“This company has the WORST-customer service ever ! No one speaks English And they do not help with any questions or issues I also was disconnected several times by representatives NEVER again will I order from there ever again!!!!!!”

“Most of the reviews on here from people who don't pay attention when they check out. They're very clear about the $14.95 program after you check out and what you need to do to keep it or cancel it. It's very simple, read people! You can claim $10 back on your purchase by agreeing to the 7 day trial. If you don't want to keep it (which I didn't) you simply log in to your account and click CANCEL. Oh my God, that's was sooooo hard. It's cancels literally immediately without taking to anyone and I still get my $10 rebate. Can't sit there and get all mad and buty hurt over a charge when it's you that aren't paying attention. Be smarter people.”

“I had talked to customer service, explained i might be late on payments because I started chemo. Lady was understanding when I told her would still pay every month. Fast forward, ordered 2 containers for 12.99 an they canceled my order because I have not paid the full balance of 221. I have been ordering from them with a balance on my acct n they never said anything.....my acct is up to date. I have encouraged some family members n a few friends to shop with them...as soon as I get my review in am calling them n telling what a scam they are. Wonder if its because I told them I had cancer n they are afraid I might die n not pay them off...they are a rip off, liars pretending to care, don't worry,etc....Dont do business with these scammers.”

“Didnt order an item, didn't receive the item and a full year later they are charging me for it. Claimed they refunded my pay pal account, however they want me to send the money?!?! if you refunded the money why would I have to pay it back? Three calls and got nowhere!Catalogs have been cancelled!!!”

“AVOID THIS COMPANY. Ordered an item, was given a USPS tracking number- was told a month later on calling Customer Service (in the Phillipines) that the item had been sent via FedEx, which smelled extremely fishy. Have been promised a replacement item but I have zero faith it will actually arrive. Reading these other reviews I'm glad I used Paypal and didn't get trapped into their "rewards program" with a card, whch I am sure is how they make most of their money.”

“I ordered from this company and absolutely loved my items. Three days after receiving my order I was charged $12.95 for Lakeside pet rewards that I did not sign up for. I ended up having to cancel my credit card which is quite a hassle being I have automatic payments from other companies. So disappointed I had already planned on placing another order with this company and now feel like I can’t.”

“TERRIBLE!!! I would give them zero stars if I could. The last two orders I placed were canceled two weeks after placing them stating the items were out of stock. Two weeks???? I called customer service three times to speak to a Manager about what happened and nobody would call me back or do anything as far as giving me something towards a future purchase except for free shipping on my next order which they offer anyways at times. And a month later my paypal funds were refunded only after talking to billing directly. Would not recommend buying from this company.”

“I liked the products this co sent just fine. I paid on my balmy twice. Both times even this I had proof with bank statements and they confirmed my money was shown paid to their co via phone and gave me confermation. Umber at last payments. Yet they are now acting like it never got paid but are acknowledging the fact I did make two payments yet the balance hasn’t went down one cent just same valse as before I made payments. I called CS asked why? Can’t get an English speaking person with no noise in back ground. Little alone some truth when I asked where do I email proof of payments to head Corp he just repeated saying I owe more money. I know this is bunk but at this point. I’m wondering if their not commuting fraud and audit needs to be done to this co. If their acting like my first two payments didn’t go through and over half the bill one one payment. Then how many others are they doing this too as well! I will NEVER order from this CO again! BTW if you want to be an American co in today age. HIRE Americans to WORK! Don’t be cheap! Absolutely outraged at this co! Finally a complaint formally as well as calling to report a audit needing to be done. Keep your confirmation number even tho they will act like that doesn’t matter. It does. I refuse to pay on this bill one more time until they actually give acknowledgment of the payments being made on paper not via phone claiming they see it. Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!”

“I ordered something in November and recieved it in December. I started getting collection notices saying I did not pay my bill. I have called 7 times and given three different cards and each time they have reassured me it's taken care of each time. Long behold today get anothet collection notices. No notes to go off of over there, what are you guys doing over there? I've been given reference numbers to confirm the payment was successful but here we are again. Worse company I have ever dealt with. Additionally even when I try to make a payment online, it says I've nevered ordered from here...clearly I have based on the collection notices. I am mailing in my payment today, let's see if you screw that up too.”

“Watch out for reoccurring purchases on your account after a purchase. They automatically sign you up for "perks" and say you did. I never signed up for anything but $14.95 was charged to my account. I was met with rude customer service as well. Never buying from them again.”

“Bad experience? The worst of all ever! No money, no shipping, no answer on my 10! E-mails! This is a poor, bad organized and arrogant company! “Placed an order and a week later most of my items were discounted, some even half off. Called to get a credit for the differences and they refused and said they would process a return label for me to return it all and reorder at discounted price. I said I was not lugging this big box to return it and asked to speak to a supervisor. One was suppose to call me within in 45 mintues to an hour. 3 days later no call back. Did a live chat and same thing was told to me and it would be 24 hours for a supervisor to call me back. I said it already has been 48 hours, so no thank you. Will never order from them again.”

“DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM LAKESIDE COLLECTION! Same thing as others happened to me. Ordered an item, then received email saying to reorder because item had been out of stock and was not back in stock. I reordered, then received first order and few weeks later the second order. I returned second order and NEVER RECEIVED REFUND. If you call customer service you get someone that can you can NOT understand, and they will not transfer you to a Supervisor. Wrote letter requesting refund of $91.99 with proof of everything, of course....NO REFUND!!!!”

“Lakeside - terrible biz model, am surprised they are still in business. I placed my 1st order recently; I received a pop-up saying Free Shipping! Yeah. I just supposed it was automatic. But no, a day later I noticed an email saying "here's what to do to get free shipping'. Well, turns out, I had to fill our forms, jump through hoops, AND become a member. Guess what, lakeside charges cutomers a fee to become a member!!! (which was not explained up front). Its only $1.99 that showed up on my credit card, but its the principal of the thing. Then, I get a notice saying that my purchase amount has to be a certain level over time to get the "free" shipping! Again, not explained up front, unless it was in the fine print. I will never order from this company again, so I will not be getting my shipping charges back - which they call a 'rebate', not a 'refund'. Really bad company. I received my product, and it is really cheapy.”

“So by making an order they enrolled me in a monthly “perks” program without my knowledge! They have been automatically charging my credit card $14.95 a month without my permission! What a fraudulent company!”
