"The product was so expensive and of poor quality; I complained but was informed that 72 hours had passed so I have no solution but to return the product in the original packaging. The original packaging had to be thrown away because it smelled so bad. now i have a BAD product."

“I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the reviews saying “DO NOT BUY” because everything I received from Masion Du Monde was PERFECT. Wall art, Bar, Bar Stools, Faux Banana tree and Lamp Shades. All good quality and exactly as advertised.”

“I ordered a small chest of drawers from Maisons du Monde and had to wait 3 months for it to be delivered! When it finally arrived and I removed it from the box it was broken in two places, the wood split along its length. This was due to poor quality wood being used and inadequate packaging. Later I found that Amazon sell cheaper, better made products with next day delivery. So I will not use Maisons du Monde again. I have given 2 stars, because the refund/return process was easy and they have promised a full refund and I can keep the damaged item.”

“Absolutely appalling experience with this company after having paid nearly £600 for a kitchen table I sent a message as after one water spill (that was wiped up immediately) the middle seam has become very badly damaged and rucked up due to what I guess is it not being properly sealed. I am now left with a table that looks an absolute mess and been told by the company it is my problem “because of the use I have of it” Well it’s a kitchen table and so water and drinks are going to be spilt on it, if I had known that a £600 six seater table would be this badly damaged from a small water spill I would never have bought it! Absolutely ridiculous to claim this is the fault of myself when it’s an obvious fault in the materials in the table. I have asked to take this further with a manager.”

“A very expensive hanging egg… I ordered a very expensive hanging egg chair which took 8 weeks to arrive. We were then having garden work done so I opened the package 35 days later only to find the base had rusted - orange rust on a white base. I called the customer service team to rectify only to be told the cut off was 30 days to deal with any customer issues - no flexibility. I’m now stuck with a rusted egg chair. This is frankly terrible customer service.”

“Terrible, terrible service. I ordered a large mirror which arrived with the glass completely shattered. Called to get a refund and they confirmed that they would process a refund within 2 weeks. I didn’t get the refund, called again and they said I would get my refund in the next 3 days. It’s been a month now since I received the broken item and I still haven’t received the refund. They won’t pick up the phone or respond to my enquires.”

“A 1 star is very generous! I ordered a £45 tray with postage on 12 December and it still has not arrived! I have tried to make contact on loads of occasions but there is no email address or any customer service number that works - it just gets cut off. Any ideas? Do not use this company if you want your goods to arrive.”

“Avoid them! We were waiting for our side tables 2 months, they camw completely trashed. No respod from company to return them. This company is a big joke and they are scams! Just choose different company not them! Waist of time and money”

“I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. Faulty goods, long delays and a customer service team that doesn’t exist. Only way to contact them is via social media to which you get an automated response. How are they even allowed to still trade?!”

“Website seems genuine and looks good. But don't be fooled. There are no customer service teams. The phone lines are turned off and not working. My item arrived damaged and i cannot contact them to get a refund. 1) This company should not be allowed to sell. 2) This company should not be selling if they have no customer service team. 3) This to be sounds like the work of Fraudsters I have yet to receive a refund!”

“Avoid to order @ this company Very bad quality Not possible to return as promised No answer to my emails and no answer on the phone After 6 weeks they propose an indemnity of 150€ for a dressing full of default the price was 1750€ Expensive and no quality”

“Ordered dining table and chairs, arrived damaged and of terrible quality. No response to emails or telephone calls. I have put the matter in the hands of Paypal to retrieve my money. DO NOT use this company ever. They ship Chinese rubbish and do not even inspect it before delivery.”

“Not only did the website fail to mention it would take over a month for the item to arrive (which was expensive anyway and ambiguous as to where it was shipped from), the items were extremely poor quality. Half of the leaves of the synthetic hanging plants were broken off or pulled out from the badly glued base. The items were much smaller than appeared on the website. A complete waste of money.”

“Expensive furniture, terrible customer and delivery service. We bough 5 items, we receive first 2 of them some days ago, yesterday HALF of the bed and who knows how many more deliveries we need to wait and when we will have everything finally. The part we did receive of the bed have dents and cracks. I've took some pictures but no mail to send them. So well... if anyone have an email would be appreciated. And please, before buying think twice, there are a lot of better sites to buy furniture.”
