Hopeless! I paid this company to deliver a parcel. There was NO delivery. There was NOT even an attempt to deliver. This is because MYHERMES even though the tracking showed that the last identified place was at THEIR OWN DEPOT they could not find it! I would be more than happy to accept the uninsured loss had it disappeared from a van or if left behind someone's bin but I DONT expect it to go missing in a supposedly secure environment. MYHERMES seems to think this is acceptable, and have only offered the standard £25 compensation. So much for customer service and satisfaction. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Don't waste your time with this company. CON MERCHANTS AND LIARS. Second time they have damaged our parcels, opened them and held some of the package back demanding more money. Disjusting. You file a claims form then go round and round in circles arguing the toss with an Indian member of there team whom doesn't listen. Arguing that they won't reimburse etc. Better off using more reliable couriers. That don't steal your package contents. Very dissapointed. We were reassured that time this wouldn't happen... Bad for our business. PLEASE NOTE MYHERMES: I HAVE FILLED IN NUMEROUS CLAIM FORMS, COMPLAINT FORMS, ETC. FULL OF Sh**. They blame everyone else. Why not do a follow up on it now...?? Actually get the rest of our damaged parcel delivered instead of lying through your teeth.

It is the Website that is lacking and whoever built it needs sacking. When a parcel needs collecting from a remote address that is paid for by the person the parcel will eventually be received by it is blatantly stated that a collect note does not have to be given. Why is that then? This must be the only company that gets away with that fact because a collect note proves a driver has indeed collected the item. Otherwise zero and the stupid follow up that the driver could have been 3 times to collect that important parcel only on the say so of the driver who may or may not have called for that pickup. No proof for the payee that a parcel that has been payed for pickup/ and delivery has ever been picked up. This fact alone would detract most from using such a company. Worse than lax which may be termed devious or untrustworthy. A multitude of problems ensues because the Website design is very very under par. This can be rectified provided there is a will by the organizers to have a desire to help their customers which according to the numerous detrimental feedback they seem to not want to get thing right so they deserve to go out of business as some would say the sooner the better. It is a true fact that Hermes are capable in some ways on the plus side but they are also capable of loosing 'big' customers such as QVC which you would think would galvanize them into doing what is right?

I had the worst experience was supposed to get my delivery from 3-5 days and it's been a whole week now. They allegedly tried to deliver but apparently no one answered the door. They said they attempted to deliver 3 times now but not once did I hear the door even though I was at home. They didn't ring my doorbell, they didn't knock on the door, they didn't even leave an Sorry I missed you slip. There service is absolutely appalling don't even know why no one has shut them down yet. Too many people have had problems with this delivery service.

sent rare vinyl records with security, receiver not in on day of arrival, said they would re deliver 2-3 days later, they dumped the parcel on his doorstep the day before, driver forged his signature, complained, nothing but runaround, utter garbage

Absolutely awful courier company. I have just sent out 18 fragile items, all wrapped securely. 6 with UK MAIL and 12 with My Hermes. So far literally every one with Hermes has arrived broken. And you had the nerve to quibble and ask for extra fees for being 200g over weight on a couple of them. I will never use your services again and I urge anyone with fragile items to do the same. The state of the boxes upon arrival is something to behold. And despite china not being on your prohibited items list, when you break them, suddenly they are excluded from refunds. And yet you are happy to sell insurance for the service. NEVER use this awful company people.

Item ordered did not arrive, apparently they tried to deliver 3 times but I never received a missed call card. It is very difficult to contact My Hermes and they do not have collection facilities. Item was returned to sender and I couldn't re-order because it was then out of stock, not much point re-ordering anyway if it was going to be delivered by My Hermes

I ordered a courier collection from my home address on Saturday 17th September to be delivered to matalan head office (parcel ID 1037291255066885). The parcel contained clothing to be returned to Matalan for a refund. After 10 days, the parcel has turned up at my house with no explanation or email to indicate why this has happened. I then proceeded to try and call the MyHermes contact number to which every recorded option I selected stated for me to look at the website and then hung up the call. Very frustrating, what is the point of having a contact number if there is no way of actually speaking to someone? I then started a web chat with a customer agent and after 10 minutes of waiting I was connected. I explained what had happened and was told that my parcel had been returned because it was too large. Firstly the item was not too large and well within the specification dimensions listed on your website, and it was the correct weight as I manually weighed and measured the parcel myself. Secondly if there was an issue, I should have been contacted within a couple of days , rather than waiting 10 days with no notification to then have the parcel dumped back on my doorstep (in a poor condition and in an unsafe place I will add). I then escalated a complaint and the response I recieved was 'I can assure you that the parcel was delivered to the recipient'. No, the parcel was delivered back to me, I am the sender not the recipient!!! I paid almost £10 for this service and due to the time that has passed, my matalan clothes returns are no longer eligible for return. I am absolutely appalled by the way this has been handled.

Got a "we missed you card" through the door saying they'd left the parcel by the side of the garage, I had been in all day and no one had knocked on the door. And by the garage I have to battle trees and nettles where they carelessly threw the package without a thought to what was inside. I think this has happened every time and the parcels aren't even for me!

After reflecting on this experience with Hermes, I can honestly say this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The whole process has reminded me and thrown me back to dealing with an army of bullies in my school days! I sent a monitor with them and after it got completely smashed in transit, they said they wouldn't compensate for it as it was in their terms and conditions. The point that I need to make here is that there is no warning prior to sending any item that it may not be compensated. The second and most important point is their attitude to how they treat their customers. When I booked the monitor, I paid extra to insure the item and I would have expected something here to say “check what you are sending”. The item was very well wrapped, on arrival it looked like it had been pushed out a 10 story window and deliberately damaged. It was not a light dent to the box. When I delivered the item at the drop of point, maybe the repressive could have also said, “please can I point out that this type of item may be at risk”?. There was no such mention of this. I also spoke with Hermes customer support on the phone and the online chat; on both counts they were rude, dismissive, hostile, uninterested and showed no understanding of wanting to support their customers. The online help was by far the worst; they just kept referring me to the website like an automated system would. They also gave me false information when I asked for a phone number for someone to speak with; it was only on the fourth attempt when I kept the chat open online and explained I am trying these numbers at the time and wouldn’t work, did they finally give me a number that did get me through to someone, this process took around 42 minuets just to get a phone number. When I phoned the number, I politely explained what had happened and the customer service rep even kept referring me back to the websites terms and conditions. When I tried explaining what had happened the rep just kept repeating herself like she was reading off a script! The whole conversation was again, dismissive and rude. As the conversation progressed the rep got more abrupt and said it was my problem not theirs. Considering I had lost £80 for the damaged item they had damaged, I asked if they would kindly refund the original £8 for sending them item, they refused. I did also send an email politely explaining what had happened to their customer relations team, they did eventually respond – it didn’t resolve any issues although they did refund the original postage costs. It worries me that they can behave in this way, would vulnerable members of society be at risk using Hermes services? It’s a question that has got me seriously concerned. I am normally pretty switched on, but on this occasion I have got caught out and it appears once you encounter any issues with their service/s, the whole experience turns into a harrowing experience you never wish to repeat again. My verdict, what a horrible company – if I was ever forced to use them again in the future, I would sooner drive the length of the country and back again to deliver any item/s. My advice is, avoid them at all costs!

This is my 4th order with H&M whose delivery is handled by My Hermes. First 2 order was to be delivered to my address and both the times I was at home and MyHermes said "delivery attempted" when I was at home waiting for the buzzer to ring, which they clearly did not. My 3rd and 4th order was to be delivered to the Parcel shop (since the customer service department was confident that this parcel will be delivered). After a week of investigation for the 3rd parcel, the customer service reached to the conclusion that it was lost. And now my 4th order is going through the exact same problem where it is not been delivered to the Parcel shop. Unbelievably ridiculous service by MyHermes. They just don't want to work and continue to provide NO service despite all the complaints and phone calls for almost a month!

My Hermes is advertsing a "small parcel" size at £2.75 to compete with Royal mail small parcel sizes, however BE WARNED if you import your orders into My Hermes direct from Ebay then they will charge you the old prices and not offer the "small parcel" option. A £2.75 parcel will cost you £3.95 - dishonest and a con, please steer clear of this awful company!! Would give then "0" stars if Icould

I've had 4 parcels sent by Hermes and non have ever arrived. I will no longer buy from any company that uses Hermes. I've had parcels go missing, parcels sent to wrong hub. Parcels returned as could not find address although I'd spoken too them twice to confirm it was correct. It was not a block of apartments or a commercial property. I've even had one parcel left 3 streets away with a child who told the driver the address was incorrect. Completely useless.

Ordered an item off ebay. The delivery person did not attempt delivery, simply dropped a "Sorry I missed you card". I know, because I was at home all day, in my living room. No one knocked on the door or attempted any delivery. There was no way of contacting the delivery person to arrange another delivery. You are entirely at the whim of the delivery person, and there are no set hours as well. 2 days later, I sat at home all day, until 1845 hrs. There was still no delivery. I left, and returned about 2 hours later to find another "I missed you card". Absolutely ridiculous. Essentially, being a person who actually works for a living, I have no chance of getting a delivery from MyHermes. I cannot contact the driver to tell them where to place the article, I have no tracking number, and MyHermes support is completely and utterly useless. I informed them of the issue I was having, leaving the barcode number of the "I missed you card" and my full address and they still could not identify which delivery I was writing about. This company needs to go bankrupt, and it needs to do so fast.

Waited eleven hours from 8am to 9pm for a Hermes pick up but the driver cancelled it at 8.30am according to managment. Due to a 2 hour queue at the depot & something about a machine not working. I waited all day for nothing. So the next day I dragged the giant parcel to a collection point at 9.40am but it was closed! After informing Interparcel who I booked it through I'm told there is nothing in place to resolve the matter other than a nice cheap apology. They do not give goodwill gestures like Hermes. I actually spoke to an Interparcel supervisor who seemed very smug when explaining that all couriers do not guarantee their services with a money back guarantee. Hermes then told me they would give a credit/goodwill gesture but since I booked them through Interparcel their hands are tied. Interparcel take your money but accept no responsibility when they fail you. After speaking to Hermes again they said they could not tell me if they would give a goodwill gesture if I had booked with them as they work on a case by case basis. I asked the superviser if they were able to use their imagination & let me know given the current situation but the concept of theoretics was impossible for him to grasp & he refused to give me an answer.

Sent 10 parcels via this company in the last 2 weeks. Only one was delivered intact and on time. 7 were badly damaged, 2 were lost. I have learned my lesson and will stay as far away from this company no matter how "competitive" the prices are. They are cheap for a reason.

My recommendation to all is not to consider using this company or do not buy goods from a company that uses them. My complaint is to long to detail, however i am considerably out of pocket due to them.
