“I ordered a monitor on Friday teatime, used next day delivery and I had the monitor before lunchtime on the Saturday Service was first class and monitor arrived in perfect condition. Happy customer”

“Be extremly cautious if you order an expensive laptop and need to return your order to Laptop direct. I returned my laptop on 9th Jan 2024 with the return label issued by Laptop Direct, but now I'm told the laptop was returned to their old site so they cannot process my refund. I will have to get the laptop back and deliver it to the new site. I followed all the official instructions from Lapdirect in my text message and email, but after 3 weeks of constantly chasing-up with the customer service team, I now had no refund and no longer the order. The customer service team has been given all the return delivery labels I got in my email, the text message instructions and all related emails but they still refused to help (agent MARY DEMETERA). I had no choice but had to contact my bank to do a charge back.”

“4½ out of 5 stars is my rating. Foolishly I assumed this would be Wi-Fi even though it doesn't say so in the spec. I have an ethernet cable but now have a Wi-Fi dongle. Purchasing on the website was easy & I paid for next day delivery - very pleased about that. I could not work out exactly what type of USB are fitted - no sign of blue so reckoned the USBs are USB2, but there are SS type USBs which turn out to be "super speed". I found details of the spec on HP website were also a bit variable - it does say that. Anyway I extracted the USB PCI-e card from my old pc & it works great in this one. The RAM type matches my old pc so maybe one day I may remove that & install in this one. I apologise for rambling. Oh one more thing - the website says the pc comes with 1 year warranty. I have no paperwork saying that but I have taken snapshots of the web page, well just i case. That's it - summary easy to use Laptops Direct website & buy, pleased with the pc.”

“Do not use laptops direct. go to trust pilot and there facebook page and see how bad their customer service is. Any savings you might get will not ... I repeat not be worth it.”

“Posted a £3500 laptop in only its orignal box wrapped in a plastic bag!! Fast delivery but come on your supposed to be specialists, a plastic bag! No box or special pagaging?! Lets see on Christmas day if it works, fingers crossed! I am downgrading my review to only one star now as after opening the damaged box I am not happy with the condition, this is an EXPENSIVE item, to only put it in a plastic bag is ridiculous! This company is supposed to be a laptop specialist! I contact their returns department and was put on hold for 15 mins at 0.13p per min then cut off!!! This is a disgusting company who do not care one bit about customer services, they take your money and laugh at you! AVOID AT ALL COSTS, GO TO A PROFESSIONAL SELLER!”

“Zero stars if I could. Worst customer service I have ever received! Bought a "refurbished" laptop that had fans the sounded like jet engines when just browsing with chrome. After first restart it corrupted windows and never booted again. I returned immediately. They received the return over two weeks ago now and still no refund. Customer service are worse than useless and can't tell me anything other than "it's waiting to be checked". If it takes this long then you need to hire more staff. Completely useless. Would never use them or any of their other companies under the buy it direct Ltd banner. Do yourself a favour and but from someone else and STAY AWAY from the useless company.”

“My order was dispatched and delivered without delay and I was notified every step of the way. The courier gave me a one hour delivery window and delivered it five minutes into that window. It just shows what is possible if they care to apply themselves. If this kind of pinpoint accuracy is achievable by one company, one would imagine all of them would apply themselves to it, but sadly it isn't the case! Thank you very much for exemplary service. “I purchased a refurb Dell Latitude - general condition was very good, new install of Windows 10 and SSD made it perform well. It was let down by case screws missing from the case back and the Dell serial number label had been removed completely. Without the Dell serial number identification of up to date drivers is difficult - fortunately entering F2 on boot enters the BIOS setup where this missing ID is hard burnt into it and cannot be removed. Their customer service was prompt and good - they reimbursed me a sum to self-source the screws which I was happy to do, just disappointed the action was needed at all. Overall I would buy from them again - the minor issues with this refurb PC were more than compensated by getting a very clean machine with original Dell power supply and a reasonably good battery for a 6-year old machine.”
