The lenses were fine, and they were fitted as I specified. I do like the reglazing service. If I bought new frames online, I expect they would not be suitable for me. Thanks Optically

I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses that were polarized and progressives as well. It was a complicated prescription and did take longer than stated. When I would call to inquire. They always got back to me quickly and when the prescription was ready they shipped them express at no charge to me.

Took a little longer than the website says (a little under a month), and no emails, but the glasses arrived just as ordered; my prescription is complex, but they are perfect, with polarization film as requested.

Too many “hidden” costs in the form of addons or shall I say , the addons are too expensive. The glasses always get foggy and misty.Dirt accumulates quickly and hard to remove .Wiping alone doesn’t do the trick.

The price of the glasses are really affordable..good pricing!! The shipping took a little bit longer..when I emailed and ask whats taking too long they said that my lens really high and they need to make a special order or something with it..but they didn’t indicate or told me when i was placing the order

They reglazed a pair of glasses for me, and they were fine, and the cost was good. My issue was a lack of communication in terms of where to send them, if they were done, etc. With no response to email they suddenly just showed up. But the glasses were fine and quality was good, price was good.

I sent a pair of Oakleys for re-glazing only to find out they can't re-glaze those particular frames. They have still not returned them. So I sent another pair that they were able to do but I did have to pay for the shipping charges(2x). Whenever I call I talk to someone in Australia and they never seem to contact me by email. Overall not happy will probably never use your services again. You are a online provider of a service with lousy customer service when things go wrong.

I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses from them in June of 2018, and they were good. They came in 2 weeks, was good quality, the price was great and I'm still using them a year later. This influenced me to go through optically to purchase my regular glasses and that was when the headache started. The ordering process was simple and intuitive for sure. About a week after I ordered I got an email, saying that my frame got broken in the process of installing the lens, and it was the last one in their inventory. They said I can choose any other frame I want and they'll credit me $10. I did that and indeed got a $10 refund on my credit card. To put into perspective, I had paid extra for the highest index Kodak lenses they had available. This would ensure that they would be thin and light for my pretty strong prescription. When I got the glasses the lenses were very thick. They were definitely not high index. Kodak themselves said that all their lenses should be delivered with a certificate of authenticity, which this was not, leading me to believe they aren't real. I wore them for a few days and the prescription and all was fine, but then I noticed at some points where I look everything gets blurry. Upon closer inspection I realized the lens was coated unevenly. This was a problem. I called optically and they told me they'll call me back (which never happened). I called every single day and never got help with the issue. I just went through PayPal and filed a dispute, to which optically never responded so I got a full refund. Although I am quite happy with my sunglasses, it seems the quality of service has changed at optically, and I will be switching online glasses stores.

Optically.ca has a great website that boasts fantastic customer service and great reviews. When in fact, they fall quite short of everything they promise. After reviewing their website I decided to go ahead and make a purchase, however, knowing what I know now, I probably would not have. On their home page, they have an image from sitejabber.com claiming 4.5 out of 5 star reviews, however, that review is not for optically.ca, perhaps it is for their New Zealand website optically.co.nz. Their website also says that they will provide updates via email & text message at every stage of your order processing/shipping, however, I did not receive any of these messages.Overall, they fell quite short of the service described on their website. When I initially placed my order, I received two order confirmation emails, however, they both had the same order #. I contacted them right away to ensure I would not be charged twice and not receive two pairs of RX Sunglasses. I got an email back assuring me that my order was placed once. It turned out I was in fact charged twice on my credit card. From when I initially contacted Opically regarding the double charge, it took them 7 days to agree I had been charged twice and agree to issue a credit. The prescription sunglasses I ordered came in soft packaging, with no box to protect it. As a result, during shipping, the actual case of my glasses was totally destroyed. When I complained to Opically I was told I could have a $4.95CAD refund, or a new case shipped. I requested a new case. It has been over a month since they said they would send me a new case, and I still have not received one. Additionally, please be aware, Optically.ca is not located in Canada. My sunglasses were first shipped from the United States to a location in Ontario, and then re-shipped to me in Vancouver, British Columbia. I will say, the prescription sunglasses I received were as advertised, and I am happy with them. However, due to all of the other headaches, I would not purchase from Optically.ca again. I found the customer service to be extremely poor and not what I would expect from an online company.
