Got a slow cooker for Xmas gift in 12/17. The display showed an error message recently. I called in in and they sent me a brand new one. Somewhat confused as to why they wanted me to send the entire unit back including the very heavy ceramic insert when they would have to discard it since it had been used. Would have liked to have kept it for a spare.

Although KitchenAid products are brilliant, reliable and wonderful the CUSTOMER CARE is appalling. After returning a brand new product ordered in haste!! It was still boxed and acceptance refused (as advised by KitchenAid) over two weeks ago I am still waiting for a refund. The Refund was promised to me upon (a) refusal of accepting delivery which I advised KA immediately. Then upon chasing it up after a week it was promised to me immediately. Four working days later I have now been told it will be refunded to me within the next 3 to 5 days. The item was returned to the Warehouse 16 days ago!! The money was taken from my account immediately upon placing an order which was cancelled within half an hour! I appreciate that once an order is placed it goes immediately to the warehouse and cannot be intercepted BUT if the money is taken from me immediately WHY HAS IT TAKEN SO LONG TO REFUND IT? I am extremely disappointed and shall not be purchasing anything again from Kitchenaid.

Drip filter coffee machine broke within 9 months, company has phased out the product and cannot replace it. They have provided vouchers to use on their website but there are no other coffee machines in the same spec so I now have vouchers that I don't want and no coffee machine. They have a more expensive coffee machine available but will not provide me with that as a replacement. There is no way I would recommend this company. As it stands I have no coffee machine, I'm down £150 and I have some useless kitchenaid vouchers. Avoid at all costs.

Returns policy is horrendous, do not purchase gifts from this company. Tried to return an opened gift in original unopened delivery box as wanted to upgrade to a better product. Happy to take the money for the more costly product but not willing to refund the original product. Wouldn't ever use them again

Wish I'd read about their rubbish customer service before. Saved for a mixer for AGES and finally took the plunge only to realise not only is part of their website wrong when it comes to offers (first promising 50% off for an accessory, then only giving 15%), but they only tell you on the invoice that any engraving will look as rubbish as it does on the 'preview' tool. In my case this would go into the logo so I emailed them 20mins (!) after placing my order to amend it. No reply. Several emails later, still no reply. Social media messages. No reply. Finally I cancelled my order, ONLY FOR THEM TO SHIP IT ANYWAY TODAY!! Cue an email to DHL head office who have intervened to have the thing sent back to them plus a fraud complaint with my credit card company. And now I get to wait for my refund so I can by my darn mixer via a company that isn't rubbish. Honestly DO NOT BUY FROM KITCHENAID DIRECTLY!! Oh and to top it off you cannot leave a review on their own website. Absolute scam.

Terrible service. I had an Artisan Blender delivered which had no charger cord in box. Phoned 3 times in as many weeks to be told each time One will be sent immediately. Many phone calls later one arrived after about 5 weeks. First time used an attachment broke so sent it back . A long delay in getting money back and no real apology. WILL not be buying anything from Kitchenaid ever again. Really poor service
