“The meal replacement powders are quite good.”

“I used your meals as a complete meal replacement during the Soylent shortage. I ordered chocolate, but honestly it tasted like oatmeal; very nutty, muddy, earth oatmeal. I tried different sweeteners--honey, frozen fruits, etc.--but was ultimately reduced to pouring chocolate sauce in just to make it livable. Even then, it wasn't something I *wanted* to drink. The cost per meal is about $0.20 less than my Soylent subscription, so I was prepared to switch over if Plenny was better, but the need to use a sweetener negated the savings. I canceled my subscription because the shortage ended.”

“Pretty mild, tastewise, which I think is the point? You get used to the oaty taste real quick. Would recommend prepping it via a blender though, doing it by shaker is possible, but smoother finish makes it easier to go down.”

“I've changed my mind about this product. The shakes are actually quite good if you dilute them more than the recommended 300mL. The flavor of the strawberry brightens after adding more water, and the texture mellows out and becomes less grainy. I'm revising this review to a 4/5, both because of the kindness of the people at Jimmy Joy who reached out to me, and that adding a little more water made it a much better experience. The last piece of feedback I have, which is why it's not a 5/5, is that it might be a good idea to indicate adding more water might improve the experience for some people, on the package. Original review: It tastes better than Huel, but not by much. I sometimes gag when trying to drink down the Plenny shakes. It's cheap, which is a plus, and why I'm not rating it 1/5, but it does not taste good. Out of the two I bought, stawberry and vanilla, the one that made me gag less was the strawberry one. I couldn't get vanilla down at all, even when I tried. The company I see no issue with, as they reached out to get my feedback, but the product itself could use improvement.”

“The shakes took sometime to get used to. After reading some suggestions online like adding fruit and using milk instead of water to make the experience better. So that's what i did for the wild berries shake, added some frozen berries, milk instead of water and it has been my lunch at work for over a month. I don't go hungry any time soon after lunch and it provides me with a balanced meal.”

“I have adhd and I am on psychostimulant medication (Ritalin, methylphenidate). This suppresses my hunger and makes it difficult for me to eat enough. Plenny Shakes have been a lifesaver for me, since I started to lose too much weight. The cravings after my medication stops working are also less. So I’m very happy! I’ve tried yfood and Huel too, and this one has been my personal best.”

“Consistency is good and the powders dissolve easily, there are no clunks and chunks. So far I like the caramel, but the coffee flavour was disappointing :( It doesn't really have a coffee flavour, so I'm mixing it with other things, either chocolate protein powder or use it in a banana shake. The salted caramel is good though, I like the flavour of that and I haven't tried the rest yet.”

“Long time powder meal user and not a fan of these. There a bit cheaper so I can forgive that less whole ingredients are used but the flavour just isn't there. They all taste kinda doughy/chemically and the flavours that are suppose to be there are more like distance hints. Even something like chocolate tastes only remote of chocolate. Additionally the shaker does not stay closed properly which is just inconvenient. It's a nice design though.”

“I've only tried the shakes and the protein shake but I love them. Coconut is definitely my favourite flavour with lemon pie coming in at 2nd place. It's such a fast, easy (and tasty) breakfast so I can sleep in longer before going to work and it helps me to avoid eating junk which was the reason I started buying them. My young nieces love having a "milkshake" when they come over too so it's a great way to sneak some goodness into their diets. The only downside is I wont be able to continue having them once I'm pregnant because of the added vitamin A. Also, the customer service I received when there was an issue with my order was excellent.”
