“I am neutral about this product. The service could be better. I had to call and email to get my order to be dispatched. The owner called and emailed to explain that he was so busy. Understandable but frustrating experience. The chair is a made of plastic. Solid and flexible but I am not sure whether it can justify the price tag of almost NZD500. Perhaps too much hype about it. Being eco friendly is good but letting customers to pay too much premium is questionable. Anyone read this review - please know that you are buying some functional chair at a very high price. The chair is a chair and good but it is quite doubtful whether it can justify the price.”

“The chair was easy to put together, and I love the mission behind it. That being said, I cannot recommend this chair. I have begun developing some back strain while using this chair over the last two weeks. Most of this is lower back pain, exacerbated by leaning back on the chair. While the chair does flex, it offers little support creating a major strain on your lower back. Furthermore, the chair’s seat is incredibly uncomfortable. Sure, you could buy the pad for $100 more, but that doesn’t seem logical for a single chair that is already quite pricey. Again, love the mission and aesthetic, but maybe version 2 will solve some of the usability issues.”

“I love this chair. I have been looking for an office chair for a while - been using the dining chair during the pandemic - and this chair meets all the criteria. Best part of it is that this is light! I would recommend though the topper if you are getting this chair because if you are short like me (I am 5'1), the edge of the chair might feel sharp against the legs.”

“For our new home we wanted to utilize durable, low maintenance, and well-designed materials in as many aspects as possible. When it came to chairs for our Saarinen table, we found the noho Move chair and really loved the design, the materials, the durability, and the claimed comfort. We ordered 2 to try them out, and quickly ordered the next 6 to fill out our seating. Now we have dinner guests that can sit comfortably, all while I don't stress over whether a "designer" chair can also be strong and durable. We've hosted several dinner guests, and all have commented how comfortable and attractive our new chairs are, both to sit in and look at.”

“I bought this chair for my hybrid, work from home setup as I wanted a nice-looking chair without wheels. It was easy to assemble but I had horrible back pain after the first day. My body has since adjusted. My cat really loves the chair and has claimed it for my non-working hours and overnight naps. I love the half topper, but the wool material is a cat hair magnet. Would love noho to consider making toppers using more pet-friendly materials.”

“Great choice for our new small apartment The chairs are comfortable and sturdy but light weight enough for us to adjust at the table. i would suggest a larger gripping attachment for pulling the chair back from the table when you next do design changes.”

“I bought the chair because of the recycled material used in its construction. After having have used it for a few weeks now I have come to really like it. I would say that it certainly helps me maintain better posture but it also has a lot of give if you are trying to lean back.”

“Wow! What a beautiful chair. It's like an art piece you can sit in. I have been so impressed by noho from the beginning - economical, plastic-free packaging; super-easy, no-tool assembly, and the chair itself is not only beautiful but makes me mind my posture by kind of (but comfortably) pushing my body forward a bit. It's a welcomed feeling after 2 years of working from home slouching at my kitchen table. If you're on the fence about this chair, don't be. Get it. It's a perfect blend of eco-friendly, functional, aesthetic and easy awesomeness.”

“LOVE THE NOHO CHAIR. I've always had a terrible back when I sit in office chairs - made worse during lockdowns sitting in our dining chair. But since I've bought the Noho chair, it has done wonders for my back. I can stretch, I can sit cross-legged, my body is well supported. I was hesitant with the pricing at first, but is it well worth it. Now to convince my husband to get one as well for his home office!”
