a little more expensive than average, however the service is superb, delivery is spot on time and so far the only one who will help you and deliver right inside your flat.

Good service and products. The only issue for me it's the expensive delivery. I'd be the best supermarket out there with their free delivery.

Great product range, great delivery service - at least the first year while deliveries are free - only slight downside is that they are often more expensive than other supermarkets

Tried Ocado a couple of years ago and been with them since. In the past have tried Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, Waitrose. Waitrose was good but I can get all their produce from Ocado and the service is better.

Good availability of delivery slots. Good selection of produce and high quality Delivery drivers always very helpful Delivery charges a bit high for peak times Substitutions sometimes not acceptable

I enjoy using Ocado. My shopping is easy to order using the app and arrives well packed with rarely any substitutions. The drivers are always friendly and helpful. My one grumble is about Christmas deliveries. I pay for a smart pass and yet over the Christmas period I cannot get a delivery because I will not spend the minimum of £90. Also, I feel resentful of having to book a slot miles in advance and then pay even more for delivery at this time. However this is the only fault I can find with Ocado's service.

I could not rate Ocado as very good because I've had a few disappointing experiences with orders. Such as items missing from orders or produce looking very out of date regardless of use by date. I also feel that Ocado should attempt to bring it 's prices down - some items have a ridiculously high price. If Other certain German supermarkets can, why not Ocado? After all we pay for picking and delivery. Having said that, I am pleased that Ocado stocks a good range of foods , particularly organic and free range. I just can't always afford them! The thing that really drives me to despair though is the very short use by dates on everything. I feel this is the major reason that we read so much in the Press about the huge amount of food we are having to throw away! Sometimes I feel the short dates are a cynical ploy to get us ordering quickly again. Thank Heaven for my freezer! Lastly, could we buy vegetables and fruit by weight also? When you live alone you don't necessarily want huge bags of carrots or sprouts! Also more meals for the single person - the present range is becoming a bit boring. And could small loaves of bread be half the price of the large ones? Usually it's £1.50 say, for the large and 85p for the small. Not right.

Delivery has always been very good but I have noticed that since we started having deliveries from the Manchester side the drivers are MUCH nicer; more friendly & polite & extra helpful. This week we had a driver from the Leeds side & although he was quite polite he was nowhere near as nice as the chap last week. I would like to especially praise last weeks driver who was exceptional.

they send you food with very short dates on which is inconvenient and unfair. For instance, I got an apple strudel on Monday and expired a day later-and unfortunately my oven had broke on the Monday evening. This is ocado's normal practice

Hey Julie, thanks for leaving us a review. We're very sorry that you weren't able to enjoy your apple strudel which you bought from us along with the disappointment on the shelf life on some items you received. We do display a life guarantee on our website for the necessary items, to let you know how many days you are expected to get out of it when placing your order. We do also include the day of delivery in our life guarantee policy. We'll always make sure that you receive your products well within their promised life guarantee. Our apologies again and we hope that your oven is fixed.

Ocado offers a much wider range of products than my local supermarkets. The drivers are really helpful, friendly and polite and I like being able to track exactly how much I'm spending as I put items into the trolley. My only criticism would be the packing - sometimes I find my leafy salad veg at the bottom of a bag - hence the Good rating rather than Very Good. With my monthly Smart Pass, I get free delivery between Tuesday and Thursday which works very well for me. Overall, a much better use of time than pushing a trolley round the local supermarkets!

We're really sorry to read that your packing hasn't been to the best standards at times. Any time you receive poor packing and advise us of this, we pass on your feedback to the Warehouse Management team as this is something that we always want to improve wherever we can. Apologies again that your packing hasn't been too great. Hopefully on your next order, you'll see a much better improvement in this.

I absolutely love receiving my emails and texts confirming my delivery and it makes me happy to see their lovely vans arrive with my food. The only thing I struggle with is that as you can't choose the fresh foods personally it means often have to use things up quickly as the use by dates come round quickly.

The quality of your fruit and vegetables could be better. An improvement would be the availability of daily papers. Your drivers are always very pleasant

Usually very good but it is very frustrating when for example you have ordered 6 bottles of Pelorus and only 2 arrive with 4 Lindauer. The stock needs to be accurate or they are delivered at a later date when back in stock at the offer price

On the whole can't fault the service but sometimes the packing and substitutions leave a lot to be desired. Hence the 4 star rather than 5.

I am very pleased with my delivery service from ocado. All the staff are very polite and helpful. I like the fact I get a text telling me who will be delivering and the van details. I also haven't had many unavailable items. Exchange is also quick and easy.
