“Their customer service responder Sarah, is an actual joke. Telling me im making threat's because i said i was going to complain. They took 3 days and still no response to my email but when they thought i wanted to buy a £1100 camera they responded in minutes. Funny that. As mentioned, i will be putting in a formal complaint and Sarah, if you're reading this, this is a promise.. not a threat.”
“If it's too good to be true.....
....it usually is. I ordered a camera and lens at a price considerably less than other online retailers, which was also advertised with next day delivery. A few hours after the order was made, I was telephoned and told that due to Covid-19 the next day delivery was not possible and it would now take 3-4 working days for delivery to be made. Couldn't really dispute that and so expected to receive the camera in 3-4 working days.
On the 5th working day, still no camera or any communication from the company. I emailed them and requested some delivery info or a tracking number (as is promised on their website) to track the package. I received an email back informing me that the camera had arrived at their London depot (where from I wonder? I had assumed it was already on it's way to me from them) and was scheduled for collection by DHL that evening. However, still no tracking details were given for this.
The following day I received another email to inform me that their warehouse had 'made a mistake' and before the item could be collected it was accidentally damaged and they had no other stock to send out. I was then offered the choice of a refund (at this point they have had in excess of £1,000 of my money in their account) or wait another week and they will order another one (obviously no guarantee that I would receive it then either, which would mean another week with my money in their account... hmmm....).
The company have had the benefit of more than £1,000 pounds of my money in their account for a whole week. From just one customer. I would imagine if that were to happen to a lot of customers, that's quite a lot of money taken and held before eventually being returned. I am currently waiting to receive a refund, which until received, limits me from purchasing the camera elsewhere, meaning further inconvenience.
Incidentally, their website states: "All orders placed before 2pm will be delivered the following day as per our promise to UK and most EU destinations." Just so you know, that is not true.
Please make your own choice - I am merely communicating the facts of my experience with this company. I chose the refund as it's best to trust instinct, and when a business can take and hold your money for a week without doing or sending anything, and then you must wait further to receive that money back, I personally find that concerning.
Not a good experience. Very inconvenient that they cannot supply what I was led to believe was in stock ready for despatch, then provide different excuses to the products whereabouts and ultimately not being able to supply, and then hold your money preventing a purchase from elsewhere. Definitely no Next Day and certainly no Deal.
To be constructive to the business in question - For your own reputation, either provide a payment option to process the payment only when the goods are despatched (i.e like Amazon) or just be upfront with your customers and state that you are taking the money before being able to order and despatch the products yourself, which will add greatly to the lead times you advertise. This way your customer makes an informed decision and there are no surprises, inconvenience or unhappy customers.”
“I ordered a lens last week Tuesday from this nextdaydeal. I haven’t received my Oder up till now. I have been chasing this up. I will never recommend and will definitely not come close to this company again.”
“I shared my views about next day deal on trustpilot. Here is the link to that review (saves me typing everything again)
https://uk.trustpilot.com/reviews/6303b0c7ab7eb0e73ef5ac59
This was followed by 70 phone calls to my personal number and to my business number. Caller kept saying I was scamming him. When I asked about how, I was not given any details. Caller wanted a refund and I said, if you purchased anything from us, you are within your right to ask for it. I made a genuine request to give me order number so that I can refund and this requeste was met by expletives that I won't even consider writing here.
This company invest more time in getting reviews removed, flagged up, or simply harass its customers and lose them forever
This company should improve its operational strategies rather than focusing on targeting people that genuinely change there mind and ask of cancellation of order or refund (as in my case)or wanted repair on faulty goods sent to them (not in my case).
The company did not keep its much hyped next-day deal. It was next week or later.”
“f I could give this company a minus score I would. The customer service by NDD via Dan is something I have never experienced before.
I ordered a camera through NDD on a Saturday. I expected the camera to arrive the following Monday/Tuesday at the latest due to the promise of next ‘day’ delivery. I then received an email Monday saying that there were some delays so to expect my camera within the next couple of days. - slightly miffed but okay, grateful for the notification.
Wednesday comes - nothing. Thursday come - nothing. I think you can see how this is going… Friday comes - nothing. So I email again asking for an update. I was told there was another delay of 2-3 days. Saturday come and there is still no progress, Royal Mail do not seem to recognise the reference number so I phoned and spoke to someone called Dan who must be the reining winner of the award for worst customer service - congrats Dan. I started the call slightly annoyed and so expected to be met with a proactive and apologetic response. With at least the offer of seeing what could be done. Instead, I was patronised, berated and told I was unreasonable for a) being annoyed my camera hadn’t arrived within the promised time window. B) told that I shouldn’t phone and complain to him (Dan) as it wasn’t his problem. And c) that It was my risk and therefore my fault for ordering with NDD as they don’t offer next day delivery as apparently per their t&c’s. Totally absolving the company is any responsibility or obligation to the customer. I asked to speak to a manager as was told that “wasn’t very nice” and that there wasn’t one. I was told curriers didn’t exist that delivered next day over the weekend - blatant lie.
Suffice to say, I left the call absolutely enraged. I have request a full refund and a call back from a manager Monday morning…watch this space.
In summary DO NOT ORDER FROM NEXT DAY DEAL unless you want to receive bad customer service and to be majorly p*#ssed off.
Update around 40 minutiae after posting my original review above.
I have just received a very aggressive phone call from Dan at NDD telling me that he was in fact the director and that I would not be receiving my money back because I was ‘aggressive and treated him badly’. He then called me a ‘Karen’ which I found hilarious. He continued this way speaking over me for the next ten minutes telling me that my review was lies. I asked what his objective was by phoning me, he didn’t answer. I have recorded the call. I ended by telling him this then hanging up.
Strangely, a few minute after I received text from my social medial accounts and email accounts asking to reset my password….I can only assume this was him.
What a guy and what an experience so far.
Update again. After posting the above update NDD has reported my review on trust pilot making therefore hiding the review. Clearly complaining due to appalling customer service has hit a nerve.”
“Awful service.
Ordered a camera and they claim next day delivery all over their site and on the order form. When the camera did not arrive a couple of days later, and I still hadn't received either a shipping notice or the camera. I emailed them and was told that Royal Mail hadn't picked it up the day before and that it was definitely picked up that afternoon.
The next day goes by, still no camera or tracking, send off another email and was told it had definitely been sent and it would be with me soon. The next morning I received a notice saying that Royal Mail had registered the delivery, (the time of which was the previous afternoon, not a couple days before as they had promised), and the package hadn't yet been handed over to them.
This was getting tedious as I would now not receive the camera till after the weekend, so I emailed again to cancel the order. If they couldn't make next day delivery and lying about something as simple as delivery, then I didn't hold out much hope of getting support if the camera arrived broken. I was asked to wait 24 hours and then they'd cancel the order and issue a refund. I waited 24 hours and the camera still hadn't arrived and nor was there any change to the tracking status, with Royal Mail still showing they hadn't received the parcel. So I emailed again and was told that they'd cancel the order and refund me, six days after ordering.
Almost three days later and I hadn't been refunded (nor had the tracking status changed) and I get an email from them cancelling the refund claiming that Royal Mail had 'found' the package. In reality they'd simply ignored me and gone ahead and still sent that parcel as the both the tracking number and the delivery label on the package itself both list the time they received the package as 25 minutes before I was contacted telling me that they'd cancelled the refund..... Hmmm
I refused the delivery and still had to fight to claim the refund.
This company is joke, they are clearly a drop shipper who string UK customers along for high end orders to arrive from overseas before passing them on. Almost every email was signed off by a different person, but obviously written by the same person. I wouldn't recommend anybody buy anything from them.
I have emails and screenshots to verify the above times and dates.”
“Avoid at your peril. Customer service is non existence. Bought a new camera from them, which had a fault . They said to contact Nikon myself !!!. After 10 weeks and more excuses I Threaten to take them to court”

“I purchased from them a £2000 Sony A7IV body with and £2000 Sony 24-70, 2.8 GII lens.
Body delivered in 4 days, lens never arrived. As a response to my email to their customer support they started blaming the delivery company, being very rude and unprofessional.
When I mentioned that I'll give them a bad feedback they threatened me to cancel my warranty if I do so.
I asked for a senior manager to contact me, never happened.
Asked for a refund, after 3 weeks still no refund given.
AVOID THEM, you're risking your money..
and there is no original waranty on their products.”
“Great deal on my P1000 camera from next day deal. They have great customer service. Rang them to check out a few minor details. Safe to say my camera came the next day via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Already have my friend who has placed an order with them and had the same great experience. Highly recommend them”
“This is the first time using Next Day Deal. So I contacted them on live chat to ask a few questions. At first I thought it may be a robot but no, it's a real person on the other side.
They were very polite and professional about the whole thing. They were able to source a lens for me to go along with my camera body which I also bought from them.
I got my tracking - everything went well. I was very happy with the whole process.
My camera and lens arrived perfectly packed - no complaints at all.
They're very reliable and I am happy to recommend them to you too. I will definitely be using them again for future purchases”
