“Quite brassed off had to replace the carrots -they were softish on arrival but two or three days after delivery.( they were stored in the veigie bin in a sealed plastic container with paper towel under them they had gone black. Recipes were good though”

“Love it, but sometimes there is too much lettuce. Maybe when there is lettuce in a meal it can be the lettuce that comes in the smaller packets as we find the whole lettuce too much and it ends up getting wasted sometimes.”

“I enjoy majority of the recipes and ingredients so far! Few issues with deliveries which is inconvenient more than anything but customer service is pretty speedy. Ready made meal slow cooked beef was sublime! Unfortunately portions are more like one serve and one quarter not two serves. Love the kitchen with extra goodies each week!”

“It's pretty good - I like not having to decide what to cook. The sauces are always delicious. I would like to receive a reminder prompt on Sunday checking to see whether I want a delivery that week. I don't like how it automatically confirms the order.”

“Very quick and easy recipes that are very tasty and the feed the team recipes make enough for dinner and lunch the next day. The recipes are ideal for fussy eaters as they’re more like family meals rather than the posh too complicated meals from other food box delivery services. We’ve tried them all and they all start to taste the same but not with bargain box.”

“Overall, we have been quite satisfied with our meals, though it seems more and more of the ingredients are listed as staples, sometimes there isn’t much more than the main ingredient and some flavour provided in the box and the other half of the list we are having to top up from our pantry.”

Sometimes weekly options aren't as extenisve as we would like and would be good to know heat level on things as we have young kids and would probably reduce or remove some of the seasoning for them.”

“Excellent food quality and value for money. I couldn't buy the same products from my supermarket any cheaper than the cost of the Bargain Box. I would like to see a few more healthy or vegetarian meals and more reminders that if I want to make any changes to the menu I need to make those changes before the Sunday evening of the week before - I keep missing the deadline. Overall we have been really happy with our Bargain Boxes and it's got any adult son cooking more than just BBQ meat! (-:”

“Good selection of meals. Great quality ingredients. Wish there was an option to swap out ingredients or remove ingredients that you already have. I have so many full bags of peas and corn because a recipe will only use one cup. But each time a recipe uses 1 cup I get sent a whole bag. Just seems like it could be less wasteful if there was an option to remove an item or if items like that could be package into smaller bags.”
