“Bought a work jacket at a retail store in Lisbon with my (Canadian) Visa card that turned out not to fit. Two days later tried to return it and they said they couldn’t process a return on my card b/c it was North American. My bank said there should be no problem. Assume this is the way they roll.”

“I was initially very pleased with the heavyweight t-shirt that I bought in Portugal. When I got home I ordered 3 more. Unfortunately one was a lot smaller than the rest and when I contacted customer services they agreed that it had been mislabelled and suggested I post it back in order for it to be replaced. They sent me postage instructions and a label but after 2 months they claim it still hasn’t arrived and they refuse to send me a replacement until they have inspected it. For such an expensive product, the customer service is awful and I would advise people to avoid this product.”

“I used to be a big fan of ISTO. and purchased a total of 14 T-shirts. At first, I was impressed: great fit, comfortable material, beautiful design. Unfortunately, all of the shirts changed dramatically in size after only 1–2 gentle washes. Many became several centimeters shorter or tighter, while others stretched or became distorted. This is unacceptable for products at this price point. I documented the issue with photos and measurements and contacted customer service. Although ISTO. stated they had “never seen this problem before,” they showed no interest in investigating the cause and simply referred to their 30-day return policy, which I only exceeded because I was on holiday. A real disappointment – I would have loved to continue wearing ISTO., but with this response, I cannot recommend the brand.”

“Horrible experience so far. Paid for the order and received a confirmation and delivery notice, but no tracking code. 15 days later while still waiting, contacted customer service who assured me that the order will be sent the next working day. 5 days later, I'm yet to receive a tracking code or confirmation of the order being sent - or a refund. Seems like a scam so far.”

“Visited to 2 ISTO shops. Was served in both shops with attitude and rudeness. While I understand that computers and logistics systems are mysterious and complicated beasts, the customer doesnt need a dressing down when trying to simply pick up an online order that is clearly visible on its shelves. There are wonderful people out there that enjoy helping customers and making them happy - employ them, instead of some of the people currently working in your shops.”

“Fleece jacket was missing in my package - got refunded, which is fine. But there was also no invoice in my package. I've contacted customer service twice. Still no answer! Still can not return the goods, which l don't want to keep. The question to rate the service from yesterday is truly ironic.”
