“Took what i thought was a one of payment and 2 days later £29.80, this is simply a scam by the company, avoid like the plague.”

“STAY AWAY! THIS IS A SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE - Scammers - paid for car check £5 and then within 2 days they took £29.90 from my account and again a month later. The terms and conditions must be so small as lots of people have fallen foul of them. DO NOT USE”

“Thieves, took 29.90 out of my account, twice!! Gonna go to the bank and get my money back. Tried to log into their site... Can't get a reset password to log into the account, says reset link emailed, buy nothing arrives... (and all this money taken out after 1 simple report for £5 bought) STAY AWAY !!”

“Disgraceful, paid for a report and then £29.90 taken from account, said I'd registered for premium service when I clearly hadn't. DO NOT USE. I'll advise everyone I know the same.”

“Seems like a scam site. I paid £5.95 for an initial report and 2 days later they have taken another £29.90 without my authorisation. Raised a dispue with the bank to get a refund on the second unauthorised payment!!”

“used the systems ok but now that l need a vat invoice it doesn't work - shame this will stop me using there system again - if your a business don't use if you need a vat invoice!!”

“The report was never sent to my email address and i have not been able to use my account stating bad URL.....Ive used this lot for many years haven't a clue whats going but what I paid for has gone missing.....Until this problem is sorted NOT recommended.”

“Received a clear finance report from mycarcheck for a vehicle I went onto purchase. HPI report shows finance outstanding so car repossessed by PSA Finance Ltd. Avoid and use HPI as they offer a guarantee.”

“Totally incorrect vehicle mileage date. Listed 2 incorrect mileage even when mine and giv.uk mot checker show correct! 1 record from DSA...when I called DSA to raise a complaint they said it was the company who held the wrong data and all the mileage they had agreed with me and the government. Really bad unreliable information which causes issues for buyers and sellers alike.”

“Absolutely disgrace of a company. They gave me total false information for a car i was buying and I ended up in dispute with the owner. A second check was carried out with a reputable company and all checked out fine and in alignment with the government website. This company told me that the vehicle hadn't been MOT'd for 2 years (off the road) and it has a discrepancy on the mileage. The car owner had every right to give me a hard time based on the information I was provided by this mickey mouse company...........and i paid money for the privilege. Will never use them again and recommend anybody not to use them as well. Terrible service!!!”

“I required a valuation of my car for the purpose of selling it privately. After paying the demanded subscription fee I was automatically transferred to 'Webuyanycar.com' who gave me their valuation. The car check service is flawed.”
