RETURNING CUSTOMER quote for 2nd year dearer than taking out a new policy through Compare the market even when renewing 2 weeks early.

Unfortunately I received two reminders to pay my premium for my car insurance at the end of September and early October despite having paid it on 20th September for a year's insurance which didn't commence until 13th October. I spent a good 15 minutes on the phone sorting this out and was told it would take 72 hours to rectify the problem as my payment had gone into the wrong account. (Goodness knows how as I just filled in the details on line). Slightly annoying.

Spoke to someone about insurance for my daughter found her Rude and very unhelpful...when I did renew my insurance the lady was helpful...

Shame clients need to use insurance search engine before getting a better deal. Renewals too expensive!!! Be loyal to loyal customers!!!

I was sent a quote for a renewal which I thought was steep. I had to go through the rigmarole of a new quote to get a proper price ... I think More Than should give this as an option and not just send out a renewal quote with a price increase. I’m happy with the outcome but I had to chase it. This is not good service.

The quotation for my motor insurance was really good. The completion of the online deal however was fraught with problems. Whilst the payment was confirmed the policy details were not including the policy number. Several phone calls and emails did receive attention with promises that documents would be produced and posted. The problem seems to have been with a glitch with the online system.. Documents diddulyarrive so all appears in order

Took ages to sort this out. I did find out though that loyalty did not matter a jot. I was surprised at the big rise in premium this year and decided to consult a ‘Compare Site’ instead of my usual acceptance of the premium WITHOUT QUESTION. I got a shock to find that I could must better value by getting another quote. I shall be more wary next time!

So stupid that I had to cancel my existing policy and then buy a new policy online with same provider to save £17.00 per month on the premium

Apart from the very helpful lady that finally resolved the problems I was having with the website, which crashed and despite previous telephone re-assurances a double payment was taken from my account arising from two previous calls. My overall impression of the service was poor. I am also not convinced that your website works well, still crashes and buffers. Final point is that it would be helpful if all telephone contacts were included on the insurance paperwork, I had to go back onto your website to find the breakdown contact number.

Did my car insurance and paid for it on line, had to ring up as no conformation or acknolagement of my taking and paying for the car insurance. When ringing up there was no conformation of my insurance or payment, had to go thought details of payment to verify. Was told that the insurance had not been prosesed, that they will send me conformation by email within 24 hours to which I didn’t receive. Had to ring again on the insurance due date as wasn’t sure if I was insured or not, ask for the insurance policy to be emailed so I had it. Paper policy followed. Not happy, don’t think I’ll renew with More th>n

My insurance was initially cancelled as they did not receive my NCD even though I had proof that I had sent it twice. I tried to call on Saturday only to find the department was open Mon-Fri. This caused a lot of stress as I was unable to drive my car. On the positive side they sorted out on Monday and got my insurance all set up again. My suggestion would be weekend opening hours and a bit more communication (perhaps by email or phone as well as letter) when asking for further information.
