Delivery program extremely lacking. Nordstrom obviously switched to a cheap and non-communicative delivery system as a method to save money and result in terrible service.

They have received my return items for 4 weeks already but still haven't processed my refund. Called them two times but they say they are too busy to refund and wanted me continue to wait till 30 day, what? Why they have time to take my money immediately but need 30 days to refund to their customers? What a bad customer service!!!đź‘Žđź‘Žđź‘Ž

I am in shock at the experience I just had with Nordstrom. I ordered online and received my package, but it only had 1 of the 2 items stated were included. The package was delivered to a secure package locker, with a code that only I had access to and it was not tampered with. I immediately reached out to inform Nordstrom of the issue and only a few hours later was sent the following message: "I have reviewed the situation regarding the investigation that was done on your missing package. We have confirmed delivery by fedex, and they have the GPS coordinates on the delivery scan. We have also gathered information from our internal investigation. Due to the totality of our findings, we have concluded a theft occurred as you do not have your item. Nordstrom is not able to compensate for criminal activity. ​ We strongly recommend filing a police report. Once the investigation officer contacts us with a subpoena, we will be able to release the details of our investigation, and fedex will be able to release the GPS coordinates and any other details they have gathered in regard to the delivery to your designated shipping address." How this is okay, is beyond me. Yes, I did receive the package.It did not have all of the items in it. Not sure I can ever feel confident shopping with Nordstrom again, after being a loyal customer my entire life. So upset and honestly sick to my stomach about how this was handled.

Bought very expensive shoes with 2 other items. The package arrived with only the two other items I immediately let customer service know to see if they were shipping separately but they told me no and that their “internal investigation” concluded the package was delivered and I could call the police to report the shoes stolen out of the package… which wasn’t tampered with or opened prior to arriving to me. They were no help whatsoever and basically told me sorry you are out of the money and the shoes and we don’t care and won’t help. I’m returning the other items, canceling my Nordstrom credit card and my trunk club membership and never shopping at Nordstrom again. It’s such a shame

Friends, caution when purchasing from Nordstrom. I've been a loyal customer for over a decade. The past two years have been a challenge for retailers and I've had a number of issues with Nordstrom not crediting my returns properly. I've contacted Nordstrom and gotten it straightened out in the past, but recently I have a return that Nordstrom refuses to credit because I am told that it has not made it to Nordstrom's returns warehouse. On researching the issue, I am informed that Nordstrom contracts with Newgenics, a Pitney Bowes company, to deliver its packages. I tracked the package, which shows it is was delivered to Newgenics on 1. 27. 22, but that's all I have been able to find. Nordstrom said that because it has corrected issues in the past for me, it cannot do anything about this presumably lost package. I am so frustrated, but have decided I'll learn from this and move on. I'm also going to warn others to keep track of your Nordstrom returns, because for me, I've had a number of experiences where I have had to call Nordstrom in order to be properly credited. And I'll take my shopping dollars elsewhere.

I sent my materials back and was never refunded after spending hours contacting them, they will become a horrendous customer service organization and they keep your money when you have tracking and everything, I will never buy from them again. They owe me over $600 and have treated me like garbage after spending tens of thousand dollars there for over 20 years

Had the same issue as several others on here. Ordered an item that was never delivered and told it that their “internal investigation” showed it was delivered. Pressed them for proof of delivery and they replied I’d need a subpoena for them to provide it. I’m a longtime customer, cardholder and Ambassador level Nordy club member and I will never order from them again. Terrible customer service.

If you have ever had to speak with Nordstrom customer service regarding missing items then you know...there is nothing they can do. Never spoke to a company with such terrible customer service in my life. It made me so mad I will never shop there again.

Do Not order from nordstrom online account - if you dont receive the shipping package nordstrom makes you pay for item. Their customer service is not like other department store nordstrom has failed me in customer service.

I placed order online never received. Nordstrom: "regarding your claim of missing item(s) from your recent Nordstrom order. After concluding our internal investigation. At this time, Nordstrom has made the decision not to issue a refund or replacement as was requested." Well Well I guess I will now post here. Very unhappy with Nordstroms.

Nordstrom USED TO be known for its amazing customer service. Not anymore. I purchased a necklace and it was stolen before I could receive the package. I contacted Nordstrom customer service 5 times and was told there isn't anything that they can do. That is completely unfair to me as a customer. The online and telephone customer service was abysmal! I now have paid 350 dollars for something that I never received. I will never shop at Nordstrom again. And I will tell everyone I know to do the same.

I did not have a bad experience at your Beachwood Ohio store. However, I was appalled that the Nordstrom store was like going to dillards or macy’s. Nordstrom has always had high end merchandise. I cannot believe the merchandise displayed. For lack of a better word, it was junk. I couldn’t wait to leave and won’t be back. Your sales associates were always nicely dressed. Not anymore! I saw employees in jeans, sweatpants, and clothing only appropriate for home relaxation. I know the economy is in a bad way, but you are driving away all your loyal customers because of the changes. My friend’s husband used to buy all his dress shirts at Nordstrom. He walked in and the changes were so shocking to him he told his wife to pay off the credit card and close his Nordstrom account. It saddens me to see Nordstrom in the state it is in.

I'm besides myself. I contacted nordstroms about a store return and followed the agents instructions to the t. I was told to keep my tracking number so I could prove I had sent it incase it was lost. I ask for a receipt from the post office plus I took pics. 14 days latter no refund. So I called . The boots were brand new never worn plus they were worth $170. I had to speak with 4 supervisor. Only one filed a case. Suddenly I recieved a gift card for $34.83 and called to see what it was for. I was informed my return had been sent over to nordstrom rack and that didn't make sense cause the boots were $97 on their website. The supervisor I got began to grill me and made me feel like a criminal. I ask for my boots to be returned but no they were not willing to do that. That would be considered stealing if I did it I believe. Nordstrom use to be a good company but beware. If you can find your item elsewhere I would consider it. The sad thing is nordstrom use to be customer friendly . No wonder they almost have had to close their doors.

I ordered a Free People long sweater - very strange, it came from Nordstrom Rack, it was obviously used, and it was an xtra large which had a size small sticker taped over the original sticker. I needed a small, so that did me no good whatsoever, plus the fact that it was used merchandise. Also, I ordered another item which was not shipped at all. Customer service used to be so good, not anymore.

Ordered a Chloe bag for XMAS - paid for expedited shipping - they shipped with Ontrac. The shipment was delayed by two days. Finally I got notice it was being delivered on the 18th, waited all day. Then I get a second notice from Ontrac saying it was delivered at 3PM - I had been home ALL day with door open...it was never delivered. Called Nordstrom - basically they were polite, refunded my money and that was it... no effort to say - lets find you a new one and lets get it to you over the holidays -- nothing...like it was no big deal. They did give me 75 dollar gift card for my inconvenience - but nothing about the bag...what has happened to American's # 1 store in customer service- I think they have really gone down hill, and this company they are using for shipping called Ontrac is the worst! They need to step up or they are going to lose their long time valuable customer base.

Im really disappointed because Nordstrom had always been so great. I ordered online a pair of jeans and shoes. I tried the jeans on and they were too big but I happened to notice that the tag that was attached was the size I ordered but the inside tags were a size bigger. Very strange and has never happened before. I wasn’t all that upset because I called them expecting them to take care of it because I had never had an issue with their customer service in the past. They were very strange on the phone and put me on hold and said they would “research“ what happened and call back in three business days. I honestly was shocked because even a normal store would usually offer to order the right size and they never called me back. All of the Nordstrom’s that I used to go to have closed so I am done with them. I returned everything at a Nordstrom rack. I feel like this is just representative of what services like today aka there is none.

What in the name of God are you doing Nordstrom?! First time I ordered a gift for my daughter for in-store pick up. It said it was available. Then, after waiting a day, it was cancelled since it's suddenly not available anymore even though I paid for it online. Then, I re-ordered the item ONLINE and received free expedited shipping. The item was "supposed" to arrive last week Friday but never did. Tracking online doesn't work. NO DETAILS! I called AGAIN and even customer service could NOT track the item and didn't know where it was. WTH??? I ordered AGAIN! Same item! Again, expedited shipping. For crying out loud Nordstrom! Get it together!!!!

This was my first and last time ordering from Nordstrom online. I ordered 3 items on November that were sent in 2 shipments. The first shipment was through ontrac and that only updated when a label was created. The second shipment was sent through USPS and I received that 3 days later. To this day, ontrac claims to never have received my order. I called Nordstrom at least 6 times and each time their story changed on when I would get a refund and when I would get my package. They have very misleading and unethical practices and I'm blown away by how incompetent they are. I should have known they were going under because that makes people do very shady things to keep them from refunding customers. I will post this on every review site online. Stay away from this business!!! Amazon and Macy's are more reliable.
