“Customer care rep Lisa Troche called me back, she is very knowledgeable and responsible. She changed my impressions of Hubzu, I was frustrated trying to reach customer care, but Lisa was able to answer all my questions and provided valuable advice. I hope Hubzu hires more representatives like her.”

“I would rate it at the highest level if the practice of counter bidding by Hubzu on behalf of sellers can be stopped. This practice undermines the fair and competitive bidding process”

“There seems to be a BUG in the "BID WIZARD" that doesnt allow me to bid on a property. for the last month this property has been up for bid at least 3 times and under review then rejected perhaps due to 1 bidder, significantly under the last sale price. It seems to me that Deutsche Bank would wonder why only one lowball bid. I have called many times and mostly left on hold or BUSY past my availability. Two times I have reached a person, who promissed to help, but neither could clear the "Authentication failed" which is appearently due to a DATABASE problem relating to a deleted account I had earlier, which cannot be accessed. Not sure but maybe the best is to try the Deutshe Bank's telephone number.”

“I bid on a property as a homebuyer looking for a primary residence. Auctions are new to me and I only came across Hubzu because of a listing I saw on Zillow. The whole process was really straightforward and user friendly. I appreciated the transparency with bids and bidders, the refusal to counterbid on behalf of the seller, and how simple it was for a first time bidder to follow.”

“We are very disappointed in this site and its' practices. Bidding and winning the bid is a joke. We had the highest bid, our realtor received an email stating the auction was unsuccessful but our bid was the highest one then the property put up for auction $10,00 lower than the highest bid. How can it be unsuccessful is our question. Their business practices seen shady and unethical. Why are customers not told this information upfront so that they can make good decisions. Nobody has time for this foolishness. What we don't get is why the banks use this site. We are going to go to the clerk of courts office and look at the deed, (public record) to this property and see what bank owns it. After that we are going to contact them and have a conversation concerning this company. After reading all these comments it is plan to see that the good reviews are written by Hubu. Stop it you guys are a JOKE! Buyers beware!”

“I won the bid and Hubzu decided to relist the property at a higher price in 30 minutes. No explanation, no contact was possible with Hubzu, just an email to my agent saying the bid was unsuccessful. There wasn't a minimum price on the listing that I bid, and still has no minimum price after Hubzu relisted at a higher price. Would you trust placing another bid? Not me.”

“Hubzu is owned by Altisource, trust me just stay away from this company. They will drag their feet to turn around and claim you are in breach of your contract so they can keep your earnest money. Plus they refuse to make any repairs to the homes they know will not qualify for a conventional loan. Do yourself a favor and deal with a licensed realtor and not this company.”

“You really don't win bids here. A home's starting bid is 115000, their reserve is 155000. Really what's the point of an auction. Highest bidder wins right? This isn't Ebay, or is it? The high reviews are from agents not buyers.”
