“What a p¥#s poor custoner service, my wife locked herself out of account accidently and spent over an hour on the phone trying to resolve the login issue but they couldn't help her, total failure. Account closure pending.”
“Well this is first of two very different reviews. We opened our joint account with M&S Bank about two years ago. The lovely service assistant, Janet, was really helpful and could not do enough to help us. We spent an entertaining two hours in the Merry Hill store while she explained the details of their banking service, opened up our new account and managed our internet access set up. This was all in middle of a heatwave. I have to say the M&S bank assistants all deserve five star reviews. I hope they have found new positions now all of the in store banking has been closed.”
“Sad to have to change banks. Was annoying for both my mother and myself. Part of HSBC but we haven't moved to HSBC despite the offer of an incentive as don't appreciate the reasons for having to switch account. My mother went back to her previous bank and myself am going back to a previous bank.
Won't be moving again. Sad they are closing but no problem.
Anyone banking with HSBC I'd think twice about banking with them which M and S was a part of. Only a matter of time before they pull out the UK banking market altogether like in France.”
