Have been a Customer of Matches for years . I recently bought Gucci fine jewellery 18ct gold earrings as a Xmas gift for my daughter . They were delivered in a plastic bag , without a Gucci box or packaging . On enquiring with Gucci , have been informed that no fine jewellery is sold without a box and packaging . I have complained, but I have been totally dismissed .

The worst experience ever... I was scammed 1st time in 20 years of online shopping history..... this is a criminal company!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shocking service !!!! Please be aware that returns work with Matches if you are lucky. I ordered for big amount and when I received the goods they were not as on website and in wrong sizes. Matches sent me return label and DHL collected the parcel and after that no goods, no money. When I contacted Matches they apologized and said they can’t return me the money or neither products. That that have administration policy and “sorry”. That’s it. No money, no products. I’m shocked!

Invents a no return policy that is written nowhere! Trying to return clothes well within the time frame for returns as stated on the website. I purchased two items (one on sale and one non sale) on the 1st of March, and payed to have it sent express, so it arrived on the 4th. of March. Today (10th of March) I tried to return the items, but this turned out to be impossible. The reply is, that returns are not possible for good purchased before march 8. This does not make any sense, as two days from purchase would be an impossible time limit for returns. I cannot recommend buying anything from Matchesfashion. I have made many purchases here in the past, but since I am now stuck with clothes, that do not fit, I will not take that risk again. Be sure, that the purchase is right or do not buy from MF. Mytheresa is a very reliable alternative.

I would never recommend this company. They dont follow retail laws and seem to me a scam. I ordered 4 months ago a pair of trainers from them and they sent me a wrong pair with completely different size. I called and complaint that was acknowledged after weeks and I was told to take pictures of wrong item sent. I didn't it straight away and they agreed that it was a wrong item so i had to send it back. I never heard from them for almost 2 weeks. Upom chasing for good 2/3 weeks, I was told that money will be refunded in next 5 days. I waited another week but nothing. So I had to chase again and everytime was a new agent so they had to investigate over and over again. I got so frustrated as they did not process any money and took my trainer as well. They were zero apologetic and kept delaying the process. Everytime different agent assured me that money wil be processed shortly and it never happened. They were illegally keeping my money and trainer and after more than 2 months they told me that refund won't be processing as its now out of 30 days period . I was shocked on their negligence and stupidity as how they could even come up with this excuse when they had the wrong trainer back with in a week. I asked to spoke to any manager but all the time managers were away or busy. No one gave me a satisfactory answer for ages. After almost 3, I managed to speak to a manager who came up with sonething completely new that trainers sent to me were the correct so i need to have the same trainers as for them someone during transit of my delivery sealed my order so it's not there responsibility and I need to keep the wrong trainer. I was completely in shock as they don't have any store and they only way to speak to them is either a phone or an email. I am so helpless as I don't know who to report this fraud, I paid 135 pounds and they want me to keep a trainer worth 70 pounds cz of the delivery company's mistake and I even don't know as they just come up with some stupid excuse not to refund me but keep the wrong item. The staff including managers are so unprofessional and manipulator. I feel so helpless as my money and trainers are with them and I can't do anything. They are definelty not following retail laws and if someone doesn't take it to court they can commit this fraud so easily. I was told several times that my refund wil be processed and after almost 3 months they changed there verdict 6 times and everytime they came up with some new excuse not to refund. I got so frustrated in the end and helpless that I even asked them to give me correct size of whatever trainer they sent me but the manager I spoke to was so rude that she did not help at all and wanted me to keep the wrong trainer as they knew I couldn't take it to court as I never did in last 3 month's so they knew I can't cause any harm. I never posted on social media and they observed it for 3 months and kept promising me to refund until they realised that I'm not taking any legal action as well as taking it to social media so they changed but I was waiting for them to reconcile this fraud. I would not recommend them at all as they are selling expensive brands and its so easy for them to deliver cheaper items and profit from the extra money and wait if the customer is weak, then fool them and keep the difference as they don't have any stores and you can't access them.

I bought a product on this company. Product arrived but had to return. The idea was to buy a different size that would fit better. The return was accepted but the credit would never arrive. Contacted them and they stated that they went into "administration" and couldn't proceed with the credit. So, in the end, I lost the money and the product as well. The company pulled a scam and it is a shame that companies like these still exist.

I simply cannot get hold of them! This is madness. 2 orders return … no refund!! I called / emailed / sent watts app and nothing. I am tempted to go to the store in London. But obviously I suspect they will tell me they cannot help as it’s just a store. This is absolute madness.

They sold clothes that you longer owned as part of their financial debacle. Bottega veneta, saint Laurent, Gucci,….all this brands have disappeared from the website. I’m sure these advertisers had already withdrawn their trust from them before march 8th. Yet They had put them on sale since i bought on the website on march 7 a bottega veneta denim. That s probably why they couldn’t deliver it. I didn’t receive it and they refuse to refund it. They are stealing customers. FRAUD. ONLY FRAUD.

I had the confirmation from a Matches rep that almost all packages shipped on March 6 and 7 were called back and sent back to their warehouse and they don’t want to refund the customers saying they are not legally responsible of orders before March 8!! They were responsible enough to call back packages already shipped to keep the items and resell it on their website but not to give the customers their refunds ?! So they stole orders made before March 8 and say it’s not their responsibility… We PAID for these items! Deliver our orders or REFUND plain and simple! I am completely shocked by this kind of behavior, I never ever thought in my life I would be scammed by a big retailer like Matches 😣

Fraudulent! I had some issues with their website and contacted Customer Service for the return label. I was sent a return label and return forms via email AFTER they went under administration only to find out today, that I won’t get a refund or the clothes (back) I have apparently now paid for. I received 3 Customer Service emails in total, none of which stated that they won’t be able to “honor” the refund. Now they’re “terribly sorry for any inconvenience” aka stealing 600€ from me and hundreds of thousands from others. I don’t know how this is not illegal.

I made order on 28 th of Feb and received it on 29th and returned it on 3rd of March. It was delivered to UK on 11.03.2024. Matchesfashion is not refunding me and not answering me. total scam. They sent me return labels in the first place.

We should also leave negative reviews at Frasers group page. They chose not to honor refunds for returns made! Same story with many others. I returns the items on the 9th March after submitting return request successfully on the 7th March. Returns reached Matches on the 12th March. Refund was refused! Customer service told me to go to my bank for help.

Omg, is it a bad joke? This is the biggest scam every! I was able to click the return button, everything seemed fine and I just found out that i will not receive back my money? How is it even possible? Do not buy there, it looks like i just lost 1,100 euro

I had the same experience as the previous two reviews. I’ve been trying to log a return online on their app and website but I didn’t get the option to select the items for return. When I eventually emailed customer service today I was told that ‘orders placed with MATCHES prior to 8th March 2024 cannot be returned.’ As previous reviewers pointed out Matches is breaking their own 14-day return policy with this statement. And what’s with the 8th of March??? I’ve been trying to contact them by phone or chat on their app and website, and I cannot get through. Something weird is going on and very unlike Matches.

THEY ARE REFUSING TO ACCEPT MY RETURN FOR FULL PRICED ITEM AND REFUSING TO REFUND ME!! They never wrote anywhere item could not be returned and now are making it up saying items bought prior to 8th march cannot be returned!! This is outrageous and I don’t know where to report this. It’s a theft!!

Matches Fashion's customer service is beyond abysmal. Despite returning my item, they conveniently "lost" it and refused to provide any proof. Three attempts to seek an explanation were met with utter silence. This blatant negligence and disregard for customers are utterly disgraceful. Avoid this company at all costs. Your money and sanity are better off elsewhere.

OMF54681059- Refusal to Refund I recently returned three items to Matchesfasion and was only refunded for two. Further investigation revealed that I had forgotten to tick all three boxes of the online return form. I subsequently phoned Matchesfashion to explain that the item had indeed been in the parcel. They dragged their feet and after phoning them almost daily over a period of two weeks, they finally claimed they were conducting an investigation. Another week elapsed and I had to chase them with several more phone calls, after which Karim, their senior customer care official, finally wrote to let me know that they would NOT be refunding me. Without providing any plausible evidence that the missing item had not been returned, he unilaterally closed the case. I have subsequently written to him twice, but he has ignored my emails. I would like to ask Karim why he thinks someone in my economic bracket would take the time and trouble to phone daily, write no fewer than three lengthy emails to customer care and now write this review? The reason, very simply Karim, is that I feel deeply wronged and aggrieved. I personally packed the returns parcel in question and sealed it myself. I personally returned it to DHL, who subsequently proved that they did not tamper with the parcel. Matchesfashion believes the customer is always WRONG. Matchesfashion steals its customers' money. Matchesfashion does not keep to its promise to refund returns. Matchesfashion refuses to admit that the problem lies within. I will never again shop at Matchesfashion, and I suggest you don't either
