Ordered parts on the 3rd, tracking provided after 4days but no progress on the tracking. Contacted the courier (Evri) who said items had not been dispatched from the vendor and that they were waiting to collect. Contacted customer services at onlinecarparts by email with this information and got a reply saying I needed to wait another 6-9days! Paid a premium for delivery too of over £8 for this shambles.

Do not buy from them! If anything will go wrong with your delivery, they will leave you hanging for months, will misguide you and even lie to you! You have been warned! It is the hardest review in my life as this company broke so many UK and EU laws that I have no idea where to start... When I notified them about the issue, they did not respond. I had to raise the case with PayPal to grab their attention. The first response that I received was from a person that did not know English well and did not understand what I am enquiring about. Later, they pretended to be friendly. Sent me the paperwork and told me that they are on the case. I sent the paperwork back with all possible evidence to support that: I was not at home, nobody was in, the signature was not mine and I have no idea who "received" the goods even that my name was used by the courier. So far so good? Not a chance. For days there was no update around the case. I complained many times to the seller that according to the law my contract is with them and not the shipping company, that full responsibility for goods is with them until they will be delivered into my hands. The law is clear that the shipping company is working on behalf of the seller and I am not a participant in this procedure. Response? Please wait. Please wait and please wait. The seller was notified that by selling goods to the UK he needs to comply with the UK and EU laws. The law is clear - "If your item wasn't delivered to the location you agreed, it's the seller's legal responsibility to sort out the issue." They also were not interested to send the good again, only for me to wait. I was contacted by the shipping company and they confirmed that the signature was not mine. That should be enough for the seller to start formal processing with the shipping company. That did not happen. 30 days have passed. The seller ignored the Formal termination of the contract email which obliged them to issue an immediate refund. As you can see they are happy to break the law and do not care about it. My bank is handling the complaint right now and my fight is far from over. Even when I will get my money back, I will pursue any possibility to get them fined or prosecuted as I strongly believe that every company that is breaking the law should be brought to justice. They also pretend to be UK company. Avoid by any means!

I ordered a wing mirror cover and input the vehicle registration number for the correct part. Unfortunately, it was not the correct part as there wasn't a cutout for the indicator. When I went back to query this, I received an email stating that the 'search on our website gives only approximate results and the checking according to the car's details doesn't guarantee the suitability and the purchasing according to the car's details is at your responsibility'. I'm sorry? Notwithstanding the near incomprehensible babble (the service agents aren't English speakers – it's a German operation), they appeared to be suggesting that the vehicle registration look-up does not select parts that fit the vehicle searched. Wow. Apparently, the online search function should be ignored in favour of providing them with the VIN code/chassis number (17 letters+digits) or the original part numbers (OEM) of the required car parts. Mystifyingly, they advised 'we don't accept the car parts if their design or specifications were changed from the initiall one when they were delivered.' Answers on a postcard please because I haven't got a clue what that means at all. In short, a shoddy site that will take your money and run. AVOID.

No mention that this is part of Autodoc based in Germany. When the order is placed they tell you that your tracking will be available within 24h- fair enough- then they tell you that the delivery will be 6 days later. Not much use if you have a vehicle off road.

It appears Onlinecarparts.co.uk have links to AUTODOC, a firm with many bad reviews. I paid Onlinecarparts.co.uk 10 days ago for 2 rear suspensiion springs, but nothing has been delivered. Evri/Hermes have given me a tracking number, but they can't find my parcel. I've just ordered more springs from a company on ebay because i'm not confident i'll ever get what i ordered from Onlinecarparts.co.uk/AUTODOC.

waited too long for parts, paid £11 for delivery to online parts .They used evri parcel company and their charge for that size parcel is only £3/4. If you pay £11 for delivery you would think with being a parts company they would use a quicker Service waiting only 6 days for parts is not very good

Website outlined product as in stock and available for fast delivery. Took 5 days to process the order and 7 days to deliver it. No real way to check and cuatomer service completely oblivious. Felt like I was online shopping in the 90's - not really acceptable by today's standards. Gave them two stars because the website was easy to use but the rest was a fail and I don't want to use this company again.

Do not use this company. It says that the delivery is made in 2-3 days and in reality it is somewhere in 10-12 days. I do not recommend.

As others have said, a company that appears to be UK based and is in fact in Germany. Parts take forever to arrive - it took five days just to clear German customs. As car parts tend to be urgent, there is little point in a company like this other than to scam UK customers. Wish I'd checked online reviews before ordering...

Good quality parts sent and received well packaged within 2 weeks to the UK. All parts correct except the water reservoir cap was too small. It was just a cheap extra that wasn't really needed anyway. Replied to any emails I sent within 24 hours. Thanks Chris Martin for your prompt replies. Overall a very good experience after the original panic of seeing the bad reviews. Yes I will definitely use again. 5 stars from me as I am a happy customer.

Okay, Initially, like many others, I thought I was purchasing from a UK company. I was in urgent need of a tail-lamp assembly for my car and required a fast delivery. One can imagine the anguish when I discovered that the company was based in Germany. This information is only presented to you after you have placed the order, although there is a process for cancelling (I considered this option, but opted for letting the purchase run its course). I was able to track the package, and the part arrived, perfect condition, very well packaged. From order placement to accepting it was 1 week to the hour. While I can not fault the product, I agree with a lot of the reviewers' comments regarding delays in communication and the disingenuous way in which the transaction occurs using a German based supplier. I can only surmise that this is a marketing technique to gain extra cross-border business - a little under-handed! In summary, I the part I ordered arrived, it was exactly what I ordered and it took 7 days. The only improvement would be communication, but maybe this is how transactions are conducted in Germany.

These guys should be investigated by the UK authorities. They are based in Germany and even though I have cancelled my order within 6 hours they refuse to co-operate. I am going to be writing to the German trade officials who should be overseeing such operations and make sure that they abide by the law. There is absolutely no communication and I suspect that have no stock but buy it in hence the incredibly slow delivery that is talked about on this site and many others. I have given up trying to ask them for my money back even though I have received nothing - I'll spend most of my time now investigating them with the help of the German financial authorities. They wont be in business for very long. Stay well away!

Its a shame that they have to be given at least 1 star!! I ordered parts and was promised delivery in 4 days which i was more than happy with. They then sent me a flurry of emails cancelling and reordering the parts i was confused but after a few emails i managed to get to the issue being (stupidity and ineptitude). On day 12 I decided to cancel the order and order from a UK company (did you know that they're German) and received an email saying that there could be no refund as the parts had been shipped, the tracking website shows the delivery status as 'registered for shipping but no picked up' so not actually shipped. Please, please avoid at all costs.

DANGER!!!!!! AVOID!!!!! Absolute DISGRACE!!!! This company are in complete breach of the consumer rights act. £25 part ordered 6 weeks ago. Was charged £8 for delivery. It was lost by their courier. They allegedly delivered to somebody I've never heard of. Certainly not one of my neighbours. Now 6 weeks later I'm still fighting them for a refund or a replacement. Each time you contact them you get a different staff member and the process starts from scratch. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE THEM!!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID

A very bad company they sent me parts for another car model. Later, at my expense, I had to send them back to Germany, because there is their warehouse. I lost a lot of money and time.

Sent the wrong part and refused to refund. I’m still complaining but getting nowhere. They say I have to make a warranty claim but even then I won’t get a refund. DO NOT USE this company. THE WORST car parts site out there. Onlinecarparts are BAD!!

I ordered a part giving the part number. The wrong one was sent from Germany. They reviewed the issue and claimed they had sent the correct part despite it having a different part number. I then had to pay postage back to Berlin if I wanted to return it so was cheaper to just keep it. I even sent pictures of the part. The one I ordered had one dial and the part I received had two dials. Completely out of order and will never use them again
