After reading other reviews, it sounds like they are talking about a completely different company than what I have experienced. I have found them to be professional, quick to respond to resolve any issues, and they even apologize when a mistake has been made. Because it is food that isn’t perfect, you do have to do a bit of experimenting on what to order. I have learned to stay away from the steaks for the most part but their burger, pork and chicken is excellent. Lettuce is typically not a good choice, but they have a lot of produce that is wonderful. And, their nuts, snacks, cereal and bakery items are all great. If you get an item that is bruised or not edible, your account is immediately refunded. I am also very happy to be purchasing food that would have otherwise gone to waste. Our country is the most food wasting country on earth so I love the concept and am willing to receive an occasional bruised pear or whatever in order to get all the totally edible and tasty food they do ship.

I have been using Misfits Markets since 2020. I have seen a lot of improvement in the freshness of the delivery's. My food is always perfect and fresh now. But what is the most impressive is if you have a problem you can email them and they will actually fix that problem. My eggs were getting broken during delivery so they got a special bubble wrap to fix it. They are a wonderful company that meet much of our food needs.

Other than one order getting waylaid a few days due to a significant snowstorm in the East Coast, we have been very pleased with the product, packaging, and account flexibility of Misfits Market. I am very happy to recommend this service.

I have had a great expirence with Misfits. It is exciting to be able to pick my veggies for my next shipment. They look as good if not better than the produce on the store shelves. They use minimal packing material which I love. The price is great for the value, looking forward to being a customer for a long time!

Well first shipment was fantastic all neat and pack to perfection 2nd shipment missing most of my order and was bill for all of it. Packing looked like it was thrown in Going to cancel subscription. I should of read reviews. There is no phone number to speak your concern they take your money.

Poor quality of produce. I have tried them several times- the last box had rotting fruit in it. No more.

I enrolled in Misfits before seeing these reviews! Honestly, I got a little nervous. BUT, I just got my delivery and it's awesome! Everything is in good shape, and I received everything ordered. I want to put it out to anyone questioning signing up: give it a try. So far so good for me (albeit one delivery) but I'm so happy to help reduce food waste and to support organic farmers. :)

I’m over the moon with this service. Fresh, organic, and at a discount, what’s not to love? And it comes directly to my door. Customer service is fantastic. No membership fees. I get the small box for myself and it is plenty for a weeks worth of meals. Plus, by shopping in this way I’m eliminating waste of good food, saving time, and keeping myself safe by staying at home? I highly recommend Misfits Market!

I have been very happy with the shipments and am getting ready to make my order today. I love the variety of vegetables and enjoy looking up recipes to make a variety of dishes. I have received at least 5 boxes. I also like the fact that I do not have to leave my house!!!!!

Been a member for 6 months. We get the larger 35$ box. For 2 people that eat a LOT of veggies it is great! If there is damaged produce they credit right away, the customer service is outstanding! The produce is always great quality. Only con is how much you get of each item is very variable, you may get 4 small potatoes, or 6 huge ones. If you like to plan that makes it hard. However if you are flexible and don't mind 5 heads of celery one week, and 3 pounds of ginger another occasionally (only 2 out of 12 boxes had extravagant excess of one variety) then give it a try!

We live in the far Northeast. I ordered a $35 box. Only 1 item was substituted where I got blueberries vs. blackberries. The food was really good tasting. I did need to freeze up some peppers and candy some ginger because I got so much. I was really impressed. It was timely and well packaged.

Great customer service; they always let me know when they've received my order, when it's been shipped, and when it has been delivered. They also let me know if there will be a delay which has happened maybe once in the past 4 months. I added an extra item to my order which ended up not being in the package; when I emailed their customer service, they got back to me the same day and refunded me right away. I've had a great experience so far.

I was surprised to see so many negative reviews! I received my box today, all items looked great and were barely blemished. They were not washed which was okay with me, for the price, and all my add on's were there. The only downside is that this is a first come first service box deal. So, if you are not the first o ne to pick your items, they sell out fairly quick. With that, I did get a few things I would not buy nor know quite what to do with, like golden beets. But, I found they are yummy raw so may just cut them up and eat that way. Next time I receive my notification I can pick my contents, I will be sure to jump on earlier!

My first box arrived early in the day, by Postal Service no less. Can't blame the company for late deliveres. Ordered Friday and delivered Monday. The box is insulated, with an extra ice bag in it. I like it so far, no complaints at all. One celery stick was a bit mushy, but I'll take that if it is the only problem. Customer service is via email, which is not so good it you have an immediate problem. They should have a cheap VOIP phone for the purpose. Check out MagicJack, been using it for years as a customer. I bet it would really help this co. No idea if they have live chat or not. I am on the small box every two weeks, will order again. Can't rate the customer svc. as I haven't used it yet. I have no reason to be anonymous, but do not need extra spam so please do not publish my email addy. Thanks.

I have been very happy with my Misfits box! Delivery issues, that were no fault of Misfits Market, were refunded almost immediately. The company is doing a great job!

We have been customers for almost a year now. Most of the products look similar to what you would get in the store, no obvious problems. We get the larger box for a family of three and usually gobble up all of the contents, no problem. Every time I have had a missing item or any problem whatsoever I simply snap a photo and send it to them and they are very responsive. Within a day or two they have returned my money and apologized. A missing item or two does happen fairly frequently so it’s important to check. Despite that, we are sticking with it. We are eating much healthier than ever before! Though many of these products might be available in a grocery store near me, the convenience and the price and the fun of opening the boxes makes it worth it!

I had my second box and had mixed experiences with the items received. Veggies are usually in better condition than fruits. In both boxes, I got fruits that are premature, but I managed to eat them in different ways (i.e. mango salad) and can take a little sour, so that wasn't too bad for me. Maybe fruits are more popular in the market and the leftovers are those either not riped or on the shelf for too long. The good part of this service is that I get a wide range of veggies that I would've never bought myself without Misfits. Trying new recipes is quite enjoyable. Opening boxes is fun, sometimes I get items that are way above my expectation. Plus I don't need to go out shopping worrying about COVID. The cost is acceptable given all organic. Overall, I enjoy Misfits so far.

OK its my first box... disappointed to see such bad reviews. 4 people at work RAVE about this company and one of them has been using misfits for 6 months! Here's my first impressions November 2020: 1. Box arrived 1 day early! A super happy surprise as my fridge happened to be very low and I desperately needed food! 2. There was TONS of produce in my box--especially wonderful greens which I love and again needed immediately. 3. If you don't put you order in right when ordering window opens... many great items sell out ---so that kind of stunk but now I know I just need to order early. 4. Here's the bad---eggplant had many mushy spots> half got ditched. portion broccolini and yellow squash were MEASLY... not enough for 1/2 person... forget "2 people" in my small box size 5. raddichio was half moldy and rotten... got ditched and brussel sprouts had bad spots on them. otherwise.. they threw in so many onions I am going to have to give some out! so some portions were generous as I mentioned. Also I was impressed with their marketplace a la carte choices and will likely use that a lot (nut milks, oils, nuts, nut butters, coffee, etc!_

I read several negative reviews, but decided to give Misfits a try anyway. Have had 3 boxes delivered and everything has been fresh and good quality. The only caution I have is that you have to be flexible about your menu until you see what arrives. For example, I ordered russet potatoes thinking I might use them for oven fries, but the couple that came were so small I couldn't, so I used them for soup. Also have ordered zucchini and got one that was quite small--so stir fry. I think the convenience and price.
