I have seen a lot of negative reviews, but my experience was positive. "Just answer" do upsell - The total cost was £38.60, but I received a phone call from a GP within 20 mins - Highly recommended

Im amazed at all the bad reviews on here, people obviously never read the terms before signing up, glad i didn't read these beofre i signed up, it clearly states when you sign up its a trial period then 50 a month after, unless you cancel which is very easy to do. They been a godsend for me in a long running legal battle I've had. The advice as been brilliant and if you pay extra they help with documents, if it wasn't for them i reckon i would have lost and saved me a fortune i was with lawyers prior who just send it each other letters and charge 300 pound a pop.

My question was I’m pretty sure someone is using my identity, meaning my emails, my name, my address and most frightening my bank details but at the time wasn’t 💯 sure I am now but the woman I was txting with went straight to I’ll send u a safe page and u can fill in yr bank details it’s only a £1 and it’s refundable 😳😳😳 I’m telling her someone who has had access to my phone obviously while my baks turned but my phone with my online banking, pass words everything and she wants me to fill in my fkin bank details on her safe page! Yeah I suffer with mental health but was I wrong in thinking this is complete BS

I don’t want to be part of just answer I was told pay £1.00 free trial and will be asked whether I wan to continue. They have just debited my credit card with £35.00 which was not authorised for future payment. I would like a refund please. Thank you

I got online advice from one of the solicitors on Just Answer, called James Bruce. He was really patient and expert in giving his legal advice to me. I asked more than 15 questions regarding a single legal issue while having paid just £5 but received more than a £1000 legal advice. I highly recommend this useful service to confused individuals like me who are stuck with a legal issue and can not afford money-loving solicitors whose office doors are always open to gullible clients.

I have just realised that I was scammed by this company into a membership that I did not agree to or ask for. They have been taking money from my account for quite a few months. I have requested an immediate refund and have contact the FCA.

I signed up for a 3 day trial to get a short answer on a legal matter. The answer was not great but not terrible - what you would expect for $9. The problem is their billing practices. I cancelled within the 3 day trial period and they confirmed the cancellation, but they kept on trying to charge me the regular $85 subscription even though I never authorized it. Fortunately my credit card company blocked those attempts but I had to cancel my card which was very inconvenient.

I am so frustrated. There was absolutely no mention of a £27 a month charge. I happily paid £5 to speak to a vet, and when prompted if I would like a phone call for extra I declined! I am so upset that they are exploiting worried people as this looks to be their business model. I have asked for a refund in my membership cancellation request. But if anyone has any other ways I can demand this please let me know. I will be looking to speak to an ombudsman service or watchdog about this.

It's sad. I got great help with my problem and had an email saying I was being charged 15 pounds for the answer and 1 pound for a 3 day trial. No mention in the email about having to cancel the trial. I found out later that I was being charged 35 pounds a month. I was then told that it was not possible that I didn't know and had agreed to a membership (something that was useless to me). I threatened County Court and going to Which? magazine which is interested in scams, but it was only when they said they had a "We offer a 100% customer satisfaction guaranty, so if you’re not happy, we will give your money back." that I was able to get my money back by repeating it to them several times. For some reason they told me they had an excellent rating with the Better Business Bureau, which only covers US businesses and this appears to be UK company, or a branch of the US one. I asked why they told me that but they didn't respond. Again, my problem was solved fast and efficiently and I would have gladly used them again, but then it all fell apart.

Sorry to say I just did not find the 2 people I interacted with, any more informed than I am! The first was a legal question and the issue was he was slow to respond and did not answer to completion. Suddenly the page said I had requested a phone call which I HAD NOT and also a 5 star review had been given to him, which I HAD NOT! I had a charge placed for £44 on my card and received a phone call which I did not answer. I complained by email to JA that night, who did reply the next morning to say the charge would not be applied so that was OK. The legal expert ended prematurely although did offer me some advice which he probably just Googled and copied and pasted! He also phoned despite me typing out, 'do not phone, I did not request this'! The 2nd expert was a medical one. He honestly did not know that much and I am sure he was also Googling! Again, responses were stretched out and I think they are told to do this by JA - it is a bit like these psychic lines! They keep you hanging so you will pay for a call or a monthly fee. They are not experts IMO. I had already cancelled my trial 3 days and lost one day as I felt I could not trust the company. They did write back and apologise for the experience.

Just like most people reviews has stated, I agreed to paying £5 to get my medical questions answered. First of all, my questions were not properly dealt with and an option to pay £36 was put to me which I gladly declined. To my amazement Justanswer had taken £38 twice from my account, one just after paying the £5 and another £38 a month after. On noticing this, I called my bank immediately to put a stop to any future payments. And I called Justanswer to request for my money back. After a long call with the customers service guy, they offered to refund my money. Although I have not received the payment yet as I only called them this morning but they sent me an email they will be doing so. Hence my 2 stars rating. I believe the website is misleading and no one would think they will be charged for a service not required so beware!

I was misled, when I googled a question about MicroSoft Outlook, into thinking I was dealing with MicroSoft itself. I foolishly gave them my credit card details and found I was paying a £35 a month Standing order ☹️..! To be fair to them they did refund me the £35 hence my 2 stars. But this strikes me as dodgy business practice as I was unaware I was going to be billed every month....

Agreed to pay £1 for an answer. Was then only offered a service to speak to advisor for a further fee. I declined and did not pursue. I have now noticed I have been charged £30 on my credit card. This is apparently an ongoing £30 a month membership!!! It was not mentioned anywhere clearly about this £30 charge or an ongoing subscription. I have cancelled the membership. This was clearly misleading and mid-selling and wish to be refunded the £30.

If I try to leave less than 8 stars feedback it shows an error “coupon not valid” via the same link, clicking 9 or 10 it will accept the feedback.

As many have said I wanted to ask 1 question this took about 10 minutes to answer. At no point did I agree a subscription yet my bank alerted me to a £50 transaction from just answer. Luckily they are investigating and I’m hoping the account has been closed and cancelled. How sad that you go to a company for legal advice and it ends up they are the ones that are scamming you!
