So many issues with mpb, have happened over 5 weeks ago. Lens not delivered and wrong lens sent. Sent the incorrect lens back and have heard nothing but excuses to get my money back which is over £1000. Alot of money especially at christmas time. I have emailed over 30 times without a response. Been on live chat every day and noone responds. I get a email saying we will resolve this by 5pm and what a surprise nothing. I have now had to report this to the police and trading standards. Also opened a dispute with my bank. Its absolutely disgusting and the customer service is appauling. How do these people sleep at night!!!! Not something I want to be dealing with at Christmas time. I am now writing all over social media to try and get a response. A robbing company! DO NOT USE

Never a problem until this transaction. Traded for a camera, they sent email to complete the sale on Tuesday morning. I paid promptly, within 30 minutes of receiving the email, which inlcuded 2-day FedEx so it would be here before the weekend. It did not ship tuesday OR wednesday. In an email with their "customer service" rep KARA wednesday evening, i was promised a refund of my shipping fees and told that it would be sent out thursday via overnight shipping - so that i would have it by the weekend. I needed it for an event on saturday evening. None of this happened and i never received replies to emails that i sent - after the original. It was actually sent on thursday but by express saver FedEx with scheduled delivery on tuesday of the next week. Slower and cheaper than i paid for and they promised. I was fed lies and emails ignored. They have really dropped the ball here and sacrificed my business event on the weekend. After this - i can not recommend MPB to friends and colleagues !!

MPB sent me a message saying I was not at home when delivery was attempted - while I was standing by the door waiting for the delivery, having waited in all day for a non-delivery. Unfortunately, MPB use dpd as couriers, and after this Kafkaesque experience, dpd also sent me a photo of an entirely different property as spurious 'proof' that they had attempted delivery of a camera. Order cancelled, but MPB have now taken payment for this non-delivery, and the long wait for a refund has begun. I have nothing to show for this, apart from a couple of largely wasted days. Helpful support staff, but I'd never use MPB again - they seem aware of dpd's dismal reputation in some areas, but still use them.

Disgraceful Ordered a Nikon 16-35mm lens from the MPB website, they described as like new, and wasn't much cheaper than a brand new one, so I had very high expectations. When received I noticed the focus ring didn't have a very smooth action, and when gently shaking the lens I could her loose parts. BUT WORST OF ALL SCRATCH ON REAR LENS GLASS ELEMENT!! Got back in touch with MPB and expected a prompt refund, given their attempt at conning me. No I had to keep chasing for a refund, it wasn't until I threatened Credit Card Chargeback, did something happen. NO APOLOGIES NO SMALL GESTURE TO HELP COMPENSATE ME ....NOTHING!!! THIS COMPANY MPB SUCKS!!!

Ive used mpb multiple times with a decent experience. I recently sent in my Nikon 70-200 for a trade and they said the autofocus motor was damaged even though I had used that lens daily so I know it was working fine. I asked what they meant by that and zero response. Ive emailed two more times and its been 6 days now with nothing. I would like my lens back and the 5 minutes it would take you to respond to my email and ship it back would be a lot better than having me sit for 6 days not getting back to me. THANKS MPB

I accepted an offer for two perfectly functioning Fuji cameras. They came back saying one of them didn’t power up. What? They offered a dramatically lowered offer for the one camera. I rejected the offer and requested both cameras be returned. After multiple emails, I continue to get bot automated email responses. No cameras returned, no communication. It’s been weeks now. Can’t recommend

Terrible! paid just over £1800 for a Canon 5D mark 4 rated as excellent! came in a battered box with "as good as new" stickers on box which is a German company that sells photography gear!! Grey import!?? weblink here https://asgoodasnew.de There was no camera strap and no instructions camera was just thrown in box no protection and was marked! Avoid this company!!!

On February 25, 2022 MPB agreed to purchase my Panasonic Lumix camera and 2 lenses for $215. Below is a copy of email I received from MPB USA From: mpb.com Sent: Thursday, February 24, 2022 4:31 PM Subject: Your items have been checked by our product specialists! Re: TX-4880601 Thank you for choosing MPB! This is a huge bummer for me to write. Over the last couple years I have bought and sold a fair amount of equipment through mpb. It was an easy transaction and they have a huge inventory. Unfortunately, the honeymoon ended when I purchased (well, tried to purchase) an Olympus OM-D E-M1X for what I thought was a great deal. HOWEVER, i received in the mail a canon 1d mkii. This was way off, like not even the same field. Luckily I had taken screen shots of the order with pictures of the body they were selling. I contacted them, and basically was told 'welp, that sucks. The website was wrong, our bad.' This wouldn't have been a big deal if I hadn't already spent over $900 on lenses from a few other suppliers. I explained I had purchased other lenses and now, I don't have a body to use them, and that there's no way I'll see a return on them if i sold them. I asked for a discount in some manner on another body. "We'll send the screen shots and details onto management and they 'might ' get a hold of you. That's the last time I've heard from them despite several emails, calls, and smoke signals. It's in my opinion they aren't for the actual photographer or artist and are just for the money. So, do with this what you will. Remember there other companies that actually care for the artist and will work to rectify their mistakes.

In searching for excellent condition used Canon 5DS R body mpb was suggested in a review as place to check. Fond a body for lower price than many other sites from mbp so ordered body Feb 22. Got order confirmation email but here it is Sat Feb 26th and after 4 phone calls and 3 emails my order still not processed! Put block on my paypal account against this order. Wish I would have read these reviews earlier. I completely agree with all these 1 star reviews about the appalling customer service and the way this company operates. And somewhat ironically in last 2 days contacted both B&H Photo and Adorama about trade-in couple of my used photo pieces...got emailed shipping labels within same day and Adorama delivered a used item next day no extra cost - now that's excellent customer service! DO NOT ORDER FROM MPB!!!!

I tried MPB a couple of times to purchase used camera bodies. In comparison with B&H or Adorama, their customer service is what you would expect from a company selling used equipment at bottom-of-the-market prices -- suspicious, brusque, unreliable (in terms of ever getting back to me, the customer). I'm sure that they have to deal with a lot more fraud than the top tier camera stores, and if you can't afford to shop at one of the better stores, then MPB does provide an alternative. Personally, I will happily pay the 10-15% premium to get excellent the customer service, reliable delivery and knowledgeable sales staff provided by Adorama or B&H.

Untrustworthy Charlatans. They are no better than a grubby back street pawn brokers run by a money hungry fagin MPB will buy an item and downgrade the item quality as good then resale the same item as excellent at a very inflated price. From performing some basic maths there average mark up is 44% on every item. Therefore to confirm for every item sold they have marked the price up by 44%!!!!!!

Ridiculous service. They don't bother to send an email to customer if they have a question. That your delivery address and address where card is registered makes them not to send an email to you. When payment is verified by VISA there cannot be any misuse of the card. In result we needed new camera to this weekend special event which we aren't now getting. Very dissapointed to this service and that will result me spending now double of the money in local shop to be able to get some pictures from this bank holiday weekend trip. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND LAZY SERVICE. DOESN'T TAKE A LOT TO SEND EMAIL IF THERE IS A DOUBT. ARE THEY EVEN ALLOWED TO ASK REASON WHY DELIVERY ADDRESS AND BILLING ADDRESS ARE NOT SAME. THIS IS PRIVATE MATTER THAT ONLINE SHOP SHOULD NOT ASK!!!?

Ordered a Canon 24-105f4L Which arrived and was faulty, the AF didn’t work, that went back and I had another lens recommended by them, this arrived and was damaged the front lens element had a deep gouge in it. I contacted them and received an email from Nick Heard which I responded to but received no reply, rang them yet again and was offered a third lens,I declined and asked for a refund, MPB have had the second lens back and I am still waiting for a refund, have left them messages as there is no reply to the phone. Luckily I used PayPal so I am going to have to open a dispute against MPB. I would never use them again they used to be good but now are awful. Use them at your own peril.

we sent a camera and lens to them for selling they offered us 900. once they checked it out they said 600. we asked them to send it back and we checked what they said was wrong. they are complete liars. there was no scratches on body or lens, the areas they talked about even had protective covers like they did from day one. Absolute con men.

Had an awful experience today with mpb , the customer service is atrocious, just because I have had to return items due to incorrect condition advertised I was subject to abuse today from a representative, I left a review in trustpilot and I was accused of doing that just so I can get money off gear, I was also subject to abuse for having a few personal email addresses !! What on earth has this got to do with them? They have zero people skills and earn a lot of money from trade ins but when it doesn’t go their way eg returns they frown upon you, I tried to complain about the person throwing accusations and abuse my way but nothing was done as they were probably sat next to each other like a couple of cackling witches , I can only say to you all please refrain from using this dreadful malicious company with a bunch of cocky children employees !!

MPB will under no circumstance cancel/reverse a trade - do not do business with them. Sent in merchandise and after payment offer was made but before accepting, there was no option presented to cancel the trade. Once accepted, I called them and they stated that the trade cannot be cancelled under any circumstances. Just know that Adorama, B&H, KEH, and others have amazing customer service and are willing to work with you on such matters - including reversing a trade. Do not buy or sell anything to MPB - you have been warned

I would NEVER purchase again from www.mpb.com. They sold me a broken camera and REFUSED to exchange or refund the camera after they agreed to refund in writing, they changed their mind. I bought a camera to use for live streaming, and the HDMI output was broken on this a6500. Supposedly, they tested all the cameras BEFORE selling however they sold me a broken a6500. I'm screwed with a broken camera, and I'm out $500. Thanks, MPB!
