My wife bought these for me but I injured myself at work, so we are unable to use the lift tickets for the date. No change or transfer available. Terrible customer service.

Not sure why would you want to use that site. The prices here identical to the prices on the individual mountain websites. They are comparing their prices to the ticket window prices which is not exactly apples and oranges as mountain websites have identical discounts. On top of that there is more restrictions on the liftopia as oppose to mountain website (cancellation/refund). As on lifttopia no refunds. The mountain would refund if you bought there directly but would not refund if bought on liftopia

Liftopia is fine with me , but Allianz insurance as part of the mountain collective sucks. They prorate the entire season, so if break your leg and can't use your mountain collective for a march 1 ski trip you only get about 50% of the cost even though you never used the pass once. Misleading and a rip off, don't but the insurance from them.

My review pertains to the Mountain Collective by Liftopia. Not too happy with Mountain Collective. Purchased 8 passes this year, our 8th person had to drop out because of a medical emergency. Delta Airlines and Epic pass heard out the issue and refunded the 8th ticket with ZERO pushback. MC requested a doctor’s note to even consider helping us. Not a problem. I provided the note. After about a week of deliberation on their part, MC has decided to not refund or allow us to change the name on the pass. Not the type of mercy we expected from such an organization who’s Moto is “we’re here to lend a hand, or glove.” Also, we used the 7 passes this week at Squaw. It took about an hour to get registered for our 2 day passes. The counter clerk said that’s how it works at all the parks.

We bought the Mountain Collective Pass with insurance for 2017-18 and as of 2/23/2018 used a grand total of 3 days—2 at Telluride and 1 ar Aspen. Unfortunately, on 2/23 my husband suffered a serious skiing accident which fractured his tibia in multiple places. Obviously our ski season was over. We immediately contacted AIG, the insurance carrier and filed claims for trip interruption. Despite providing all required documentation from the surgeon, receipts proving our purchase and information on the specific number of free days actually used, Liftopia could not be bothered to coordinate with AIG and confirm how many of the free days we were able to use before the accident. Hence, AIG gave us only a tiny fraction of the reimbursement we were due. We will NOT ever buy the Mountain Collective Pass again, nor we will ever do any business with Liftopia! Your customer service is appalling.

If choice btwn buying from Liftopia and the actual mtn - buy through the actual mtn. Price was the same for both - however on a rain out, the mtn allowed me to purchase a different day and and get a refund on the rain out day. Liftopia would not allow me to switch days - $90 lost b/c I bought from Liftopia instead of directly through the mtn. Why would I ever use Liftopia again?

The Kimberley ski hill was the worst ski hill I have ever been too my friend lost her board at the top and they made us walk all the way down it took us 2 hours to get down the hill when we Finally reached some cabins there were 3 workers outside with skidoos they said to go to the other cabin to talk to ski patrol before we got ther a ski patrol a women came out and started getting mad at us cause we lost the snowboard I understand it could’ve hurt someone but it wasn’t our fault everyone around us was trying to catch it but we couldn’t she was one of the rudest people I have ever talked to!!!! She pointed us in a direction so we started to walk and it turned out to be a dead end so I walked all the way back to the first Cabin and got mad because no one was helping us. I don’t know what there protocol is but no one gave us a ride down on the skidoos they use to “save” people with.. I will never go to this ski hill again!

Unwilling to work with you when serious medical circumstances prevent from utilizing tickets. Ridiculous.

Customer Service is terrible. Unable to transfer, unclear stating of tickets being date specific. They will do nothing for you. Will not use again.

Not super great at communicating all tickets are date specific until they already had my money and then I couldn't cancel! Super. Thanks. Never using you guys again.

No where did it state that tickets are date specific, only that it is valid "starting" on the purchase date, and that "This deal is valid for a single day of skiing or riding plus rental equipment at . . ." Never using this company again.

I recommend making clearer that all lift tickets are date specific, and not leaving it until after the purchase is confirmed and then unable to be cancelled or refunded. I reviewed the purchase details carefully before checking out, and no where did it state that it was date specific, only that it is valid "starting" purchase date, and that "This deal is valid for a single day of skiing or riding plus rental equipment at . . ." Perhaps it is the mistake of a first time user, but after my first experience it will also be my last.

The road to the ski resorts were closed down due to too much snow. This was our one day to ski over a Christmas vacation with family we flew across the country for. Wrote customer service to see if we could transfer our 6 tickets to a day the canyon would be open and they said they was nothing they could do. The contract when you purchase tickets basically says the purchase is a gamble. Will never purchase a ticket from liftopia again.
