my booking, you did @ Hoppa, and why you decide to hold my money on account instead of offering me a refund is an absolute disgrace, you have no right to do this, who said i will use you again, and if i dont, ive lost my money, ive tried phoning them and all automated, you never get to talk to anyone, as some of you have said, they are just a money grabbing company, it seams you are right, im not going to leave it at this, dirty greedy company.......DONT USE THEM....they never reply to any phone call or email........last time i do ffs

(Booking Ref P1363057) Booked an airport transfer with Hoppa in Ismir. The collection on our arrival went perfectly. Great service. On the other hand, our return trip and subsequent customer service were shocking and non-existent. We received a text message from the local transfer company the day before our return trip to confirm the pickup time and location. (08:00 on Fri 15/12/23) Actual Text Received - (Tomorrow we will pick you up at 08:30. Please wait at the reception) At the time and location of the arranged pick-up, we sent this message to the local transfer company - (We are ready outside for you. Thanks.) We received this back - (Dear it is possible for you to take a taxi. The car have some problems. We will refund the money for taxi) So we got a taxi to the airport and provided a receipt of the cost to the local transfer company, they have yet to reply. 15/12/23 - We contacted Hoppa later that day, giving all details, screenshots of the message from and to the local provider and a copy of the taxi receipt. 20/12/23 - Hoppa replied stating they would refund 50% of the cost we paid them originally, which we were happy with. 28/12/23 - We contact Hoppa to chase the refund. 29/12/23 - Advised it would be 7 - 11 working days for the refund to be processed and show in our account. 12/01/24 - We contacted Hoppa again asking when the refund would be processed…… No reply. Please don’t use this company unless you are happy with no customer service if anything goes wrong.

Worst transfer company I have ever used, will never use again. A minor flight delay and huge queues at passport control meant I was going to be late for the arranged pick up. Per Hoppa instructions I tried to phone the local vendor who did not answer, I also tried to use the Hoppa Whatsapp and Online Chat systems but they were completely automated and would not work as they couldn't find my booking. Finally I managed to phone Hoppa who automatically routed me to the local vendor who told me he wasn't picking me up and to contact Hoppa again. I submitted a complaint to Hoppa who clearly use an international support desk that have proven to be absolutely useless in reading and understanding the complaint.

BEWARE!!! Paid for private transfer to and from airport for our family holiday in Hurghada. On entry the transfer left us due to passport control delays which meant we spent 500 egp to get to our hotel on our return we where hopeful but unfortunately our transfer meant for 5 people and 5 suit cases turned up 30 minutes late as a single car assuring us a local was 5 minutes away which was a lie it was yet another 15/20 minutes. Which meant we missed our flight and had to pay £1350 for other flight plus hotel to stay another night , food , another 1200egp transport to & from that hotel! Booked through love holidays you would expect bette, unfortunately not!

On arrival at Egypt-Hurghada Airport we were advised to call a number, we couldn't get through to anyone. After asking around nobody could help and this resulted in having to get a taxi. Not what we needed, but had no choice. VERY DISAPPOINTED. So please be aware of this if using Hopper for your transfer at Hurghada Airport.

I would give them a 0 if i could. Absolute fraud, no transfer came & they had all the evidence from me too but yet only offering 50% refund. Pls avoid. This was in Tunisia. They can offer me 50% as per their refund 'matrix' whatever that means. I have been going back and forth for weeks now & the customer service is awful. Ruined our trip completely.

We booked and paid for a transfer from our hotel in Antalya to the airport but the bus never arrived. We were waiting for our scheduled bus (we booked it for 11:45) since 11 am. Once, it reached 11:45 am we started worrying but thought that it could be a bit late. Then we waited a bit more and after that started trying to get in touch via the ways listed on the ticket. None of them worked. All the contact details are useless, you only get to chat with a bot. We were in contact with Hoppa on WhatsApp. One of their employees finally answered in 33 mins, before there there was a fight with the bot leading nowhere. The agent tried to contact the driver and there was no answer as well. As a result, we were being terribly late for the flight and had to take a hotel taxi not to miss it. Even with that we almost missed the flight, we had to do an urgent check in through a help desk . I placed a complaint asking to refund the money paid for the bus and the unplanned spend on the taxi with which I was “nicely” rejected. The bus has never arrived but they sent me a picture of the hotel’s reception as a proof that the driver was there lol. We were waiting at the hotel for aged and could see every vehicle coming in and leaving. There was no Hoppa bus. As a result we spent around £100 on this stressful journey. I’ve been getting in touch with them for over a month now trying to get some reasonable solution. But what I got was nothing but quite indifferent attitude. The stuff is extremely rude and told me to shut. DO NOT USE HOPPA if you don’t want to have similar experience… As they say buy nice or buy twice… I hope it helps someone

Shocking Experience with Hoppa - Unacceptable Driver Behaviour and non existent customer service 🚫 Dear Fellow Travelers, I feel compelled to share my recent disturbing encounter with Hoppa, and I urge you to exercise caution when considering their services. My experience was marred by completely unacceptable driver behavior. My family and friends and I booked a taxi service through Hoppa from Heraklion Airport to our accommodation. What should have been a straightforward journey turned into a nightmare. The assigned driver not only failed to meet basic standards of professionalism but displayed behavior that should never be tolerated: - Aggressive Conduct: From the moment we entered the vehicle, the driver was intimidating and aggressive. His demeanor created an atmosphere of fear and discomfort. - Mobile Phone Use While Driving: Shockingly, the driver recklessly used his mobile phone while driving, putting our safety at risk. This behavior is both dangerous and illegal. - Unexplained Stops in Unknown Locations: At one point during the journey, the driver pulled over in a deserted area, late at night, with no valid explanation. His actions left us feeling threatened and vulnerable. - Demanding more money - demanded more money and in the end had to pay more. I tried to seek resolution through Hoppa, but their response favored the driver without a proper investigation, they bias is completely with the drivers and do not believe a word anyone else says, they are passive aggressive and just throw their points back of what the driver has said. Their complete disregard for my concerns is simply unacceptable. I'm writing this to caution travelers against using Hoppa. Their service, in my experience, failed to prioritise safety and customer satisfaction. I would never consider using their services again, and I strongly advise others to do the same. Avoid like the plague!
