I ordered a bag on 3 July and the website blurb did not make it clear that there was likely to be a delay in delivery until I had ordered it. They offered a 10% discount if you signed up for marketing emails, which I did. But the 10% discount was not applied even when I enquired about it. I then received a vague email about it possibly taking a bit longer for my bag to arrive because they didn't want to rush the process, etc, etc, I understand that but it was not made clear at the outset that the bag would be unlikely to arrive in a few days, as advertised on the website. I had to chase 3 times before the bag eventually arrived on 8 August - over a month after I ordered it. If I had been informed of this rather than having to chase so many times, and wonder if perhaps I had been the victim of a scam, I would have been much more understanding. There is nothing worse than being fobbed off with incomplete and vague information. Or promises that the bag would arrive in a few days and then having to chase yet again when it didn't. I will not recommend this company to my friends despite the fact the bag is very good quality.

Placed an order on 12/06, CC debited. Still waiting on goods 29/07, phoned twice emailed twice, still awaiting reply. Will need to dispute with credit card provider for refund. Unbelievably poor company.

Dear Ian, We are really sorry to see your negative review. We got back to both your call and emails and we responded to your call to confirm your bag had left. You were very kind to wait so long - the bag in question has been short component parts. For clarity, there is absolutely no reason to have to dispute a payment and the refund would have been done on the same day were it not for the bag leaving. It seemed from the previous correspondence that you would be happy with that as an outcome and we did not hear back from the email sent confirming it had left. We could then have had it returned to us. I do hope we can turn this around for you, and most of all, that you will be really impressed with your case.

I have yet to receive a bag I purchased weeks ago and I have emailed the company several times to ask about it. The tracking number says delivered but the company sent an email a week after that saying they were looking into what happened to my bag. A week after that I got an email from them saying it had shipped. Nothing from them for the last 2 weeks or so. They say they are a small company and care about customer service. I haven’t seen that yet.

Dear Tagir; we are dealing with this, and I am sorry not to respond to your email from Friday. This wasn't intentional. This 'issue' is to do with the courier restrictions to your country apparently. It is in-hand, we just haven't communicated with you very well- I apologise.

I have filled in two different feedback forms already for this Supplier and its bag sold to me However many more am I expected to rate for just 1 product?? This is extremely irritating & just turns me off buying in future from this company if I am going to be harassed like this.

My intenions for buying a bag was to find something of quality that i can use everday: this is a good brand to satisfy. The stitching is superior. The leather is beautiful. It's as versatile as i wanted it to be.

Dear Anonymous It is a shame you had to leave this review when we have done our best to keep in touch with you. This said, you have had a ridiculously long delay. This bag is the only one we carry from this particular brand and it has been in production for a long time. While I fully appreciate this has been a long wait, you would have had a refund honoured immediately if it was requested. My colleague and I have meantime been checking on this every week. The bag is in fact now in transit and I have confirmed this on Friday. Previously we were let down at least twice on the availability. Thank fully this issue is isolated to this bag. Almost all of our bags are in-house and don't have similar issues. I look forward to turning this around for you. Best wishes Teresa

Dear Rob, I am sorry for the mix-up with your bag. As soon as you flagged this, however, I responded to find a solution you would be happy with. When we didn't hear for a few days, we called you. I'm aware that you didn't want to have to drop-off the incorrect bag which is understandable and I should have probably suggested a courier pick up in the first place. Thank you for cooperating with us to exchange for the correct bag and I am sorry for the error. We had mistakenly attached the wrong DHL label to the box. Best wishes Teresa

After a good start from customer services advising there would be a short wait for my order to be delivered, I then had to prod them after a month to find out my order was no longer available in the colour I wanted. After a A LOT of tooing and froing, my order finally arrived almost two months after I initially make it and the colour was still wrong. I ordered a dark brown bag and received a brown bag, not at all the same colour. However, as the order was a gift for my husband's birthday, he has decided he can live with the wrong colour; at least it's not tan. I don't like it though. Disappointed.

Bag was great, unfotunately it arrived late for my daughters birthday. It said it would be delivered in 2-3 days but it had to come from Italy. Ann Lorimer

Excellent quality at competitive prices. A word of warning though, be prepared to wait and then eventually good things will come. This is not a mass market quick turn around business; which is actually is quite reassuring in today’s world, as you can not hurry great craftsmanship.

The bag is great and very well made. Although it took more days than expected to ship the product and almost didn't arrive on time. Also, the engraving wasn't in the place specified (if it wasn't possible to engrave it where i requested no one even bothered to tell me)

Hi Rosa, Really pleased you like the bag. Yes, sometimes the engraving is not where it is requested. It really depends on the bag and how it gets on with the machine! Sometimes it's risky to try to engrave where the customer has asked as it can damage the bag. So, we have a note on the store that we will try our best to accommodate but otherwise it's left in the capable hands of the professionals in the workshop :)

The quality of the bag I ordered was excellent, my only issue was regarding delivery, I feel I wasn't given enough information has to when the product was going to be delivered.

I do like the bag I purchased however the timescale for delivery stated on the web site are unrealistic. You should be more realistic if you have production issues. The bag is good quality however the leather around the stitching of the zip is slightly ridged.

I ordered a convertible handbag/rucksack and it’s absolutely lovely. I was a bit disappointed when I received an email to say, that my order had been delayed but when I emailed the company, to stress that it was a Birthday gift from my husband and I wanted to take it on holiday with me this week, I got a quick reply to say, that my order was on it’s way. Thank you very much. I would definitely recommend this site to my friends.
