Ignorant and sarcastic head office customer service staff replies to customer complaints.

Coming to the end of June and Morrisons Grays, Essex STILL have not changed over their parking meters to take the new pound coins?! The 'new' pound coin became legal tender in March?! The scenario is that, you queue to pay at a parking meter (when you find one that is working?!) you haven't got an old pound coin. You go instore (hoping you wont get nicked by the very zealous parking enforcement officers), queue again to swap your new coin for an old one, then find the store has run out....... eventually go back to the meter payment machine, queue again and then get your ticket. This is old people in the extreme sun, in the pouring rain. You complain instore. They just toe the company line. You complain to customer services, they give meaningless (and totally incorrect) responses - and still nothing has been done. Here I come ALDI!!

I always do my shop in Morrisons Kilmarnock store but recently been going elsewhere it is one of the most under staffed supermarkets I have ever been in,seen smaller supermarkets with a lot more staff. I once waited almost 20minutes to get bread sliced because the baker was put on a till, must lose business due to this.staff are friendly enough and also seen the night cleaners helping out the customers which I think is great.

Its just not as good as it used to be , prices up , selection down , offers on Morrison's card getting less and less . Better than Tesco and Asda ....BUT we get our bargains from B&M ( a MUCH better store ) or Aldi . Morrison's are heading in the being crap direction quickly . Their own brands seem to disappear , now photography is being farmed out to Timpson's or something like that . Guess its the way the UK in general is going , rip off GT Britain volume 7.

Pre ordered Christmas turkey, trimmings and vegetables for collection from the Rhyl store on 23rd December. No vegetables or trimmings and a bird with a best before date of 26th December. Fortunately I have other supermarkets locally who could provide. Thank you and goodbye Morrisons you've lost my custom.

Unfortunately the staff that handle meat and fish on the raw counters in all Morrisons stores across the country do not wear gloves, work on surfaces that invite contamination between raw meat and fish (as a fish allergy sufferer this is an issue for me) and routinely spray their work surface (where they cut their meat) with chemicals in between serving customers. If disposable gloves and some simple foil or paper was used on counters, so many health and safety hazards would have been avoided. They openly discouraged me from shopping from their raw meat counter because they can't guarantee that the butcher washed their hands after handling fish. In fact, the manager stated that employees don't wash hands between serving customers, but only as often as they can or want. It's a shame Morrisons don't want to do more to keep their customers.

Shopping at Morrison's Bilston store I wanted to buy one of the 'extra large' chickens advertised as a special buy, both on TV and on the shelf as weighing between 2.2 and 2.4 kg at a price of £5. There were 17 of these chickens on sale, marked as 'extra large' but not one of them was over 1.8 kg (weight shown on the wrapping) I could have bought a 'large' size chicken weighing more than this for £4. The staff member I spoke to could not understand this at all and said they were the biggest ones they had in stock. Surely this is against the trade description act!

I never write as i understand so much.  i work in this i dustry but im so disappointed! I normally go to your branch in woodgreen but lately is just unbelievable... I can't find any products  Today no pinenuts, butternut squash aubergine, basil!... And last week I went on Wednesday not even milk... This is ridiculous... With so much competition you should be on top of the game as you are loosing sales and customers!

In Banbury store customer café, stood near food order point nobody around "said hello" nobody responded see sign saying lane closed on order point. This is most appalling and annoying to customer service. Anyway replied again "hello anybody serving" still no one then some short grey hair man with glasses appeared "said rudely can u stop shouting" I was deeply appalled buy his rudeness and said I wish to speak to Store Manager. Shame on u Morrisons

For many weeks now I have found that the fruit and vegetables are of very poor quality. To the point that unless you eat the veg within a day or two they spoil quite spectacularly. Also there is almost always a broken down fridge or two spewing water over the floor and items placed wrongly on the shelves giving misleading prices. Come on morrisons this just is not good enough!

We always shop at the Morrison's in Yeovil as it is close to us and usually everything is OK but this week we bought some fresh cod or we thought was fresh but when we got home and my husband went to cut it,it had a white worm in the flesh and the fish smelt badly after it was unwapped. My husband took it back to Morrison's and got a refund and was asked for a contact number number and our address. The staff was really helpful but it has put us off buying the fish from there again. Shurley the fishmongerthere would of smelt that fish was not right when it was packed?

Used Morrisons online service for the first time - never again. Life is too short to do this again. The order took three times as long to input as any other retailer due to the user-unfriendly search and display of the products. The fish ordered had a use-by date of 2 days but was off when I went to use it. When I rang customer service I was told they have a policy of how long after an order you can ring, which I had exceeded! They could send me a voucher towards another online order only, which I refused. The delivery man was helpful and friendly, and apologetic for being late. No substitutions on the order. However, overall not recommended.

Very few helpful staff. Customer ‘Service’ desk, “Help Here” desk and deputy Manager all totally unhelpful. Have twice complained: the first time I got no response whatsoever; the second time Morrison’s wrote and told me they had forwarded the Uncle Ben’s 2-minute rice to Uncle Ben’s because they, Morrison’s, did not make it! Uncle Ben’s sent a £3 voucher – for their produce - with a standardised letter. (The rice came out of the microwaved bag looking like turd.) On a happy note, I once tripped over and fell in Waitrose. The staff were very friendly and helpful; they insisted on taking my name and address, although I insisted I was OK, if a bit shocked. Within 5 days they sent me a £25 voucher. No surprise that I now shop at Waitrose, particularly since the newest Morrison’s marketing effort, ‘Match & More’ is no use whatsoever.
